Great Lux SUV
I have had my RDX for 4 months now and am very happy with my purchase. I drove the BMW X3, Volvo XC60 and the Audi Q5. All the European models were at least a few thousand dollars more for the same level of equipment and yet I found myself enjoying the engaging drive more from the Acura. The track pad does require some time to master but once you do, its easy and provides a less distracting interface than a full touch screen due to muscle memory and its high placement. Overall, I have been really happy with my decision and have been getting about 25 MPG in mixed driving in Normal mode.

Practical but Sporty
Just purchased a 2022 RDX Advance. Great little SUV. Very good value. Drove the Lexus RDX, NX, BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Genisis GV70. The Genisis was tempting but had reliability concerns because it was a new model and Genisis has had some overall reliability issues with some of their other models. All in all, thought the RDX was the best value. It was also very fun to drive. Have about 3K miles. No issues. Car is quite and very comfortable. For highway driving, I use comfort mode and get 28 MPG. For around town, normal mode gets me 23 or better. The sport mode is lots of fun but uses a bit more gas. I can't think of anything I dislike other than maybe the touch pad. An improvement would be touch screen, but the pad is not very difficult to learn and is for the most part intuitive. I use Android Auto so most of what I do is activated by voice commands anyway. Liked the ride of the BMW but wanted to keep this car for a long time so went with the Acura over the BMW and the Audi. Have owned several BMWs and know that they can be real money pits after 4 or 5 years. My experience with Audi has been the same. The Germans are using too many plastic parts in their cars these days. Overall, highly recommended.

Very pleasantly surprised
New Acura RDX Advanced purchased February, 2022 now with 4000 miles; 25% highway/75% urban driving. Mileage per trip computer 26.2 mpg (all Comfort or Normal modes and non hooligan driving style). Quiet interior, good handling, adequate power without rattles, squeaks, or problems and much more comfortable seats for long distance driving than Audi. Track pad sucks but we use Apple CarPlay and voice commands for everything without issues. We came out of two Audi's (2018 Q7 Prestige and 2018 A4 Premium Plus) with desire to downsize/simplify. Looked at BMW X3 and Q5 (too small); Genesis GV70 (too new, non premium dealerships), Jeep Grand Cherokee (reliability concerns, brand new design, non premium dealerships despite premium price, crummy engines/mileage with old V6 or V8). So far we are extremely happy with our choice. Review update after nearly 3 year's ownership. I remain very impressed with our Acura compared to previously owned Audi's and BMW's. The car now has +36k miles on it; no mechanical issues whatsoever. The seats look great, remain comfortable and we've gotten used to the interior foibles. The super handling all wheel drive works well. The 10 speed automatic transmission is near invisible. We have since purchased a touch screen heavy car and frankly, I hate it. A swipe and two taps to open/close garage door with HomeLink?? A tap and swipe(s) to adjust temp? No thanks. I'll take buttons/knobs any day for HVAC, seats, and entertainment adjustments. My only complaint is average fuel economy, but it's an SUV. At least it burns regular gas.

Love it
Have had it since March and love it. Sound system is great and comfort and style is great in the fully loaded one! Only complaint is gas mileage, which has been around 23 mpg.
Impressive Premium Car
I love everything about my new RDX A-Spec Advance. All of the features are great. I am not sure why all the complaints about the True Touch Pad. I'm not a young techy and I mastered the system in just a few days and I love it. The ride in Comfort mode is superb and in Sport mode, it moves quick. Its handles with both sportiness and luxury feel. It's a sharp looking car.....beautiful interior with extremely comfortable seating. I know, I have back issues and the seats feel awesome. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.
