Used 2020 Acura MDX Consumer Reviews
Lovely SUV
A few weeks ago I went to go test drive a 2020 MDX in lunar silver Metallic The ride was so smooth and it was just so practical the car felt so lux mostly because the Tech pkg was quieter and came with more luxury appointments overall it was a wonderful SUV The only things that bothered me tho was that In a Honda Pilot it offers more value because unlike the MDX The Pilot could come equipped with a pano-sunroof a digital speedometer a foot activated liftgate led brake and reverse lights and a more modern nav system but at the end of the day its still a beautiful suv with a cool design and a premium feeling

Wish I had my Highlander back
MDX looks nice, has a smother, somewhat quieter ride than the Highlander and nicer leather interior. With that being said, the navigation, phone and radio are totally lacking in ease of use. Nav and Phone take a lot of Maneuvering (which can't be safe), are not quick and easy. I went back to the dealer to see why certain options weren't working and after about 30 minutes was told that I should just use Android Auto. That is not an option as I do not have unlimited data. Had it been explained that to use all the available Tech options (that they couldn't stop talking about) that we would need to have unlimited data we would have taken a harder look at this vehicle. Limited view on passenger side when backing up. The back camera gets wet it is of no use (totally blurred). The 2nd row headrest block your view (we removed them). We've only had this vehicle 3 months and I hate it. The 2 star rating is only for quiet, smooth ride and leather interior.

Nice but not overly luxurious. Decent gas mileage.
The MDX will be upgraded in 2021. Styling is dated but still appealing. Navigation screen is much smaller than other cars in the class but I’m sure that will change in 2021. Power, performance and handling are good. Comfort is also Very good. The start stop feature on this and all other makes of vehicles needs to go away! It interferes with climate control comfort and will be a maintenance issue down the road. The gas savings is minimal and doesn’t justify the inconvenience. There must be a better way! Overall the Acura MDX is a quality vehicle.

Lousy 7 seater
9 speed transmission hesitates and pause . Sensing features can not be trusted. Outdated infotainment and dash telematics. Gas guzzler, am averaging 18 mpg. No spare tire!!! Oh please. Acura client relation’s doesn’t care. My nightmare car purchase. I should have bought an Infinity or a Lexus. Learn from my mistakes. Peter
