I loved my Acura MDX because it was a really nice riding car. It was nice and roomy. I did not have any maintance problems at all. I always got my oil change and service done on schedule. Lovely automobile!

Peeling paint due to factory issue - Beware!

Bought the car new. While it's been a great car until now, all of the sudden a big piece of paint the diameter of a basketball is suddenly missing. Apparently known issue on Acuras. Acura refuses to acknowledge issue and are worthless to deal with. Yet issue common enough that dealer knew exactly about the problem. I used to be Acura/Honda fan...but not so much after this horrible experience

Engine died at 136k miles

Poor reliability, one cylinder lost compression and another had low compression at 136000 miles. Car now at junkyard. Nav system database lacks key features even after latest updates.
