What's the difference between a Honda OEM oxygen sensor and any after-marke
My 1999 CR-V is throwing consistently P0131 CEL (pre-cat sensor voltage low). The O2 sensor is the nippondenso one which I had to splice in the old connector (4 wires). On another note, the Element has the K24 engine, the same as a 2001+ CRV as my 1999 has a B20Z engine, 2 litre instead of 2.4 for the element. I see that my post got erased, it's a bummer because I'll have to redo the whole post and not just fix the pictures. My mechanice read off a list while looking at the Honda site and as I remember 99 were supposed to replace at around 6 years but any mechanic can bring up that information. I use the dishwasher detergent to clean almost any stains that is hard to rub off. Try in a small corner first to see the result. It is the Cascade milky gel like. A green color bottle. Use a Q-Tip to put a thin layer and wait about 10 mins then hose it off with warm water. I can remove old tea stains on my sink easily with this method.

I have a 99 Honda CRV with a front head light that is clouding over like it has a cataract! I am told to change out the head light, we have to remove the bumper of which we are being quoted several hundreds of $$$ to have this done! Is this right?

Juice - The gearing for the 1st gen CR-V was short. The 2nd gen still had short gearing, but it wasn't quite as low. That applied to both the auto and manual. What we paid in Morton Grove, IL
At Castle Honda, we made an offer on the price sans tax & title at 20,300 for the 2006 CRV EX 2WD. The manager came back with 20,400, if we bought today. We were sold. After all the rebates and taxes, the total came to around 22,000. Granted 2007 vehicles are just around the corner. Even gave us a better trade in than we expected for our 1999 Nissan GXE.

I can't really speak for the Accord, but can say my 1999 Accord is valued around $3000 more in NADA and Kelleys Blue Book than my 2000 Malibu, with both having about the same sticker price.
