1997 Ford Thunderbird LX 2dr Coupe
I bought one used with 24,000 miles on it in June 1998, my second T-Bird. After 4 yearsand over 80,000 miles on it now, it's only been in the shop ONCE for anything other than routine maintenance such as tires, oil changes. Very reliable and a comfortable ride for commuters. Highly recommended if you can find one (you can't have mine!).
Interior layout convenient, lots of elbow room up front. Shift, dual cup holders & map box (with handy trunk-pop button) between front seats, flip-down armrest in back seat, large trunk. Power driver's seat, excellent A/C performance (& I live in Texas!), I get 23-24 MPG. Smooth ride.
Ford, Please bring this model back into production! (Not the retro version.)
