    hi, i recently bought a 1998 ford f250 lariot and the four wheel drive isn't working. i turn the knob on the dash to 4hi and the 4x4 light comes on but still nothing. but when i shift into 4low in neutral i hear the hubs engage but still the whells don't turn yet the 4x4 low light comes on. any ideas what this is? pplease help me i live in ...     I have had this truck for, this is the second winter season. Because the lock out hubs are not marked, I cannot remember which way to turn the lock out for , in 4-wheel drive and out of 4 wheel drive. These are also very stiff when I try to turn them. How do I keep them from becoming so tuff to turn ?

    Help! I have a 1998 F250 Supercab. The dealer tells me the rubber bushings in the anti wind bars are worn out and need replacing. The problem is that the bushings are made as part of the metal assembly. The dealer also tells me that Ford no longer makes these anti wind bars. I bought the shop manuals when I bought the truck.
