I wonder if you ever figured that out because I am rebuilding an 04 chrysler and I can't figure out how to put a bumper on it. Did you have to buy a new headlight?

Concorde lxi battery problems?
Written by: sheena18 on Feb 3, 2005 8:46:10 AM
I have 2002 Concorde lxi with about 13k miles on it. If I don't drive the car for 4 or 5 day's the battery dies. The dealership is saying that there is nothing wrong with the car that would cause the battery to die or drain. Chrysler is telling me that I have a high performance car, and that it's meant to drive ~ not sit. I have been buying Chrysler ... Read More

Ignition problem
Written by: jesust on May 12, 2009 2:17:47 PM
I have a 2002 Chrysler Concord. Just recently had some engine work and it's running like great. It has over 110Kmiles. A problem that I've experience 3 times in the last 2 months has been that the steering wheel locks and does not allow me to turn on the ignition. Twice I unlocked it by "giggling" the steering wheel ( I think that did it). This 3rd time, today, it locked ... Read More

2002 concorde with 100k miles
Written by: cweston on Aug 8, 2007 3:23:09 PM
We have a 1999 concorde we bought used and it only had 80K miles on it, now has 114K....so, in my opinion, I think a 100k for a 2002 is quite a bit. I'd like to give some of our personal experience and what to watch for.....the engine of course as your last reply touched base on and I agree the 3.5 is better. But beware of the sensors---speed control sensor--when ... Read More

Catherine, alot depends on the engine in the car you are considering. Concordes came with either a 2.7l or a 3.5l engine. At this mileage, a 3.5l engine is a better choice in my opinion. Now there is absolutely nothing wrong with a 2.7l engine, but at this mileage, the previous owner would have to show me all service records for the car. The oil should've been changed every 3000 miles. ... Read More

astonishingly surprised
Written by: supplanter on Dec 5, 2002 8:45:17 PM
Today I stopped at a Chrysler dealer and took a glance at a Concorde up close for the 1st time (even sat in it and started it up). It was a 2002 LXi I believe but not sure. They were asking $17K for it with only 10k on the odometer. It had all the "hoochies" I have been looking for. Though my wife is not comfortable with the fuel economy, I'm ... Read More

Which LH series is most popular for 2002?
Written by: rrman on Aug 27, 2002 7:30:55 PM
I see LOTs of Dodge Intrepid's around, and notice more 300Ms than Concordes. At the Davis Monthan AFB Lodging parking lot last week there were 3 300Ms. The Chrysler dealers always have a 300M on the lot, but not always a Concorde. I favored the Concorde as it was cheaper and I didn't care for the $$$ and "chopped" off 300M trunk. But I'm curious as to how my tastes compare ... Read More

Replace tires on 2002 Concorde?
Written by: kendrasuejones on Aug 22, 2002 10:46:07 PM
Have a 2002 Chrysler Concorde LX, 2.7L, which is a jewel of a car. Runs & looks great, etc. The only complaint I have is that the tires are noisy. The car came with Goodyear, and since I will be taking an extended road trip soon, would like a 'quieter' tire. Have read that the Michelin or the Dunlop Sport A-2 are good. PLEASE, any suggestions of which tire will give ... Read More

Concorde Engine Problems
Written by: introuble1 on Apr 10, 2002 4:09:28 PM
Ok. Let me start by telling you that before the end of this story you will think I am an IDIOT. Well, I am. Back in 1999 I bought a 1999 Concorde Sedan. It was a farely good ride. Little noisy but ok. Changed its oil regularly. I left the country and while away my brother in law drove and cared for the car. In March 2001 brother took it in ... Read More

Today I test drove a 2002 Concorde Limited, in anticipation of the arrival of my new company car this May. I am impressed! Powerful engine, comfy seats, high quality interior trim, stylish looking, great stereo, nimble handling. This car handles like a much smaller car and the dashboard is one of the best looking I've ever seen. Negatives? Not the quietest cruiser, but not noisy either. Steering is over boosted. Questionable ... Read More

Owner of New 2002 Concorde
Written by: ronmac1 on Feb 18, 2002 5:26:18 PM
I just bought a new 2002 Concorde LXI and am very happy with the vehicle. I'm always been a GM driver and have had 4 Buicks previously. The Concorde runs well, rides great and recently delivered 28mpg on the first long road trip. I bought the extended bumper to bumper warranty (100k) and hopefully won't have to use it. I've heard horror stories on past Chrysler products and hope the bugs ... Read More

Question for owners
Written by: fedlawman on Feb 10, 2002 1:10:01 PM
The Chrysler website shows two different photos for the interior/dashboard of the Concorde. The dashboard shot shows a virtual twin of the 300M but the overhead interior shot shows a different, slightly bulging center stack. What does the dashboard of the 2002 Concorde actually look like? Any photos out there?

peva: I don't think they decontent. They add on one or two things each year and typically up the price a couple hundred. one of the main external things are the wheels. In my 99, the wheels are 15". From 00 and up, the wheels are 16". Steel on the LX, and alloy on the LXI, although aluminum alloy wheels are options on the LX also. I personally prefer the cloth ... Read More
