2005 Cadillac Escalade EXT 4dr Crew Cab AWD SB (6.0L 8cyl 4A)

At first I didn't even consider buying a Cadillac -- much less a Cadillac "pickup". But I definitely wanted something utilitarian, good looking, and well built. It also would have to provide a comfortable ride if I chose to drive it on out-of-town trips. Then one evening...just before the dealership was about to close, I walked into the indoor showroom of our local Cadillac dealership and....'voila'. The EXT really struck both myself and my wife as something to consider. Within a few days we struck a 'deal' (a little pricey, but fair...). Now we marvel at how close we came to our targetted goals in purchasing a new SUV-type vehicle. It's a neat package. If only everyone might want to buy one

Best Features

The utility, overall design, ride, drivetrain, and surprisingly good road handling.

Worst Features

Add an underbody skid-plate to keep the grass from dragging along when off-road and provide an 'extension arm' to help while washing this thing. It's too tall for us 6-footers to reach all around! Add an underbody storage 'trunk' in the rear, it would be more convenient than current design for suitcases, etc.
