Do you have access to a scanner to use while it's running to follow the input for the fuel injectors and the ignition? It could be a few cars have had trouble with ground on the end of the ISC under the coils. Clean contacts. But the other thing that comes to my mind is that 1994 and 1995 seem to have a few more reports than typical of PCM problems. ... Read More

Are you saying the miss wasn't there before repairing the oil leak? Assuming it was, my first guess would be spark plugs and wires. It should have the correct AC/Delco plugs or NGK equivalent (NGK makes the Delco plugs I'm told). You can check to see if the wires give sparks with spraying water on them in the dark from a mister bottle for plants, e.g. Or run a well-insulated screwdriver ... Read More

Sorry Mike. Believe it. I had a 1994 LeSabre that the tranny went out at 89,000 miles. Did just what yours is doing only your's lasted longer than mine. It cost me $1,800.00 to rebuild at a private garage and that was seven years ago. I've also had a tranny go out on a 1995 Park Avenue with 96,000 miles and a 1992 Riveria under 100,000 miles. Is this what your actuator looks like? this part is used in these cars in manual AC units. 1994 Buick LeSabre Custom AC/Heater Fan will not work.Manual control system. We took out the inside control the fan will not work. Mechanic had an old one from junk yard the fan worked but no other buttons worked on that unit, I bought a new fan control switch we put that in and it still did not work! You need to diagnose the code. Take it to an Autozone or Advance Auto or other place where they will read the stored codes free and the current codes and tell you what they are. Do not buy anything or replace anything until you post someone and someone knowledgeable tells you what may be the true cause. A light can be the gas cap not sealing, but it usually doesn't do ... Fast Idle and loss of Speedometer

I have a 1994 Buick LeSabre which has the following problem: In the morning when the engine is cold the car idle races exceptionally high and the odometer and speedometer do not work. Does anyone else have a pronounced whine coming from the alternator, noticible until you shift into high? You can hear each shift, whine goes down as rpm's fall. I had a similar noise in my 1994 but less loud. The alternator seems to be working ok. Has anyone installed a new or rebuilt alternator because of this problem and has the noise gone away.
