2017 Buick LaCrosse
It's five years old now and has 72,000 miles. Have never had any repair done for any reason at all. Has been completely trouble free since the day it rolled off the lot. Still has a luxurious smooth ride and extremely quiet on the road. Handles well and is a pleasure to drive. Still does 0-60 in under six seconds and runs fine on regular gas. I did replace the tires at just under … 60,000 miles. Still has the original battery and has never failed to start or even crank over slowly. But at five years old, I'll probably replace it (the battery) anyway just to stay ahead of the game. Acceleration is very good. It's quicker than a Dodge Charger V6, and just a bit slower than a Dodge Charger R/T with a 5.7 Hemi, so no complaints with the Buicks 310 horsepower V6. If I would have anything to complain about it might be that I've read that the Buicks 310 horsepower engine is actually the exact same engine that puts out 335 horsepower in the Camaro. However, by mounting the engine sideways in the front wheel drive Buick, the sharp restrictive turns in the exhaust manifold and pipes to route out the exhaust results in losing 25 horsepower. I wish they could have figured out a way to route the exhaust without the loss of horsepower. I wouldn't mind having that extra 25 horsepower! Gas mileage is about 27 miles per gallon overall, according to the computer in the instrument panel, with 35 to 40 mpg on the road, depending on terrain. Not bad for a big comfortable car.
