Cool, I still haven't seen any 2005s on the road. But I recently had to go to my dealer to get something fixed (I'll post more details in another post) and saw a row of 2005 RSXs on the dealer's lot. I'm not that hot on the new headlights and taillights.   So your dealer still has 2004 RSXs left over?! That sucks. I predict that Acura will remove the RSX ... Read More

I pretty much just got the Type S with all it's standard features...like the 17" wheels, moonroof, leather, better stereo (and it is better), spoiler, alarm, all the usual things. I ended up getting the splash guards afterwards which I would recommend getting if you enjoy driving a clean car as much as I do. The MSRP was 23570 so I really probably could've talked them down more than I had ... Read More

I actually like the look of our 02-04 rims better. Good for me I guess, heh.   Short review of the Turanza LS-Hs I got in September: so far, has lived up to high ratings from Tirerack. Great improvement over the MXM4s, very sticky (has dramatically improved my launch), got rid of the wheel hop in the rain, and very solid in the snow. Comfortable, and improved handling over the Michelins. ... Read More

My car is about 2.5 years old and 25+ kmi. I have DSM, which means I have the titanium color interior. It's holding up well and I do like it. Many think that black (ebony) is sexy, but IMO, titanium (tan/gray) is classy and clean. :) So how did you do in trying to sell your car? BTW, Edmunds recently did a follow-up review on the 2005 Acura RSX Type-S. It ... Read More

I just bought a 2005 Acura RSX Type-S, Vivid Blue Metallic for 23,100, before tax and plates. You might be able to get a few more hundred off, but I felt it was a fair price being it is a 2005 model purchased in September 2004. It is a fun car to drive. I recommend it. Good luck. Hope this helps people in the market.

I know that the new 2005 Type-S has 5-blade 17" wheels. This may sound like a stupid question but I want to know. On the pictures of the base 2005 RSX im seeing it with 6 spoke wheels. But on the Acura sight, they say it has 5 spoke wheels and in the build and price thing, it shows 5 spokes. I don't know if this info has been released, but ... Read More

Wendy, congrats on your 2005 RSX-S. Keep us updated on how it's treating you (and vice versa, LOL). Nippon, I also agree w/ you that the RSX seats are very comfortable and keep you in place nicely. Also, the crappy Michelin tires are pretty loud on imperfect roads. The engine can get loud when you hit 75-80 MPH. I just test drove the Matrix yesterday (Sat.). I have absolutely no interest ... Read More

Hey, congrats on joining the 5-figure odometer club. :) :( If Acura could do all those things we want (AWD, 2.2 L engine doing 240 HP, HID headlights, better sound system, and maybe power driver seats) for $25k, I'd consider that a very good value. My warranty runs out in 2006, but I don't think a major redesign will have been done by then. Acura will probably offer new/different colors and ... Read More

I agree that the extra 10 HP that the 2005 RSX-S will have will not be that noticeable since: a.) you need to rev higher (max HP is now at 7800 RPM vs. 7400 RPM that the 2002-2004 RSX-S have) and b.) the 2005 RSX-S weighs about 70-80 lbs. more than the 2002-2004 model. I'm not really digging the triple circles that Acura uses for the new RSX's headlights and taillights. ... Read More
