Loving the s60 I saved from salvage yard
This car was sitting for almost 2 years... With that in mind along with 230+k on it, this has been the best car I've ever owned.. I purchased the S60 2.5t awd for $1,000 with a blown engine and radiator. After the radiator and head repair, surprisingly the beast fired right up... Runs like a dream.. Best investment I've ever made.... My husband an I absolutely love it.. Body and interior look brand new...

3 Tome Winner
We looked at Mercedes C230 series and Lexus ES 330. There is no comparison in integrity and safety. The 16 inch wheel package adds to the great looks. The heavier glass is a surprising plus in quietness. Even without the turbo there is plenty of power. 100% satisfied with the car. The dealership, unfortunately has some service problems. I have never had a Volvo that didn't go 250,000 miles. I expect no less from this one.

volvo girl for life
I owned a S40 for two years and wanted more power, the s60 was it! the Volvo moto is correct. Volvo for Life. Once you have driven a volvo you will find it hard to ever go back to a honda! The s60 offers power when needed and comfort the whole way. Highly recommeded, body style is big and bad! if the HP of 204 w/ turbo is not enough plan on the ECU chip being released later this year, boosting to 304 HP!
What a fun car.
I had been drooling over the S60/V70R for a couple of years, and finally had the means to buy one. I could not be happier with the vehicle. It is fun to drive, and the performance is great.
Disappointed
The car is nice looking and safe, but beyond that I have not been impressed. The turning radius is terrible, it takes about 5 turns to get out of a parking space. The automatic key lock has a prolonged delay, and I find myself waiting for my doors to open and lock. The car makes noises when you turn left, and the dealer said "thats just what this car does". Brake pads are not covered under the warranty and they needed to be replaced at 15,000 miles. Overall not impressed with the Volvo, and would not buy another.
