Waited 2 years to decide on this!
Since the CC came out, I've been following every review of the car out there to make a decision. And yesterday I went and picked one up! Couldn't be happier and it was well worth the wait because I got a decent deal on it. Love everything about this car as I fell in love with the 2009 version when I first test drove it. The 2010 touchscreen addition gives the car a class although I wish it came standard with navi. Well worth the price and I get many compliments from friends and co-workers. This was my graduation present to myself and I couldn't be happier. If you're planning on getting this car, get it now because once the 2010's are gone you won't be able to get a good deal until next year.
First VW owned
VW CC is my first VW ever. I was falling in love at first sight. The design is so classy both inside and out. I hope VW overcame with the reliability with electronics. I've driven it for nine months and I still look forward to drive it every morning. Clutch seems more sensitive compared with Japanese cars. I stalled it more than I wanted.

good for the money
I bought the R-Line special edition of the sport CC. I highly recommend it. My last car was a 2004 Audi S4 which I loved but service costs were killing me. Not to mention driving a stick in chicago commute traffic was tough on my left leg. My father bought the luxury edition when they first came out and spent close to $40,000 for a 4cylinder. So I was amazed to see the Rline was available for $28,500. It has the leatherette which seems just as good as the leather, if not better. You just can't tell the difference. Standard heated power seats, blue tooth. Only diff between luxury is nav, sunroof(which only tilts anyways),auto temp. Still has large touch screen radio.
Good to be back!
I've owned several VW's in the past, none ever gave me any extreme issues. Gave Dodge a chance, good cars, just not for me. Had a 2008 Honda Accord that was absolutely great, reliable, fuel efficient, and loaded to the gills with features, and convenience. Having said that, I traded it in yesterday for the CC! Man, what a difference!! 1. Interior is gorgeous in the CC 2. Radio touchscreen, Bluetooth, are top notch. 3. No 5th seat! 4. QUIET INSIDE! The Honda, let the world inside of it with noise. 5. Handling, refinement, and quality is very good.
I'm back VW!
Traded in my very extremely reliable 4cyl Honda Accord EX-L W/Nav for a 2010 CC. I have no regrets... so far!! I've owned VW's in the past, and overall, they never gave me any extreme issues. The CC has a lot of power for a 4 cylinder. You can be up to 80mph quickly if you're not paying attention. It has very good road manners, seats are comfortable, gas mileage is also very good. I like the looks of vehicle's exterior, and interior is nice, although it is "leatherette". My Honda at least has real leather on the front, and bottom area's. Overall, I'm happy happy happy! Got it from Koeppel VW in Queens on Northern Blvd. Great people by the way! What's up Rosario!
Impressive ride
Had a Jetta which I loved, traded to a CC 4Motion. Wow, quiet, fast, nimble, and sleek in and out! Best VW I have owned.
So far so good..
It's good to be driving German again. The CC is comfortable, well behaved on the road, and quiet inside the cabin. Seats are very comfortable, and so are the rest of the creature comforts, I just wish it came with Nav standard. I've been wanting the CC since it first came out, and now I have one! Everyone stops and stares at it. The exterior is very unique, sleek, and beautiful.
What a car!
I was initially considering BMW 3 series or the Audi A4. They were way too expensive after adding all the features I wanted. So I decided to try out the CC. Oh my, was I in for a surprise. With less $ than A4 or the 3 series, I was able to get a fully loaded car with NAV and backup camera as well. This car looks awesome and rides and performs like a sports car especially in sports mode. Oh, did I tell you? I love it when people asks me, "what kind of car is that?". This car look much better than BMW 3 or Audi A4 in my opinion. Some people actually told me that they thought it was the Mercedes CLS. Puts a smile on my face every time I take it out for a spin.
Rekindled a lost love
I've owned VW most of my life and when I turned 40 thought I could do better and bought a BMW. Mistake. Always loved the CC and returned to VW. Love the look and the stares that it attracts. Very nimble, and responsive on the road (almost as good as the BMW). Very quiet interior, adore the design of the seats and the dash. Took some getting used to the DSG and reverse.
very sporty car
I traded my Audi A4 in last week for the CC and im glad i did , i love this car , i love the way it had handles on the the hwy and the surface street. I owned a VW Jetta a few years ago, but volkswagen really stepped it up when they brought out the CC. i love the Bluetooth and touch screen radio.
no regrets!
After all the negative comments and review about VW I had my doubts about ever owning one. I got a chance to drive my friends Jetta GLI and was very impressed. He never had any issues with the GLI and then I saw the first CC driving down the road and I had to have one. I bought the V6 because it was the only silver one they had on the lot. Now, 14 months and 27,000 miles later, it has been the best car I have ever had. Not a single problem, it has performed flawlessly. The dealer is nice, I bought a new Jetta Wagon for my wife 3 months ago. Even after owning it well over a year the CC looks absolutely gorgeous. I am proud of owning it.
Comfortable, Sporty, Safe and Classy
Make sure there are no oil leaks and that the transmission oil was changed at 40k or you will feel the transmission noisy and loose. Check for any cupping of the tires, because this model is known to cup the tires, as mine did, regardless of alignment. Otherwise, enjoy the ride, comfortable, sporty, safe and classy.

Not a good first car for a teenager
My mother had bought a 2010 Volkswagen Passat CC for my little sister in August 2022 with 106K miles from a guy who lives not too far from my family because my mom's 2004 Explorer is having issues with overheating. They were asking $8000 for the VW; however, it's a coupe version of the Passat which reminds me of the 1993 Mazda MX-6. Couple of weeks later, it has been leaking lots of oil and the oil pan jostled from the engine after hitting a speed bump. The car was towed to a Volkswagen dealer to have the engine diagnostic test for the leaking oil a month later. It turns out that the engine was no good and it needs a new motor. The interior has a few issues, including the sliding door of the rear cup holder and its plastic housing broke off. The seats were the most comfortable and it could be used in a sports car. It was a nice looking Volkswagen; however, the reliability isn't up to par with Toyota.

Poor interior design and performance
Purchased a new VW CC.It is very difficult to drive. When accelerating, you must be very careful in depressing the accelerator because if not done just right the vehicle will shoot forward too fast or bog down for a second or two causing a dangerous condition when pulling out into traffic. The dashboard is poorly designed especially the placement of the media buttons and phone buttons on the steering wheel.the air conditioning ducts are pointed down so you don't get the full blast of air when opened fully. This is the first vehicle that I have ever has that I am fearful of driving because of the performance of the car. I took it to the dealer and they said it was okay.not enough room for expla
Nooooooo
I purchased this vehicle used in 2012. I was excited in the beginning. It drove nicely, and the gas mileage was great on my daily work commute. I am an easy driver, and I took care of this car. However, I've had issues with the fuel pump, electrical, coolant leak, AC motor, trunk wiring harness, fuel injection, injection coils, the sunglasses holder broke, and the driver's side sun visor broke. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things, the list has been long! All repairs have been pricey too, with little sympathy from the dealership. From 2017 until Feb 2019, I have spent over $3000 in service, on top of regular maintenance. I would not buy another VW. Side note: the service department at the dealership conned my dad into $1000 in bs "repairs", when he simply took my car in for a regular oil change and tire rotation as a surprise for me.

2010 VW CC Automatic Trans
Love the car. It is fun to drive and I get complements everywhere. I paid 27K with everything except financing. Financing was 5.99% for 60 months.
Best VW Purchase So Far
I have owned four VWs and without a doubt, this is the best purchase so far.The performance is great and from past experience, I know that the reliability will be good as well. The trunk is massive and I can fit at least six bodies in it with room for luggage as well. I'm always being asked what kind of car it is and if it was expensive. It looks incredible. HUGE bang for the buck. Read it & weep!
This is a VW?
I've had this pocket rocket 2 weeks. My 3 previous vehicles were luxury SUVs. Got the CC because my wife is still thrilled with her 2008 Eos. This is one fine machine. Great design, inside and out. People think it's a Mercedes CLS. Tremendous acceleration from 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo. Great cornering. Excellent mileage. My choice came down to CC, Honda Crosstour and Lexus 350ES. No question, I made the right choice. Free scheduled maintenance for 3 years sealed the deal. With a different badge (Audi, BMW or Mercedes), this car would cost $10,000 to $30,000 more.
Piece of Junk?
I have had my CC for 7 weeks. 2 high speed balances, 2 regular, 2 new tires and the car still shakes at 55mph and beyond. Car shakes very bad going up hill. Worst part is that the dealership that sold me the car has a consumer rating of D- with the BBB and it shows because they charge me $60.00 to have a balance done on the car 1 week after the purchase date. The rear windows also leak and the blue tooth works only when it wants too! Thanks VW for selling me a LEMON and then not standing behind your product! Oh, the $150.00 you sent to try and make me happy, I will be using it tomorrow to have all 4 tires balanced for the 5th time!
Great car....BUT!
Have almost 20k miles on my CC. The car has incredible performance all while routinely getting about 30 mpg - have gotten as much as 38! However, there are issues when accelerating from dead stop which can be dangerous - if you don't press the gas just right, the car will stall or bog down on you for what seems like an eternity when making a left turn - DANGEROUS! Car has manual tranny, and yes I know how to drive! The car even sputters when holding the pedal steady and driving, so not sure if it's an issue with injectors/turbo/or computers or combination. I'd love to buy this car after lease is over, but if dealer can't fix it at next service, I'll be letting this car go - would be a shame.
My VW CC, 1 year 3 months, 20k, since
I've purchase my 2010 VW CC 2.0L Turbo Sport, 6M, brand new and here's what i have to say. I purchased this car simply because of its appeal and it has been a fun and reliable ride so far. I hadn't had any mechanical issues, just regular oil change, etc. Interior is quiet. Performance and fuel economy is sufficient just above 2k RPM. It has a lot of standard safety features that give me a peace of mind and it's one of those cars you just can't ignore. Great job VW designing nice combination of stunning design and sufficient performance.
thanks

Almost satisfied....
I purchased this car with 93,000 miles on it. I loved the style of the car and it drove really nice and was very comfortable to drive. However, I had it about three months and started getting check engine lights every time I turned around. I had two airflow sensors put on, ended up having an intake manifold replaced because of build up??? Check engine light still came on! I’ve had several people, decent highly recommended mechanics look at my car and we’ve come to realize that there was a vacuum leak which is now costing me about $1000 to fix. Probably was the initial cause of all the other issues. Trouble is no one could find it with The codes that were showing up. Anyway I really do love the car and I’m really trying to be happy with it although I’m not happy with spending all this extra money to keep it going. I realize cars get old and things break but I’m getting some bad vibes. Moving on optimistically.
