Wow Amazing
Worth every cent. I like the pwr seat height adjustment, give me lot of support for thy. Comfortable for the long drive. I wish the interior had a single had a option of Full leather in white color.
Switched from Accord - No Regrets!!!
I had driven Honda products for 15 years. When my 03 Accord was due for replacement, I found myself not liking the New Accord. Frustrated, looked at Audi, BMW and finally ended up driving away in a CC. The things that sold me on the CC over the others were the following items. 1. Bluetooth Intregration was perfect. Being able to see my phone book in the dash and the setup overall is the best system I've ever used. 2. Radio. Teriffic touch screen setup. 3. Seats. Best I've ever had. 4. Interior. Again, it made the accord look cheap. 5. Engine/Drivetrain. Fast and Effecient. 6. Build. Solid. I've had no problems in 16k miles. My Honda had several. In short, this a GREAT car!

not very reliable
Had to be towed to dealership after 6000miles, it wouldn't move when engine was running. Mechatronics attached to DSG transmission had malfunction and was replaced. Everything else is ok so far. The car performs very good and is fun to drive, gas mileage is good too. Wind noise is too much when speed over 60mph.
Will Keep you posted
Just traded my 08" APR stage 2 tuned VW GTI yesterday. That car kicked constant butt...This CC is totally a different animal with similar guts. This CC will get the APR tune this week and should be in the range of 252- 262HP for a APR stage 1 tune. I just love the looks of the CC and the Mercedes CLS...this is my Volkcedes! Will post more after the APR tune.
Get one
Went from a 2008 528i to the CC because of the economy but I have no regrets the VW is an outstanding value and has a great interior/exterior combination. I leased the car and pay only $319 per month with $ 1500 dow. My bimmer used to run me $ 650 per month with $3000 down!!! The cost, looks and included maintenance make this car the one to beat. Great job VW!
Best Car Under 30k
I was cross-shopping the Jetta TDI & Audi A3 TDI due to their fuel economy. But at the VW dealership I was drawn to the CC, as most people are. I have owned a BMW 325xi and X3 and prefer "driver's cars." The CC is definitely a joy to drive. The power delivery is smooth, yet it is fuel efficient. The steering is a touch light compared to my BMWs. Highway mileage 32- 36 and 27.1 overall after 2000 mi. The interior cabin is roomy and drowns out the exterior noise. The rear seat also feels spacious (although may be a little low for taller people). Touchscreen radio is fun to play around with. A great commuting/daily driver. Would be perfect as an "only car" if it could fit 5.
Waited 2 years to decide on this!
Since the CC came out, I've been following every review of the car out there to make a decision. And yesterday I went and picked one up! Couldn't be happier and it was well worth the wait because I got a decent deal on it. Love everything about this car as I fell in love with the 2009 version when I first test drove it. The 2010 touchscreen addition gives the car a class although I wish it came standard with navi. Well worth the price and I get many compliments from friends and co-workers. This was my graduation present to myself and I couldn't be happier. If you're planning on getting this car, get it now because once the 2010's are gone you won't be able to get a good deal until next year.
good for the money
I bought the R-Line special edition of the sport CC. I highly recommend it. My last car was a 2004 Audi S4 which I loved but service costs were killing me. Not to mention driving a stick in chicago commute traffic was tough on my left leg. My father bought the luxury edition when they first came out and spent close to $40,000 for a 4cylinder. So I was amazed to see the Rline was available for $28,500. It has the leatherette which seems just as good as the leather, if not better. You just can't tell the difference. Standard heated power seats, blue tooth. Only diff between luxury is nav, sunroof(which only tilts anyways),auto temp. Still has large touch screen radio.
2010 VW CC
I've owned this CC for 3 months now and I look forward every day to drive it. People are constantly admiring th coupe and most have no idea what model it is. Driving on the interstate with cruise control on will give me and I'm not kidding better then 41mpg at 60 and better then 35 at 70. The sound system is great and I would buy another one in the future as I highly recommend it to all my friends.
Simply the BEST
I have never owned a European car before. Now I can say that I will never own an American made car again! I have been driving GMC for the last 12 years - and every car had been in the shop for the same issue multiple times - the quality just is not there. The CC v6 is hands down the best car for your money. I looked at Audi, BMW and Lexus - no one had anything that compared to the CC in price, form or function. It has everything a guy could want in his new toy, I mean car!
What is it?
This car is beautiful both inside and out. I've had many people slow down to see the badge to see what it is or come up to me in a parking lot to admire this car. It looks and handles like a car that costs 20-30K more. The turbo-4 has exceptional power (scary power for a 4). It hugs the road and handles like a charm. No problem with pulling to the right like some reported with the '09. I'm afraid I know I'm going to get a speeding ticket because it rides so smooth and is so quick that it glides to 80 mph before you know it.
Nice Alternative
So far I would say this is an excellent automobile! I own a 2008 C350 and this is hands down just as nice. Good performance, fit and finish, and great fuel economy. So far averaging 27-29MPG mixed highway and city driving. Rides better than my MB. Very quiet ride and provides great view of the road, handles nicely. Love the turning headlights! Interior is very comfortable and functional, two tone interior gets great compliments. VW has done a great job with this entry level luxury car. I would definitely suggest taking a hard look at the CC if you are in the market for a great luxury car for thousands less then counterparts.
great looks at an affordable price
The car really scoots for a four cylinder engine. I find that I had to set the trip computer to warn me when I exceed 75mph because I would be doing 85 by the time i merged onto the freeway-different sound which is much quieter than my previous V6 VW GTI. Majority of my diving is on the highway and I can average 32MPG during my commute cruising at 73mph. Great standard options. Very easy to operate HVAC.
I'm back VW!
Traded in my very extremely reliable 4cyl Honda Accord EX-L W/Nav for a 2010 CC. I have no regrets... so far!! I've owned VW's in the past, and overall, they never gave me any extreme issues. The CC has a lot of power for a 4 cylinder. You can be up to 80mph quickly if you're not paying attention. It has very good road manners, seats are comfortable, gas mileage is also very good. I like the looks of vehicle's exterior, and interior is nice, although it is "leatherette". My Honda at least has real leather on the front, and bottom area's. Overall, I'm happy happy happy! Got it from Koeppel VW in Queens on Northern Blvd. Great people by the way! What's up Rosario!
Don't Hesitate
I have been absolutely pleased with my new R-line VW CC!! I didn't know about the R-line until I went and test drove the CC. I was very slow and meticulous in my recent car buying decision. I test drove the Audi A4, Mercedes C class, I also drove the Honda Accord V6 Coupe, as well as the Hyundai Genesis V6 Coupe. I walked into the show room and there she was...Black on Black, VW CC- R line. The R line is a package with extra base and body molding around the vehicles exterior to enhance the look-Not that it needs help. As soon as the wheels hit the road I was in love with it, especially when kicking in the Sports mode on the highway. this car was the best Overall that I test drove!!
Fantastic Coupe
For context, I am a spirited driver who likes the performance of a coupe and the convenience of a family car. I upgraded from an Acura CL to the VW CC. What a great car for the money! The CC is beautiful and sexy inside and out. People notice the car. The 2.0 turbo is really fuel efficient yet it is powerful and fun to drive (if the minimal jet lag bothers you the VR6 engine is phenomenal). The DSG transmission is the best I have ever driven. The V-tex simulated leather looks beautiful and is easier to maintain. Basically you can have an Audi A4 for less than $30K.
So far so good..
It's good to be driving German again. The CC is comfortable, well behaved on the road, and quiet inside the cabin. Seats are very comfortable, and so are the rest of the creature comforts, I just wish it came with Nav standard. I've been wanting the CC since it first came out, and now I have one! Everyone stops and stares at it. The exterior is very unique, sleek, and beautiful.
Best in its class as well as next class
VW has hit a home run with the CC. It has excellent Value For Money with std features you only get as options on other cars.
What a car!
I was initially considering BMW 3 series or the Audi A4. They were way too expensive after adding all the features I wanted. So I decided to try out the CC. Oh my, was I in for a surprise. With less $ than A4 or the 3 series, I was able to get a fully loaded car with NAV and backup camera as well. This car looks awesome and rides and performs like a sports car especially in sports mode. Oh, did I tell you? I love it when people asks me, "what kind of car is that?". This car look much better than BMW 3 or Audi A4 in my opinion. Some people actually told me that they thought it was the Mercedes CLS. Puts a smile on my face every time I take it out for a spin.
I love, love, love my CC
This car is seriously awesome. Handsdown, the best value in the market of a sport sedan. I was looking at the following 6MT vehicles: 2010 TSX 2010 BMW3 2010 A4 2010 CC The CC had the best fit-out inside, and the styling is seriously fierce. I am a SWF age 29 and people constantly stop me to see what kind of car it is. I only owned Japanese before making the change over to German, and I am highly pleased with my decision.
Rekindled a lost love
I've owned VW most of my life and when I turned 40 thought I could do better and bought a BMW. Mistake. Always loved the CC and returned to VW. Love the look and the stares that it attracts. Very nimble, and responsive on the road (almost as good as the BMW). Very quiet interior, adore the design of the seats and the dash. Took some getting used to the DSG and reverse.
Best vw
I have owned lots of vw from rabbit to jetta and passats but this car is above and beyond my expectations. smooth drive and very quiet cabin, no road noise at all . we took a road trip did about 80 mphs and got 31 mpg. used only chevron 91 octane. fit and finish is excellent and most people think its a benz. which i have to correct them.
Awesome, absolutely awesome
I bought it after reviewing a long list of models from various brands. The majority had bland designs and most of them look the same. The stylish and sleek design of the CC stands out from the crowd. The two-tone cornsilk interior is fantastic. The 2.0 T engine is powerful and the car handles extremely well and sporty. Once you drive one you will end buying it.
First VW owned
VW CC is my first VW ever. I was falling in love at first sight. The design is so classy both inside and out. I hope VW overcame with the reliability with electronics. I've driven it for nine months and I still look forward to drive it every morning. Clutch seems more sensitive compared with Japanese cars. I stalled it more than I wanted.
To Good-looking to resist
I had a 2003 Accord that was trouble-free and was planning to keep it for several more years. Then I saw the VW CC, read the reviews and comments and bought one.
Good to be back!
I've owned several VW's in the past, none ever gave me any extreme issues. Gave Dodge a chance, good cars, just not for me. Had a 2008 Honda Accord that was absolutely great, reliable, fuel efficient, and loaded to the gills with features, and convenience. Having said that, I traded it in yesterday for the CC! Man, what a difference!! 1. Interior is gorgeous in the CC 2. Radio touchscreen, Bluetooth, are top notch. 3. No 5th seat! 4. QUIET INSIDE! The Honda, let the world inside of it with noise. 5. Handling, refinement, and quality is very good.
Favorite Car I've Ever Owned!
I bought this car two weeks ago and I still look for reasons to go for a drive. I really do believe that it is the best car for the money. I did extensive research and test drove a Subaru Legacy, Ford Fusion and a Nissan Altima. The Volkswagen kept calling me back. It looks great and is simply fun to drive. Tons of power, good gas mileage (I get about 32 mpg on the highway and 27 mpg overall) plenty of room, and an unbelievable list of options even on the base car. As long as you can live with only fitting two in the back seat, I'd definitely recommend it.
Impressive ride
Had a Jetta which I loved, traded to a CC 4Motion. Wow, quiet, fast, nimble, and sleek in and out! Best VW I have owned.
I just bought the CC
I bought the V6 CC. It has loads of power and grips the road on sharp turns. The interior design is beautiful. It's all leather (2-tone) and has wood trim. I love it. The sound system is great. No complaints. And in spite of the power, it sips fuel. I think my old 4 cyclinder G6 used more fuel.
It's a great car for the price.
Its a great car for the money. 2010 sport includes touchscreen radio with SD card slot, ipod(option), blue tooth w/voice control, rain sensing wipers, auto lights, auto dimming rear view mirror. DSG is new this year and is cool. At slow speeds(i think), when you turn the wheel it lights up the outside in the direction you are turning the wheel. It's not the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) in the VR6 but it's kind of cool. You have to test drive it. It drives so much nicer then the Japanese cars. Plus it's so much more refined. If you go test drive one, bring your checkbook, because you will want to buy it.
very sporty car
I traded my Audi A4 in last week for the CC and im glad i did , i love this car , i love the way it had handles on the the hwy and the surface street. I owned a VW Jetta a few years ago, but volkswagen really stepped it up when they brought out the CC. i love the Bluetooth and touch screen radio.
Are you kidding me?!!!
This car is incredible! I can't believe all the car you get for the price! Plus, the 0.9 percent interest rate for 66 months is just way too good to pass up! For the price, no other car out there compares to this one. It puts Toyotas and Hondas to shame. The Mercedes C300 isn't even as nice as the CC. The Buick LaCrosse is a great ride that is beautiful inside and out but it is bigger than what I wanted. The CC just hits all the right spots!
no regrets!
After all the negative comments and review about VW I had my doubts about ever owning one. I got a chance to drive my friends Jetta GLI and was very impressed. He never had any issues with the GLI and then I saw the first CC driving down the road and I had to have one. I bought the V6 because it was the only silver one they had on the lot. Now, 14 months and 27,000 miles later, it has been the best car I have ever had. Not a single problem, it has performed flawlessly. The dealer is nice, I bought a new Jetta Wagon for my wife 3 months ago. Even after owning it well over a year the CC looks absolutely gorgeous. I am proud of owning it.
Love it so far
New in 2010 is the DSG auto transmission, plus I was surprised to get satellite radio with the new touch screen stereo and blue tooth as standard features. A $700 value in '09. Got at invoice plus a $289 dealer doc fee.
Great Purchase - No Regrets So Far
I have always been a VW fan since my '84 GTI that I never wanted to get out of. I owned a Jetta and Golf during the 90s while living in SF but moved away from the brand for about 15 years but found I needed something a bit more economical on the gas. I had gone in to look at the new GTI but found myself drawn to the CC. There really is no other car at this level in this price range. I've read the reviews - about a million times - and am a bit confused that no one has mentioned the jumpiness coming out of first gear - or maybe that's just my car? Been to the dealer to see if I had a transmission problem but again - maybe my car is an anomaly? Will post another message if it needs to be fixed.
Wowza.
Traded in my 2006 Subaru STI for my CC. I'm a certified car nut, and have always loved the exterior design of the CC. I talked the wife into a test drive, and that was it. Where do I sign? The 2010 CC offers the famous VW DSG gearbox. I wanted the 6 speed manual at first, but the DSG really is the best of both worlds. The gear changes are THAT quick. There is not another car within $20,000 of the CC that oozes so much style. The interior not only works from a functionality stand point, but it is simply gorgeous. It glides down the road effortlessly. I was looking for great looks, decent gas mileage, and a comfortable interior. VW hit this one out of the park.
Excellent Car - Worth the price
Nice features. 1. Blue Tooth (Call quality is very good) 2. Nice Leather interior 3. Frame less windows. 4. well designed Bucket seats suitable for long drive with excellent lumbar support. 5. Play music using your SD card( no need to carry ipod anymore)
Best of the Best
I have owned this car for only 4 months and I must say I have not driven a better car. I have had over 12 new cars over the years medium to high end and the CC is by far the best I have ever driven. The power is great and the handling is better then the BMW's I have owned. I look forward to driving this car every morning I go to work. As you can see I am very happy with my purchase and I will lease another one when the lease it up...
Best vehicle i've ever owned! Ever!
I had a VW Jetta prior to the CC and loved that car as well. This car is beautiful! It has everything I wanted and more. It is difficult to find an affordable car that has luxury and performance of this magnitude. A driver that has always owned a Lexus or a Cadillac would be pleased with the Volkswagen CC. The fuel economy on the sticker says 22 mpg city, 31 mpg highway. I am averaging 31 mpg or better, round trip, everywhere I go! The Multi Function Display (MFD) on the dash tells me so. And this is the base trim model (sport).
Super Car
Traded a 2008 BMW 328 with sport suspension, too rough riding also kind of "bunty" looking. Terrific improvement in comfort with the CC over the Bimmer, way better looking and still excellent handling. Also own an 06 MB E Class, far prefer the CC, have relegated the Benz to my wife. After almost 3 months zero problems, great gas mileage, a very positive experience, would highly recommend.
Good Mileage Doesn't Have to Be Ugly
The exterior is a head turner! Its a great design that's not going to be seen on every corner. The interior, after the initial shock of the two tone leatherette, grows on you quickly. Fit and finish is above average for this price range. The car is very quiet and the seats are very comfortable, more comfortable than my wife's MB E500 in fact. Stereo is fairly intuitive as are most of the controls. Getting a smooth start takes a bit of practice and remembering to "activate" the Parking Brake every time you park takes some getting used to. Overall, very pleased. Good mileage, great looks, a peppy engine and comfortable seats make it a winner!
LOVE IT
I have a 2010 without badging and I get more stares, looks and questions about this car...there are none on the road. I went from a 08 VW Jetta Wolfsburgh which was fun and sporty but this is sexy and luxurious and drives like a charm and smooth!
Cautious Shoppers
I researched this purchase more than any of the previous 18 new cars I have owned. This site and others were very helpful. My two week old CC Sport is a dream! First car that I liked better after two weeks than I did on showroom floor. Much better than I thought possible, NO BUYERS REMORSE so far. Quicker than I thought, challenged it over Thanksgiving on mtn. rd. and power and handling delivered way beyond expectations. Millage is better than sticker, about 23 city, 34 hwy. and people cant take their eyes off the car. If dependability is not a problem then this is the best auto purchase I have ever made. I hope this helps you.
CC
Just bought the CC in May 2010. I got the sport model with the 4 cyl turbo. I am pleased so far and have no regrets. The price was reasonable for such a well made car. It certainly is a head turner. I have had several people walk at the way across the parking lot to ask me what kind of car it is and always follow up with how nice it looks. I drove it for a week before my son explained the shift on the fly option. It is nice but would never really be used by me. As mentioned by others, it takes getting used to for the response at throttle start. It almost seems to have a delay. But after driving for a week or so you never notice it anymore. I would buy it again.
Cool Car
Always drove a Toyota. Bought my cc, have it for 2 weeks drives great, Exterior /interiors superb. Got lot of compliments on it.
Wow! Love this car!
In May of 2009 I leased a shadow blue metallic CC. This is my second VW. The first one I leased was a 2006 Jetta which I also loved. In October 2009 my CC was hit hard in the right rear panel and was totaled. I was impressed of how solid the car felt and how it took the impact of the accident as a SUV was the one who hit me. I loved it so much that I went back to the same dealership and said "I want the exact car in 2010 with the same options". The 2010 colors with two tone interior were exactly the same as 2009.I was so happy to get the 2010 CC back. People follow me into parking lots to ask what kind of car is this? They also love the blue color that has a purple hue in the sun.
Love it!
My first German car. I hesitated to get a VW but decided to give it a shot and took it for a test drive. The test drive lasted about 5 minutes. I did not need more. Absolutely love the car, the way it looks and handles. My only problem so far is dashboard reflection in driver's side window. It blocks the view in the mirror and is very annoying and potentially a safety issue. I search the web and no one seems to have this problem, so I guess my window is defective.
Update to Previous Posting
Just wanted to revise a previous posting I had made earlier in the year. Car had been experiencing jumpiness out of first gear and reverse, and seemed to hop forward when foot was off the accelerator. Sometimes would experience severe lag out from a dead stop. Problematic when merging in to on-coming traffic. Dealer replaced the Mechatronic unit after a 5 week wait for the part and it seems to have resolved any of my issues. Will sometimes experience the lag from a dead stop but not as severe and could be due to having the a/c on in the car. Overall, the car has been great otherwise. Part replaced has a dealer cost of around $1800. Retail would cost for you or I over $3000+.
Mecedes CLS Styling+ Audi 2.0T Engine
This car is an amazing value and fun to drive. The heritage of the car is Mercedes CLS "coupe" styling, the powerful/responsive Audi 2.0 Turbo fuel injected (same used in the A4), DSG transmission (same used in the A4-A8 lines), Deep bucket seats (like the older Ferrari's) and decent stereo. The car is very powerful and the DSG makes it a blast to drive. The car performs best on the highway where is gets an amazing 30 plus MPG due to it's 6 speed DSG Transmission and wind cheating body. The sound system is good and allows bluetooth and easy iPhone/Pandora integration. Price was under $28K, I'd get the extended 6 year/75,000 mile warranty. Finally, back seat leg room is far better than A4.
I Love this car
I bought this car after researching cars to buy for the past three years.I cross shopped it with the Acura TSX the VOlkswagen GTI and the Honda Accord. I needed a four door that was well built, a drivers car, comfortable, fuel efficient and under 29K. The car looks and feels so much more expensive than it is. I have the fake two tone leather, and the seats are better than my previous cars real leather seats. Excellent computer information system that allows you to customize everything from how long the lights stay on after you leave the car to what speed to remind you to slow down. The standard premium radio has excellent sound reproduction, works with ipod and supports Bluetooth hands free.
