2024 Chevrolet Equinox
Was not expecting this much from this car, based on past reviews. Nice ride, very quiet, no rattles or squeaks, and amazing technology. The driver information display is small, but I am impressed with its usefulness and ability to display engine functions. I now have 10,000 miles on the car, and I get 34mpg on the highway, and 30mpg around town. Not bad for AWD. This is quite a bit … higher than the 26/30 by the EPA and other reviews. The engine is has adequate power and has no issue holding speeds on the highway. However, the transmission and engine could be programmed better. For example, if I need a sudden burst of speed, the engine kicks into high revs while the transmission downshifts, and you do not get the extra speed you anticipate. All in all, I could not be happier with this car.
