For us, the R4P is our 2nd "new gen" vehicle, bought to supplement our 1st, which was a Hyundai Kona Electric. Really like the Kona, but its performance on slick roads is not good. As, or more, importantly, we wanted to maintain vehicle efficiency while eliminating the EV range anxiety and need for roadside rapid charging on long trips. The R4P satisfies those desires beautifully and is easily among the best cars I've ever owned. You wouldn't call its handling sporty (except for acceleration), but it is very comfortable for both city and highway driving. On the other hand, finding one that doesn't come with a multi thousand dollar premium added on will take time and patience.

Just got this SUV. It looks gorgeous. Drives smoothly, pickup is very good with lots of safety features . Like the apple carplay and wifi inside the car. Electric range is more than 42 miles

Major design flaw - do not buy!!!

I bought the 2022 Rav4 prime. I was loving the car, everything was great about it until last week I got a check engine light. Took to the dealership to find out the some wires were chewed off by mice. Apparently they use soy based wires that mice love to chew on and its a huge problem. Its $5000 to repair and it will probably keep happening again! This is a huge design defect and Toyota is still selling them despite such a huge flaw! Im gonna stay away from Toyotas until they address this and I recommend you do the same and spend your money elsewhere.

My Rav4 has been in the shop for 6 weeks after the dash went comepltely dark one day. The dealership said this has only happened once before...and it took 9 months to get the part to fix it! I just called them and now they have 2 Rav4's witht he same issue in their shop. So I am in a nasty rental while I continue to pay the loan and insurance for this vehicle. When it worked, it was awesome.

Love the vehicle. Hate the reflective nature of silver trim on dash in my mirrors. Does it have to be silver? I have a 2018 Chevy Volt. Getting 50 miles per charge. Would love for Toyota to bring their battery charge up
