Used 2003 Toyota Camry Consumer Reviews

CUP HOLDER-TERRIBLE LOCATION WITH SHIFT. ASHTRAY IN BACK -FOR KIDS? MY WINDOWS SPECIAL TINT BUBBLED UP. MY GAS TANK LID BROKE OFF IN COLD WEATHER.
I Love My Camry
After quite a bit of hunting & test driving, I chose a Camry as my next new car. The ride was nicer than the Altima or the Mazda 6. It was more comfortable than the Passat and the Accord. With the upscale interior and standard features, it's hard to believe I only spent 17500. The trunk is gigantic, perfect for luggage & groceries. The interior layout is nicely designed & the engine is quiet. For a more sporty look, I opted for the model with the rear spoiler. It's definately a family car, but the spoiler adds a bit of punch to an already beautiful exterior. I also test drove a few domestic mid-sized sedans and there was simply no comparison.
My Camry Experience
Actually the Camry sold me the first time. I was a hard core American Car only person.I drove a Camry just to see if what I heard was true. I couldn't believe how smooth, how quiet, how much fun to drive this car was. I went back to the dealer from the test drive, and bought it on the spot. I have purchased two more Camrys since that time. Ill be buying the Highlander before Christmas. Thanks Toyota.
review
nice car, my first one i bought.
Great, but flawed.
There is a intermittent noise in the dash. The Car has 20 more horsepower than the Mercury Sable it replaced, however seems to have less performance. Rear vision is poor with the spoiler. Love the spoiler, can't see over it.The brake pedal is mushy, but brakes are good. The exhaust pipe hangs down six to ten inches on every Camry I have seen. Looks very Tacky. I no longer have to look at Camrys and rebadged Camrys (Lexus) to identify them. I just look for the exhaust pipe hanging down under the rear axle.
