Used 2006 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
Avalon '06 Limited in Blizzard White
This vehicle is the ONLY way to travel. It has been hard to get but worth the wait. This is the best vehicle I have ever driven in any class or price arena. It offers the most for the least and is very unique creating much attention wherever I go. Love the power, style, comfort and economy. Do NOT HESTATE. :)
Amazed with this vehicle
I had 3 requirements - A/C seats, GPS, Laser Cruise Control. Laser Cruise is awesome, driver's seat cushion extension is dynamite, voice activated GPS is too cool, smart key is superb, I am averaging 31.4 mpg at 75 mph with A/C on --- can you beat that ? Plus 280 hp, 0-60 in 6.5 secs, 15.0 second 1/4 mile - UNBEATABLE. The Blizzard Pearl White with Ivory leather is absolutely gorgeous, I've had many compliments. Compare the interior dimensions on the new Avalon with ANYTHING out there and you will be sold. The A/C seats are superb and the 260 watt JBL stereo is outstanding.

2006 Toyota Avalon Limited
I've had my Avalon for 3 weeks and I can easily say it's the finest car I've ever driven. The engineers at Toyota USA did a great job designing this car.
First Time Buyer of Non-American
I debated whether to go with the Ford 500 or this. After driving both, there was no comparison, and although the XLS was significantly higher, I am glad I bought it. I have been a Ford/American car buyer for 35 years, and thought I would never change. But this car is super.
Would I Buy Again?
The Avalon is Toyota's version of a Buick. It is much improved over the prior models. The acceleration and economy are a nice blend. The car has great acceleration, for what it is, and the highway mileage is truly over 30mpg. The car has quite a bit of torque steer and can get squirrelly if you're not paying attention under hard acceleration. My opinion is it should have been a rear wheel drive. The car drives well. It's not to tight so it rides well but it's not like driving a sponge when cornering (like a Lincoln, Buick, etc.) Road noise is excessive but some of that may be the CHEAP quality tires the factory put on the car. The AC and heat are the best I've owned.
