Lexus w/o the price tag

The new avalon hits the mark of serious comfort and sports car. The new v6 has exceptional power. The interior design w/ computer display along with the hide-a-way stereo, cup, and cassette player just adds more of sleekness. The dual exhaust just says "come on and try to pass me"! The mpg is another big hit. You get a high powered 268 horse pwr engine that gets 32 mpg. Not to mention it only takes regular unleaded gas. In this day in age where gas prices are more than $2.15 a gallon that is a real perk. If you like luxury w/o the big price tag this is a car you can't go wrong with. It's also healthy to say the Avalon retains its value whole the better than other cars in the same market.

Traded a Volvo S-80 T-6 for the Avalon

My wife and I absolutly love this car. We traded a top of the line Volvo S-80 T-6 and do not regret it a bit. I/we can't say enough about the car. It rides great, handles well and is ALMOST as quick/fast as the twin-turboed S-80. the 12-speaker sound system is far better than that of the Volvo. Simply a great car!

Motor mounts broke

My mechanic said the motor mounts broke on my new Avalon last week. The car shook terrible and then wouldn't drive. It is still in the shop. I'm very unhappy with this car. Consumer Reports says Toyotas don't break down. Are they kidding? The paint on this car is almost as sad as the motor. It is very easy to scratch off on the front.

MY NEW LOVE

2006 Toyota Avalon Touring 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

I have driven Volvos, when I needed a new car I did research and rather than going back to my first love, I decided on this Avalon. I'm happy I got it, it feels safe, it is reliable, and is a very good looking car. Has all of the features I wanted, would have liked to have navigation, perhaps Toyota will add this in the future.

This vehicle is the ONLY way to travel. It has been hard to get but worth the wait. This is the best vehicle I have ever driven in any class or price arena. It offers the most for the least and is very unique creating much attention wherever I go. Love the power, style, comfort and economy. Do NOT HESTATE. :)
