This is no doubt the finest all around car I have ever owned. I just sold my Cadillac 2001 DTS and am buying my 2nd Avalon Limited. My 1st one was delivered 4/18.

Cannot beat it!

Purchased the Limited, could not be more happy. Ride, comfort, style, features, quality all cannot be beaten by anyone for the price. Love the keyless ignition, the a/c, stereo. We are only in our 30's and Toyota got us to buy it, the new styling, more room, and its a safe car. If you are in the market for an Avalon, you will most likely come across alot of people trying to put it down. There is good reason, Toyota has done it again, building a car that is above average, higher resale value, safer, and some really cool features that NO one else has. So yeah, its good to be the king.

2006 Avalon

Have just over 2000 miles since purchased, over half of it on trip to Florida. Gas mileage just about as advertised on the highway. Ride is quiet and smooth. Acceleration right on the money. Small complaint with windshield wipers leaving smudges on the windshield and hard to remove. Wiper action somewhat noisy. Have an annoying "thump" on acceleration and is more prominent with full tank of gas. No explanation from dealer, except do not think it is a mechanical or safety problem. So far, on the whole, pleased with performance and comfort. We'll see about reliability as time goes by.

Better than Mercedes

I have been driving a Mercedes for several years but this year, after test driving every big car on the market, I switched to the Avalon. This car is bigger, better, more luxurious, and more fun to drive than the Mercedes S class. And it is $30,000 less expensive! It is by far the best car I have ever owned. If you like the feel of a big car then you have to test drive an Avalon before you buy anything else. One of my friends who drives a Lexus said "it's nice but it's just a Toyota". But after he drove a few miles in my Avalon he sold his Lexus and bought one too.
