Used 2018 Subaru Legacy Consumer Reviews
Subaru won't fix recalled touchsceen
Although we have enjoyed our '18 Legacy, the touchsreen infotainment system has been a problem literally since day 1 (screen freezes rendering system inoperable). After multiple (3+) visits to dealer for recall mandated repair, the system finally started working again. Now, 7 years latter, same issue (frozen screen) returned rendering the infotainment system useless. Contacted dealer and Subaru Customer Advocacy and was told Subaru refused to cover repairs saying warranty expired. I requested goodfaith exception given this has been a well documented system defect and was told to pound sand. Given this complete lack of customer support, I will NEVER buy another Subaru. If they won'd support customers for such an obvious defect, be wary of any future issues which they will likely have a similar FU mentality towards their loyal customers.
