Porsche Bostwer Review
The 2008 Porsche Boxter is a great one person car that is fuel efficient and extremely comfortable. It is a great purchase if you are looking for a one person car.
Awesome Ride! Gotten Lots of compliments.
Best car buy I have ever made. The Boxster hugs the road to perfection. Smooth ride and gets plenty of compliments. I’ve driven it for 5 years now and it’s still going strong. No major repairs just tune-up and timely oil/filter changes. Looking forward to trade in and purchase a newer model.

Size Matters
I am a tall guy 6' 3" and have size 15 feet. I need to drive with driving shoes. The shin splints are not fun due to the vertical nature of the accelerator. Cruise control is a must! BUT, the car is a blast to drive and my wife would divorce me if I sold it. She loves driving it. I would give this a solid 5 but seriously, it would be a perfect fit if I were 6 feet tall or less. My son is 2" shorter than I, and he too could use more leg room and tilt to the seatback. It handles great, rev's happily and attracts the radar aim...even when going slower than the crowd. The only thing I hate about the car is the traffic in front of it. UPDATE: 2023. Still like the car, but the plastics are something that needs to be addressed. Frunks switch, door handle, cup holders, easily worn parts. I have fixed 6 parts on my car, the next is the window lift on the passenger side. 730 -950 quotes. All but on of these repairs have been due to plastic being brittle. It's never been a southern car so I wonder if those in the high heat zones find this as well.

Great convertible
This is a great convertible. A lot of value for money. Porsche performance in this relatively affordable vintage to purchase used. The 987 gen is quite attractive and has aged very well. Lots of improvements over the original 986. Handling and driving experience is great. It is not very powerful but can be exciting to drive. Reliability is good if well maintained. Maintenance/repair costs can be high. Don't expect a great stereo sound or fine cupholders. It is also fairly noisy at highway speeds, but otherwise quite comfortable and has good seats. More practical than it looks with the two trunks front and rear. Still one of the best sport cars out there after all these years.

Like driving a High Tech Video Game
This car is so fun to drive. It handles likes its on rails and sounds so good that I'm always turning down the $1000 upgraded Bose stereo down so I can hear the 3.4 growl. I love going anywhere now. Haven't said that in a while. This is my daily driver and with the traffic here in town chose the triptronic. I never thought that I would be saying this but I am so glad I went with the Auto. Its like driving a high tech video game. Flying around corners and shifting is a blast. I can also be holding hands with my date and still drive the car like it should be driven.
