You gotta' love it...
I drove my new 2015 for three years. No problems, no recalls; just fantastically cheap, reliable, comfortable transportation. I gave it to my "new driver" granddaughter and bought a new 2018 for myself. She doesn't need a TV screen, custom sound system, or three hundred horsepower to distract her. I sleep better at night.

It keeps on tickin'
I purchased the bottom of the line, base model with a 5 speed manual transmission and crank windows. Chose Versa for it's reliability. My son is still driving the Versa I purchased in 2009, which is still going with over 200,000 miles and only routine maintenance. The 2018 stops, goes, and cruises the interstate at 80 mph for hours, delivering 38 mpg (if I stay at 70 mph, it gets 40+ mpg). Heater and A/C are great. The sound system is a real bonus, hooking up to my iphone and playing my mp3 library, and the bluetooth works well on phone calls. I haggled and get it out the door for under $11k (plus tax,) and it is well worth it. Don't believe the unflattering review. I stopped believing Motor Trend when they named the AMC Pacer "Car of the Year" in 1975, and I bought one, and lived to regret it.

Best Value for the Price
Given this car doesn't have all the "bells and whistles" as our Nissan Rogue, I truly love driving this car! It's very responsive in drivability and I can't honestly remember ever owning a vehicle in this class that performed this well. Also, the dealership was professional and courteous...all the boxes were checked. Overall just an outstanding experience and will definitely go back for our next vehicle.

good car with manual transmission
OTD price of $10,600 in Feb 2018 for 5 speed manual 1.6s. That included everything. I am up to 54,000 miles with not one single problem. Don't mind the manual windows, but definitely miss the keyless entry. great back seat room. 45 mpg at 60 mph. 38 mpg at 65-70 mph. definitely shakes. Trunk latch has whacked me several time in the forehead with small bleeders. Shakes in heavy wind and you'll want to travel slower. About ready to replace oem tires before winter. cheap walmart high milage synthetic oil changes every 5000 miles. I can recommend the 5 speed manual. I would run from the cvt.

Dangerous at any speed
The automatic shift selector will slip out of park into reverse while powering off our Enterprise rental Had two accidents, Jan. 7 and 11th 2019. The car lurched into reverse and hit the cars behind us. Thankfully no child was behind us as this was in a school parking lot.
