Manufacturing problems
I bought the Rogue 2016 two months ago in Koppel Nissan in Queens NY, after the first two weeks the car started with a noise in front and back then I brought the car to the dealer and they told me that this Nissan Rogue has a manufacturing defects, more that two weeks and I'm still waiting for a call to fix the problem.

Not worth it
I leased the SV AWD TECH PACKAGE and it's awful... 5 time repairs in less than 6000 miles ... Two times less than 1000 miles... I hired a lawyer to take care of this bad experience... Very bad

Very happy
Went to local Rozen Nissan dealer and bought our first rogue awd. Very impressed with bang for your buck features . Awd and spaciousness for the price you can't beat. And our salesmen Eric was over the top. Great car great company!

Great multipurpose car!
I love my Rogue because it has enough room to fit pretty much anything. My mom owns a shop and we are constantly moving merch, so it helps to have a car that can fit everything in one load. The back seat is easy to fold down and the roof is generously high. The car itself is sleek as all heck; I put maximum tint on all of the windows (except the windshield) on top of the factory tint and it looks even more sporty than before. It doesn’t just look good, it performs great as well. If you are looking for a reliable car, this is it!

poor mpg
I'm getting 14.2 in the city 24 on the highway. Should be 23/28. I called Nissan no customer service. They do not care as long as the vehicle is running. I'm not alone. I found many others with the same issues. Low mpg. Nissan blames epa. But they use these numbers to sell Rogues

The only thing...
The only thing that is annoying is that there is no glow or light by the key ignition :( when you go to start the car you have to search for the key entrance which is very annoying. Other than that I just leased a brand new 2016 after returning my 2011 that I extended the lease 2 years and love it. The 2011 was great but the 2016 is quieter, rides better, handles better and feels like the older Murano. Outstanding as far as I am concerned.

Best SUV value for the money
I have owned the base 2wd 2016 Nissan Rogue since the Sunday after Thanksgiving 2016. I got a great deal, saved thousands. I have bern very happy with the mileage in ECO mode, the 2 highest on the highway being 39.7 and 43.9 mpg on 87 octane gas and it only has 4400 miles. The size is just right and the zero gravity seats are so much more comfortable than my previous Jeep. And no initial or any issues at all (unlike the new Jeep Renegade, which had me at the dealer every other week and had the most uncomfortable seats I have ever experienced). The handling, acceleration, CVT and visibility are great for me and there is nothing that would prevent me from buying this car again. For a base model, I am getting a lot for my money and I am very happy with my purchase.

The CVT Is The Kiss of Death...
I just put 500 miles on a 2016 S model rental in southwest Florida. It had just 3000 miles on the clock. The positive: The A/C provided plenty of cool, quiet cooling. The engine was smooth at idle, even with the A/C engaged. Plenty of room for 4 checked pieces of luggage. The doors provided easy entering and exiting. The satellite radio reception was very good. Wind noise was minimal. The dash layout was good, with easy to reach controls, easy to read gauges and easy to navigate trip computer & settings. The 12 volt outlets were powered with or without the ignition on. The LED daytime running lights are sharp looking. The leg room front & rear was very adequate. The minuses: The 'snowmobile' transmission always caused the engine to drone loudly during normal acceleration. At around 40 mph the engine would bog down. The 'sport mode' surprisingly made it worse, even with the driver only. The firm front & rear seats were uncomfortable after 25 miles. The space carved out of the dash by the ignition switch made inserting the key difficult. The outside temperature reading was always off 8-10 degrees. The speakers were very weak, even for a basic model. The passenger side wiper arc was small, missing about 25% of the right side windshield. With the cruise control engaged a slight incline caused the engine to drone loudly. The halogen headlights were just so so bright. When opening the front doors one's hand would hit the lock button, a potential problem if the key was still in the ignition. Did I mention that dreaded transmission? If this represents Nissan's auto drivetrains I will never rent one again, let alone buy one. Just mine and my wife's 2 cents' worth...

Back up camera a joke
I find the back up camera to be almost useless, there is a green tinge to the screen in daylight, and at night the sreen is awash in white light that it is unusable. Other than that I give a high marks for it's fuel economy, 33mpg on the highway and 27.5 in local driving. The instruments are all conveniently within reach and id laid out very well. The ride is like being in a 2014 Honda Accord, not that it's that good but because the Accord had a choppy ride and was not comfortable at all. All in all Iam pleased with my Rogue and would check it out again when I'm ready to purchase I new vehicle.
