An amazing, reliable, and fun car

All around, the best car I've ever owned. I got this car my senior year of high school, with 135,000 miles on it. As you would think, I was scared to death that with all the miles, the car would always be in the shop. I was wrong. This car never had ONE problem with it. Took it back and forth to college for a year as well (140 miles one way). Car is so fun to drive, accelerates fast, and isn't a bad car to drive on long trips. Only downside is the lack of room, but if you're buying a convertible, you would expect that. Had to take the time to write a review on this car, because it never let me down, and was the best car ever. You WILL NOT regret buying this car. Loved my z!

Purchased a 2005 Z Roadster Enthusiast with 91k miles. It was in good condition (better than most I saw). The performance/engine are in excellent condition. My husband is doing some interior work. This car will look new come this weekend. I LOVE THIS CAR! I have never owned a Z. I hated driving, it was something I had to do. Now I drive for no reason at all. I never imagined a 9 year old beauty would make everyday so much better! Even at it's age no one can guess how old it is. They stare at this car! It's Chrome Silver Metallic with the burnt orange seats (love those). The speed, handling, appearance, EVERYTHING is 5 plus stars. Get ready for compliments. One of the best made cars EVER!

Love the Z. It load, firm, fast, and fun. I commute in mine every day 60 mile each way. I get an average of 28 mpg, I have seen 31 mpg on the freeway and 19 around town. I have owned Mazda and Mercedes roadsters and this is by far the best. Others have complained of blind spots. I have none, you just have to set the mirrors correctly. I will buy again.

I bought my Nissan 350Z Roadster Convertible just a few months ago and I love the exterior. If they would leave the exterior alone and focus on making a high quality/high tech interior, this car would be above and beyound for what you get. The 280hp engine is awesome. I get from 0-60 so quickly that I blow everyone else around me away and leave them fading into the background. The only con I have with this car is the quality of some of the interior materials. The leather is crap. The interior design overall is boring. I hope when Nissan comes out with its next version, they spruce up the interior and do minor modifications to the exterior. Nissan keep up the good work!

This is the first time I have experienced driving a Z, I am in total awe of its performance and handling. I bought the Ultra yellow Roadster, it has every head turning. The six speed is awesome, the clutch and shifting makes the driving experience wonderful. The leather seats and all the extra accessories makes driving the car a better experience. I would recommend anyone that is looking for an inexpensive sports car, go to the nearest Nissan dealership and test drive for yourself. Then you will get the ultimate review.

'Z' Be Nimble......by Marcus

This is a nimble machine, which you can tell has nearly perfect weight balance. There is exhilirating performance but I am not going to say there isn't room for some minor improvements. Second gear in this car is a total joy, I would like to see a higher redline and the shift points set a bit differently. This probably has one of the best and most consistent power bands of any manual car I have ever driven. Unfortunately, it doesn't take much effort to exhaust this car's limitations in gears 1 thru 4. I get more compliments on this car than I can count and thoroughly enjoy driving it around with the top down. The short wheelbase is surprisingly not a problem except at high speeds.

In the past 10+ years I've had the opportunity to own some really great high performance cars: corvettes, mercedes, BMW's. This little Nissan is by far my favorite car of all time! It fits me like a glove and is a blast to drive! In a few of the other 'high performance' cars I was not as comfortable with the drive or the performance. This car truly feels like an extention of me. It also attracts some attention which is always fun! I love the fact that I see very few other Nissan 350Z Convertibles when I am out ~ and there seems to be a corvette or BMW at every corner. It is really fun to drive something that looks and feels 'special'. I plan to keep this car for a very long time.

I never thought I would say it...AWESOME! I have never had more fun driving a car. I got a great deal (saved $20,000.00) off the price of a new one. Test drove both and could not justify the price difference to buy a new one. This car has it all. Pleased and in my favorite color...RED!

I have had the center dash in my 2005 Nissan 350Z replaced nine times. The radio has been replaced three times and I'm waiting to replace it a fourth time. The windshield wipers have never worked correctly and the brakes have made funny noises since I've had the car. The worst part of all of this is the customer service from Nissan. They have been very rude and very hard to work with. When the car worked properly it was fun to drive. But that was just for a short time. I will never in my life buy an Nissan product.

Fun car to drive on back roads, esp. along the Calif coastline. Just be aware of maint costs. I drive it easy, only 7K a year, and still replaced 6 tires, tranny, the top, clutch pedal, clutch and flywheel. Clutch chatter is embarrassing! But, she has power and hugs the roads nicely. Stops on a dime and accelerates briskly. I think the traction control is about to go--what happened to Japanese engineering? Oh and subwoofer failed twice (note I owned 2 other Nissans but not sports cars and loved them)

I looked at 4 05 z's at 4 dealerships. They all had a tear about 6 inches on the driver side. I figured I could just tape it for now and get a new top in about a year. I also used it as a negotiating tool. 10 months of owner ship and the tear grew to over a foot. I sewed it but two other rips appeared in the back a few months ago and continue to grow. Professional replacement $2000 The worst is the oil issue. I have to either oil change every 1100 miles or add another 5 quarters to get by to 3000. It appears oil is getting into two of the cylinders. It destroyed two spark plugs. If you car blows out heavy smoke when you crank it don't buy. Nissan does not back up their products.

As a pilot and a driving enthusiast I find the Z a perfect sports car. The suspension is tight and the handling is extremely responsive. I can max perform the car and still feel totally in control of all parameters. The engine performance is so very impressive providing a smooth torque curve and extremely quick response. The troaty sound of the exhaust system keeps you informed of the engines performance but most of all it just sounds great! I considered the BMW Z-4 but the styling of the 350 is better and the cost is $5,000.00 less with equal or better performance.

I bought my Z used with only 6800 miles on it and got a great deal. So, the price/ performance ratio is fantastic. Heads turn when I drive this, people even stop me in parking lots. People pull up in Porsches wanting to race me, I just tell them my car looks better than theirs. The engine is great, get the KN air filter and release the horses to 290. The pedal to engine response is tight but the tiptronic shifter could be more responsive but the handling of the car is smooth and flawless. Being 6'2'' I fit perfect into these racing type seats, if you are 6'5'' and above get the G35. The layout of the interior is highly functional and easy to use but needs a little flash.

Great car. Only problem was motor on window failed at 18 months. Dealer fixed it under warranty. Love the convertible, sounds good w/ good acceleration. Easy to damage or scrape front end on curbs, etc. due to low front end. (Part of the appeal of this car, but something to be aware of). Aluminum hood can be damage easily just by leaning on it, or in my case damaged by hail. I understand it saves weight, but again, something to be aware of.

Bought this car in early 2013, with 130k miles. A lot of miles, but the car looked too good to give up. Had it for almost 6 months already and nothing has been wrong with the car. Accelerates fast, great bose stereo, and overall a super fun car to just haul butt in. Get a lot of compliments on it as well. Great car for the price!!

I bought my blue roadster about six months ago and it's been fun to drive on the back roads of California. Amazing how steady it is above 100 mph, but frustratingly heavy clutch at road speed. Handles great and most of the Z's gremlins have been fixed under warranty (buzzy shifter knob, rattling axle bolts(!?), failed air bag sensor, etc).

I like virtually everything about my 2004 Nissan 350Z Roadster. The only things I would change are the color of the clock/radio display numbers in the daytime and the oil dipstick, which seems overly difficult to get in and out. I get compliments and admiring looks everytime I drive the Z. It is especially fun with the top down, but has been very warm and snug with the top up in bad or cold weather. The performance is superb, with remarkable acceleration and excellent braking. The paint, fit, and finish are excellent, and the fully automatic top raises and lowers flawlessly. This is one of the best looking cars to hit the market, and could easily sell for more than the sticker price. Superb!

Looks better with the top down. 156MPH more than anyone should use; but very fun to drive. Handles like a true sports car should. Off the showroom floor just a very hot car!!!

My new 2005 350Z Grand Touring Roadster compared to the 2003 350Z Touring I traded in is going from sweetness to heaven. The original 2003,serial number was in the 3700's, had it's obvious opportunities. Nissan Corp handled the tire issue, the window grease issue and a leather seat issue with flawless professionalism. Knowing this, and having experienced the cars performance and style gave me the confidence to go for the Roadster. Black on Black with the Brembo breaks the top down... 1st Class.. Black tie look.

This is my third Z and I am more impressed each time. I've had a hardtop, T-tops, and now a convertible. I absolutely love it and can't wait to until the next time I can take it for a spin. I take the long way home just to make the experience last longer. My Z totally makes my day and improves my mood after a long hard day at the office. I actually can forget about work once I get in. It's fast and fun. Taking corners is a blast! It absolutely rocks! So much thinking has gone into this car. Get the GPS, especially if you are logistically disadvantaged! The stereo is impressive. It's beyond an incredible value. At this price point, it's a major steal!

I love our new Nissan 350Z!! I still have and cherish my Nissan 280Z, but I knew when I saw the 350Z I had to have it. I have the Sunburst color. My husband added 18" Pirelli tires with NISMO rims. We also added a clear polymer bra to protect the front of the vehicle. This vehicle is a JOY to drive. It is quick and easy to manuever. People are alway commenting about it and looking at it, young and old. Its style is way ahead of the game.

Well, I sold a '65 GTO and bought this one. Does that speak volumes? The fit and finish inside and out is very good. No rattles (roadster),power top works perfectly and fast. The car IS quick ... as fast (0-60) as my Tri-Power GTO. Also, it perform's just fine on REGULAR gas! I've taken out new Honda Civic's with after market additions on them. I love to see their face's when they finally come along side me to see a SENIOR CITIZEN has "flashered" them! They usually give me a "thumbs up"

I am 55 years old, and always had a second car while a teen and into my late 20's! A go to school model, and a sporty car, including a GTO (1969) and a Cuda' 1st one off the assemble line! Well, I took a hiatus and just got my new 2nd car....wow!! This car is pure dynamite. I live in South Florida, and when the temp is cool enough, I pull this baby out of the garage, and can drive all night with my now balding head enjoying the cool breezes. The radio is unbelievabe, the handling is great, and the ride is pure delight!!! The price was great, and the thrill is better than that!!
