I have owned this car for 7 years and put it through 80,000 miles. My 3000gt has been mechanically reliable. There aren't many cars on the road that look as good the '94-'96 3000GTs. I love my car.
Never buy another Mitsubishi

I've never had a sports car with so many problems. I bought it in 98 with 56K miles. In first month had to put in 4 new brake calipers. In 6 months the auto transmission went up . Thank God I bought an extended warranty, it cost $4K to put in a new one. I've owned Porsche's, Fiats, Hondas and they all handled better than this car. It even hydroplaned on wet roads, I was afraid to drive it. Just traded it in and was never so glad to get rid of a car!
