Disappointing
Don't Buy. Originally our salesman, Ryan George in Palm Harbor, Florida mentioned the mileage would be about 65 miles per gallon and that was also in the advertising. This was appealing to us as I do a lot of driving in my business. So we traded the Countryman we had just purchased for the hybrid. The mileage is much less than expected or advertised. So far, in less than 1,000 miles, 38.7 mpg. Even fully charged, the battery gets less than 15 miles before switching over to the engine. Very disappointing. We are going on facebook to see how many other people are having these results and if we come up with 100 or more, we may bring a class action suit against Mini Cooper/BMW for false advertising. I am a little embarrassed too, as I told a lot of clients and friends that I was going to do this because of the mileage as well as the overall appearance and performance of the Countryman, so with such a disappointing performance, I really can't justify the investment.

Used to like it more
Bought this as a third car to get around town and take the dog, so this is not a show car. I do get great gas mileage, but the overall maintenance is much greater than I had anticipated. I acquired the car with +/- 28000 miles. The battery when dead a few months later but fortunately is was under warrantee. I do have to travel about 2 hours to the closest dealer so that was a bit of a hassle. At +/- 36000 I took it in for required maintenance, oil change, etc. I was informed that the right front motor mount had broken. WOW! It's not as if I abuse the Mini, but really drive it quite safe and sanely. I have treated my Corvette a lot worse and have not had that type of issue. The dealer said this was a commonly known mechanical failure in BMW's and Mini's. He even showed me a box full of broken motor mounts. So I'm wondering what else is going to surprise me next. This is an update: I've not had any additional trouble and things are going okay. This vehicle has turned into the daily driver for all sorts of things but especially taking the dog for walks, hoping, etc. Gets good gas mileage and handles well. Winter is approaching so if like the last I have no fears of driving in the snow.

Fantastic Sporty Luxury SUV
Bought a CPO 2022 Mini Cooper Countryman JCW All4 off a two year lease. I owned a Mini Cooper in the past but this one is absolutely a fun and fast luxury compact suv to drive and ride in. Being a 4 door and having AWD make it a family car as well as a sporty vehicle to drive. I have had many people notice it and have referred a lot of them to the Mini Dealership. 4.2 seconds 0-60 plus a dynamic suspension make this vehicle just a joy and plain fun to drive. The 4 cylinder twin turbo in the sport mode make the acceleration unbelievable. The front sport leather seats with power and heating are the best I’ve ever sat in. Navigation, Sirius HK 12 speaker HD radio, Apple Play, and sizable circular display make this vehicle awesome. I am 70 years old and I will purchase Mini’s until I can’t drive anymore. Congrats to BMW for making a vehicle that is not only fun and fast to drive but gives an “old man” enjoyment and excitement to look forward to on every drive.

Great car
High quality, strong, fun to drive. Expensive, but I'm okay with it.

Do not buy this car!
Don't buy a mini, we are very disappointed on the quality of our car, my wife got a 2019 Countryman lease with option to buy, we pay about $650.00 monthly for it, she drives to and from work so it's about 2 years 8 months since we got it and has 62,000 miles , right about 60000 miles the sunroof cable that closes and opens the sunroof broke and since it had 60k miles when we took it it was out of warranty! And was $850.00 to repair it, took it to service and was told it needed new motor mounts 2 of them $1,500.00 plus we already replace 4 tires and we need to replace them again, replace all brakes and 2 roots I don't even remenber how much it was and now I've had to jump star it like 5 times In last 2 days, you can't get the battery anywhere because it's a new mini, call dealer so the closest appointment it's 7 days from now. Worst car Company I've ever dealt with, even with what I knew before I never though it will be this bad, really hopes this help somebody not make the mistakes we did.
