96K miles used M6 turbo S
Most recalls were covered by a dealer earlier. I haven't hears about any car in the US with front bearing going bad at 11K miles (maybe Ukrainian Tavria ZAZ which I used to have). Replaced rear bearings, K&N filter, cabin filter, 4 links, used 5W30 recommended oil. Car had many electrical Codes but it's gone after replacing light bulbs to stock (Walmart) types. Dealer is friendly but their prices for everything is racketeering including a new hatch for $42,000 MSRP in 2023. I paid 10% of that for S model. My only advice is: don't pay too much for this car and use 5W30 oil.

Its still fun after 200,000 miles
I bought the r56 base brand new. I normally do all my own maintenance, but living in the city I was very lucky to find a great dealer. Mini of Camarillo, Mini bought them out to decreases dealers, ugh, the did the first 100,000 worth of maintenance. Travis the service manager was awesome. I keep waiting for the car to die, then I realize its something i missed, like spark plug changes every 40,000 to 60,000 miles. All to say, I have had a great experience. I was told the nonturbo lasts a lot longer than the S version. If you read the other reviews, you will understand how I drive the car because I get 34 to 36 MPG, but I have lots of fun. I do my own maintenance, its easy.
