2003 SLK32-AMG My Silver Bullet!
127K miles now, no problems at all. Car was in Tempe AZ until Spring of 2019 when it was moved to Sandpoint ID. This car is very fast and handles like a high end go cart, sticky, real sticky but I have great tires too. I’m a Porsche guy but I think I’ll keep this car in the family. It will be a great car for my daughter but she needs to be old enough to have the maturity this car requires, definitely not for high school or even college aged folks for the most part. Most of them would destroy the car by wrecking it. It doesn’t take much to start driving this car irresponsibly because it’s do damn fast. First time I punched it and held it in Monument Valley passing a car doing 60 mph, I went from 60 to coming up on 130mph in seconds, I didn’t touch the brakes, just eased off the throttle and came back down easily. The speed this car has is awesome, no problems except for minor things. I love this car and the best mpg that I’ve been able to achieve is 29mpg on long straights utilizing neutral when possible. Btw, I’m 6’-3” and 180 lbs, I fit in this car fine but any taller and forget it. Long road trips, like 2K mile road trips and I was comfortable the entire time.

High Class Pocket Rocket
I bought an original owner 2003 SLK32 AMG two years ago with 42kmi on it and put another 5k on it so far. I've put new smoother/quieter tires on it and had a few things changed (engine and transmission rubber mounts, new OEM rear discs, calipers and pads, etc.). Had an ignition (steering assembly) issue but had it fixed. Touched up the peeling interior paint areas myself (with German paint). Along with my dyno tuned 2013 WRX, this is the best car I've owned (have had 22 cars, I'm 77). Goes like the wind, traction control keeps me out of trouble coming out of corners and top down cruising here in SoCal is the best. Body is near perfect as is the leather...people are surprised to see that Benz had this small AMG "back then". Love it.
