2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class SUV Consumer Reviews

Great Cross Country Machine
Moved. Drove from Texas to Maine, from flat lands through the Appalachians along the way. The car was packed, except for a narrow slit to see out the back, and all back seats folded down. Quite a bit of weight, though we did not trailer or carry anything on the roof. Few vehicles remain enjoyable rides like this, but the GLS 450 was a champ. Road-ability solid, driving comfort exceptional, noise-level low, low, low....and visibility in heavy truck traffic made for a safer trip. Nothing phases this SUV, with lots of horsepower to sustain speeds on long grades. This is my third Mercedes; having owned an E320, 350ML, and now this one. Bigger is better for long drives. I will always own a GLS as long as available. Cost maybe high, but money is relative when you're driving long distance road trips.

Engine oil consumption
Bought a brand new engine and having to go thought replacing engine under 5000 miles definitely a lemon
