2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class SUV Consumer Reviews
Pricing
It's a nice car but it's not perfect.
The gls 450 is slow to pick up speed from a stop. It's quite noisy on uneven surface. It's bouncy on bumpy roads. Lot of tire noise coming into the cabin. The only time I get to enjoy the car is when it is on a smooth road.

Nothing but problems
We purchased a 2024 GLS 450 six months ago. There is wind noise while driving that sounds like a swarm of bees in the headliner, the transmission is very jerky on downshifts (it feels like you have spiked the brake), the check surrounding sensors go off all the time in traffic, the lane assist sees tar strips and old line paint in construction zones and wants to force you into other lanes or the old non existent roadway, the seat settings and temperature control settings do not stay programmed when you turn off the SUV. All of these items are annoying and some are safety issues. What does Mercedes say? The SUV is performing as engineered, this is Mercedes Quality. This is the most disappointing $105,000 vehicle there is and the dealer is not interested in fixing it.

Quickest Breakdown Ever
I purchased a new 2024 Mercedes GLS 450 over two weeks ago from a local dealer. Drove it 2 miles and the engine warning light and the hybrid/starter/generator light both came on. The manual said take to the "work shop" so I took it right back to the dealers service department. The engine warning was faulty air intake manifold which requires parts from Mercedes and they don't have them all. The hybrid issue can't be assessed because the car won't start until the manifold's repaired. No idea when the car will be fixed. If I had it to do over again, I'd steer clear of a Mercedes Benz. Buyer beware...
Outstanding
Purchased new 2024 GLS 450. The ride was outstanding with really comfortable seats. The GLS has one of the best 3rd row seats available for space without being an enormous vehicle. The nav is better, the cameras are out of this world and all of the tech seems to work better. We couldn’t be happier to be back in a GLS and Mercedes has really outdone themselves with this SUV.

"Bennie" truly the S Class of SUVs
"Bennie" as my wife calls our 2024 GLS580 is everything you could ask for in an SUV. We've driven a little over 15K miles in the first year. The GLS is extremely comfortable, both in town and on the road. The 500 hp is probably not needed, but truly appreciated. Overall quality is excellent, just what we expect from M-B. The only negative are the stock tires in winter driving conditions, as evidenced on our first outing on an icy road. There is a very limited selection available in winter tires, especially with the front and rear wheels being of different sizes. A four pack of Blizzak tires on a set of aftermarket rims gave the GLS the traction it deserves. This one negative aside, we are very impressed and satisfied with our 2024 GLS580. Highly Recommend

MB of Clearwater fixed my rough shifting transmission. All is now well and I couldn't be happier with my car.
