Great car to drive, especially with the 4 wheel drive. Very comfortable. Could use more horsepower.Compared with the Cadillac Seville STS I drove befroe this car, the C 320 is heaven to drive. Only two problems right off the factory floor: License plate light did not work, and airconditioner leaked coolant. Both were repaired after (unfortunately)several visits to the dealer. No problems since.

Regardless of what the Edmunds report finds, this car was hands down more luxurious, roomier and better designed than the Audi A4 and the Infiniti G35. The body is distinctive and the ride tighter and still fun. A great car.

I am very disappointed with this new C- Class and the customer service. This car drives worse than any vehicle I have ever owned. It constantly pulls to the right and the service department only argues over every issue. I got a SRS INOP warning light that said drive to workshop immediately and called the service department and they said no big deal. The next time you bring it in we'll check it. I had to call roadside service because of a blowout on the right front tire and the lady at the 800 number said the car should not be driven at all with that warning light on and they should have towed the car immediately, which only had 3,000 miles on it. They had to replace the drivers airbag.

I had driven this car for over 10,000 miles now and this car is fun to drive, responsive and best of all, I get about 24 miles per gallon. On rainy days, I felt that I am much more in control with the 4-Matic and would get another Mercedes for my next car.

It is a small car. But I love driving it. And to me , it is one of MB most appealing designs. Need something a little bigger for the pups like the GLK350.

Mercedes has created a look in the C- Class which still holds distinction. I had not owned a Mercedes for years and decided to scale down from a larger Lincoln after seeing the C-Class, assuming the quality was good. I was looking for better economy in a small sedan with delux features. There are a few cars which fill this catagory but it was the overall look of the Mercedes which won me over. It is as quiet as the Lexus and the Infinity but with a better looking interior. I did not test drive the Acura, Volvo, Lincoln, BMW, or Audi because of the styling. Appearance has always been important to me. Figuring out the dashboard electronics has been confusing to this point. A matter of time.

Effortless Power, Unique and Rare

This car is outstanding! I have now owned the C55 AMG for over a year and I still am not tired one bit from driving it daily. The power is absolutly supurb, so great it can stay dead even with my Dodge Viper! The main reason I bought the C55 is not only because of its monstrous 362hp V8 but because it is very rare and unique. Today I still have not seen another one on the road! When you buy this car do not expect people to be taking pictures of the car out their windows, But Once in a while you will notice someone checking out the car. For the most part this car sleeps under the radar until you "OPEN HER UP" and let all the people around you hear the car's V8 roar.

The C230 has been a solid and reliable purchase and wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again. It has the classic MB good looks in a package that is fun to drive without hitting the wallet in a bad way. The 1.8L Kompressor engine provides ample performance and zip. It is both fast and quick as well as being responsive to the touch. My C230 has 50,000 miles on it and has yet to see a service bay for other than the scheduled maintenance. It's fuel economy is in keeping with other 1.8L engines. Bottom line... I never get tired of driving it and plan on keeping it a long time.

I bought it as a birthday present for my wife knowing I would do some of the driving myself. She loves the looks and ride and I love the hotrod aspect. My partner has a 2003 BMW M3 and I've driven it quit a few times. The C55 is just a quick and best of all it delivers the power much more smoothly. I highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a four door Porsche.

I have had my C320 Sport Coupe for 14 months now and have never had any problems. The only time it has gone to the dealer is for it's first oil change at 1 year - that I find amazing in itself! Service is only required every 13,000 miles or 12 months. Very fun to drive, very good road-holding. Dealership has treated me like a king. I was a little apprehensive to buy a Benz because of Consumer Reports giving them a bad rating. My personal experience, though, has been this is the first new car I have ever owned that has never had to go to the dealer for any adjustments or fixes. Talk about a carefree ownership experience!

MB finally got it right with this version of the C class sedan. This car is extremely fun to drive and rides like a sports car. While the 4 cyl doesn't have an overwhelming amount of power it provides enough speed for changing lanes on the highway. If you're looking for a sporty luxury sedan that rides like a sports car this is it.

This car is an absolute blast. It blows the C240 away. If you are looking for something that is reasonably quick yet cheap, this is your car. However, maintenance is quite expensive. Just went through the first oil change, $65! The thing requires Mobil 1 SuperSyn 0W- 40 and there are only a couple of places you can buy that. Approximate cost is $7.50 a quart. Other than that, enjoy.

The car has been great and is fun to drive. I wish it had more power (was driving a 6 spd Maxima) especially when the A/C is on. Handling is wonderful and the car loves corners. I only purchased 2 options (CD changer and sunroof package) and have been very pleased. So far the car has had two unscheduled services (sunshade instalation and cold start/computer issue). Annual oil change at dealer was $150. Other than that no surprises to date. If buying again I'd wait for the 320 or new 350 (new 2007/8 C-class looks amazing).

I Love my C class. It is more fun to drive than my SL500. It picks up speed quicker, and makes U-turns fun. Its such a small car you can park it anywhere. The only thing I dislike about it is that my hands sometimes hit the dashboard because it is to close to the steering wheel. Other then that I like my C Class.

I am very impressed by the performance and gas mileage. The 4matic is AWESOME on snowy roads. Interior is quiet, but shoulder room is a little close, and I'm not a very big guy. Center dash controls are a little complicated, but the steering wheel controls work well and are very convenient and add an element of safety. This is my third M- B, and the overall quality seems consistant with previous models, but certain areas have gone down. The stereo/system display looks cheap and borrowed from a Chrylser "sister". I've had more mechanical issues with this one than previous models as well. There is a pesky leak of some kind that the dealer has trouble finding. Overall the car is not readily distinguishable from the growing competition, and the premium sticker is getting harder to justify.

Ive had a 2005 C230 Sport Sedan for 2 years now and love the car. With the AMG styling and upgrades the sport sedan has its a real head turner. I have had zero problems with the car and I drive it about 30000 miles a year. I've only brought it in for scheduled maintanence and had a couple recall problems fixed. I'd buy this car again and would recommend it to anyone. My friend has a BMW 325xi and my Benz is much more fun to drive

I've been a Mercedes Benz driver since my 19th birthday. My first was a white/black 2003 c230 Kompressor 1.8L. I loved this car so I was hesitant to buy another car, and refused to buy anything other than another Mercedes. My black/black sedan is quite comparable. When I first got it I often had to remind myself that I was driving a new car (as the interiors of the kompressor coupe and sedan are essentially identical). I sprung for the leather this time, but chose xenons instead of seat heaters. The xenons are ridiculously bright. love them.

This is a high performing car. I feel I can and will take anyone on the highway. The passing power is splendid. I like the fact that i can choose Comfort or Sporting and the tranny responds to the way I drive. When I am in Comfort it is a more plesant ride withthe supension but cornering and speed is sacrafice. It is still fast with this in mind.It encourage others around you to (especially out dated Hondas) to attempt to compete. Most on the road will let you pass or won't cut you off because it's a Mercedes and they can tell it's fast. I have the black coupe which looks sweet. I get looks and the car washers love the car. I like the Panny roof and the sound systems is awesome. I love my car!

I bought this car somewhat relunctantly, because "the car guys" were not really enthusiastic about it. I think that they're wrong. I traded a 2000 Audi A4 1.8TQ for this car, and I think that it's just as good if not better than the Audi. It's quiet with a smooth ride, and I love all the standard features. I got a good deal on the car, and I think that it's a great value for the money. I love my new car.

So far this car has more than met all of my expections. Its performance, drive, ride and technical qualities are superb. I am extremely pleased with how I have been treated by the people where I purchase the C320. They have been very courteous, professional, and helpful and their follow-up has been outstanding thus far. The only downside to the car is that its interior size is a little tight. I knew this when I purchased the car.

My wife and I had to decide between the the C55, the M3, and the new Corvette. The C55 was clearly the best of the three. The Corvette is cheaper, but it isn't nearly as safe as either the BMW or the Benz. The key difference between the C55 and the M3 is the interior. One look inside of an M3, and you will know that the car is built for performance. The C55 is built for performance and for luxurious comfort. For just $1,000 more than an M3, the C55 offers a hand-made engine, Nav system, single disc CD player with a 6-disc changer in the glove box, heated seats, four doors, and much, much more. The C55 is really an outstanding deal for the money it costs.

The C55 AMG is a truly unique/special car. Its sleek look is extremely deceptive. The only problem I have with the car is the digital audio system by Harman/Kardon. The majority of the sound comes from the front, not the rear. Overall, the car is fantastic, and a vehicle I plan on keeping for several years. If you want a four-door beast, and at the same time, have all the luxury/performance you can handle, the C55 is for you.

Just purchased this vehicle for below invoice price. It's fun to drive this car so far. Only issue I would complain is its build quality - Sunroof is not leveled, right side is slightly "up". I went back to the dealer and noticed some MBs also were made like this, but some are just perfect. Dealer agrees to fix it.

Just turned 13,000 miles after six months and have loved every mile! The car handles beautifully and has a tight solid ride. The fit and finish is excellent and the new body style always attracts attention. It looks like a 90k car on the inside and has many of the same features. The new body style, interior, gauges, and suspension make the 2005 C240 4Matic the best in its class.

Driver's seat is hard to get in and out of because of a low seat and cramped cockpit, right leg annoyingly rests against center console but I eventually got used to it. Transmission went after one year due to "metal shavings" Still not quite sure what that means, but Mercedes replaced it under warranty and gave me an E-Class sedan to drive while it was being repaired, as they've done for all my service check-ups as well. The steering wheel controls, which offer menu options to change settings on the vehicle, are overly complicated and require too much time to learn that I, or any other working husband and father, has time to learn. I still have trouble with those menus. Truly compared to the BMW 3-series I tested this car is gold. The engine sound is truly invigorating. The back seat is a little small but my kids fit fine and the trunk is spacious. Very intuitive design and very safe. The car has a luxury feel for an affordable price and I would highly reccomend it.

Broken sunroof within 3 days of purchase. Unable to close. Car received with difficulty opening cup rack in consol brought in for repair but, not fixed. Very unstable cup rack. Broken latches on console in 4 months of use prohibiting use of storage boxes. Brake drum rust in 4 months looks awful but I'm told by dealership is normal. Cannot move in slightest bit of snow as well as sliding into oncoming traffic in the highway intersection when stopped on incline. I was put in a very frightening situation and personally having the ability to drive every type of vehicle, I must state the car's performance with any unstable surface, is very poor. I am presently looking at a trade-in.

I bought the C240 in Jan. 2005 and love it. It is a new vehicle with 6 miles to begin with on it. It is stylish and handles well. It is wider than the Volvo that I traded in and feels a lot heavier and safer to drive. The panel is clear and easy to follow/program. It is good in snow and severe weather which is why I bought it since I live in the mountains (Park City, Ut). It doesn't have the power that the Volvo S60 had but has more power than the C240 that I had in 2002. I am pleased with the car and the way it handles.

Great car if you can keep tires on it.

I bought this car when it came off a dealer lease. It has been a pleasure to drive and gets great gas mileage 26- 30mpg. It is stylish and easy to navigate the controls. The only downside I have seen is replacing the tires every 10,000 miles. It doesn't matter if you put Michelen or Kumho, you get the same results. I have had it aligned and the mechanic says this is an issue with all Mercedes and BMW. You sacrifice comfort and cornering for tires. The brake dust is horrible, you constantly have to clean your wheels.

If you want to waste $30,000 then this is the car for you. I traded in a KIA Rio and thought I was taking a huge step up but I was mistaken. In the 6 months I have had this car it has been in the shop 7 times for various problems including alignment problems, electrical glitches with the ESP system, transmission and the lost goes on. The car is full of squeaks & rattles. I wish I had been smarter and purchased a car based on it's actual merits not on the logo on the hood. Save yourself $10,000 and countless trips to the dealer and buy a Honda or Toyota. Mercedes is only a name now. There is NO quality behind the shiny hood emblem in my opinion.

After driving SUV's for years, I recently purchased C230 coupe. Our oldest daughter had just turned 16, with the additional car for our daughter I decided to trade in the last of my SUV's for this Mercedes. I can only say that as a mother of 3, driving had been limited to vehicles that would be large enough to haul all our kids, their friends and whatever else we could squeeze in :). When I was a in my 20's I bought what I could afford, then came the kids-practically was the focus- now-I drive for FUN! I do have a problem though, our 16 year old wants me to "share"..

The Mercedes-Benz C230 Sport Sedan is a poor excuse for a Mercedes-Benz that should never have been marketed. The car is junk. The only thing that they accomplished is that I will never purchase another Mercedes product. I hate this car.

I took delivery at the plant in Sttutgart , receiving the royal treatment there, including a full tank of gas. Took off for Berlin inmediately in the Autobahn. Got it in the States for Christmas. Performance is beyond my expectations, handling , braking and high speed acceleration are superb and so is confort. Front seats can be stretched to form a bed for a quick nap in rest areas. Very thrifty on gas specially in the 60 miles range.
