2025 Mazda CX-90 Consumer Reviews
Pricing
Average
I've been following the cx-90 and cx-70 for over a year. Finally got to spend a week with it and found it to be an average SUV. The ride was awesome as was the power train. Lots to love about it. The center console ruins it however. My wife is a software engineer and couldn't get past it. She asks 'who would program such a thing?' It has a terrible lag between input and implementation. We would pass on ownership for this reason.

Pretty sad build quality
I was excited to rent one of these. I drive around 30 cars per year and was looking forward to this one. The car drove fine (6240 miles) however build quality was suspect. The gear shift knob rattled, hood appeared to be skewed of to one side, gas fill cover felt like a piece of plastic. It took me 5 minutes to figure out that the car has to be off before the cover will release. Mind you the rental was in NW Iowa and the air temp was -12 with a 25 mph wind. Turning off the car makes for a cold reentry. I love the Cx5. The CX 90 seems to cut corners.

Not as good as CX-9
Have been driving the 2025 CX-90 SUv model for almost 6 months and impressed at all. The car has lots of quality control issues (lags and feel heavy at low speed, mileage is terrible both local and highway driving, cabin makes a annoying whistle noise when the driver side window is open several inches, cabin noise is just as bad as previous models, touch screen is glitchy with Apple CarPlay. Car jerks at low speeds, seats are uncomfortable after 7k mileage, and the list goes on). I had 3 other CX-90 models before the 2025 CX-9 and really disappointed with Mazda for not significantly improving this model. This would be my last Mazda after the lease expires.

Pretty Awesome SUV, and a plug in hybrid!
Very spacious, well equipped, luxurious interior, functional features. Wish it had a little more power and initial acceleration but that isn’t a deal breaker! Overall, really good value and highly recommended.
