Used 2018 Mazda CX-9 Consumer Reviews
Had a yen
It is difficult to access the third row of seats. I wish the rear hatch raised a bit higher. I am 6’ 1” and I hit my head on it all the time.

Not without it's faults
I bought my 2018 Touring as a CPO. I fell in love with the car during the test drive. Responsive, hugs corners, handles well, and smooth transmission. The safety tech on it works well without it being annoying. The infotainment is VERY dated, no XM radio on Touring or Sport trims. It takes mine about 3 minutes to load and then freezes on the warning screen for another minute. The upgrade of Apple Car play give this infotainment some much needed updates, BUT, the usb plug is in the center console so you have a cable running from the center console to where you put your phone. (I can't tell you how many times I've grabbed my cable shifting the car. Don't bother having anything tall in the driver side cup holder. It can make it hard to shift the car. This car is definitely not for families with children in car seats. We have two kids rear facing and the car seat fill up the 2nd row. Add a double stroller and with the 3rd row down, you have limited space left. Also there is NO storage! You have the center console, small glove box, and very small under cargo behind the 3rd row. The seats in the touring are not comfortable. They are stiff and it's hard for me to get comfortable. Overall the car is a good car. I haven't had any major issues with it. Other than mentioned above I like the car. Not sure I'll be keeping if for long because I doesn't fit our family. But if you're looking for a reliable and fun 3 row suv to drive, I'd definitely consider the Cx9.

Best SUV for your money in my book, ZOOM! ZOOM!!!
Just bought a 2018 Mazda CX 9 Touring with Premium option package, Vehicle has 23000 miles on it, and so far I am totally satisfied! AWD works great! Gas mileage is good, Turbo gives you more than you need in power! Bose Centerpoint sound system is Awesome! The infotainment center is user friendly, and heated seats are great. Luxurious Leather interior All in All I would buy another one of these in a Heartbeat! Try it Youll Like it! Best Trade I ever made, got rid of a 2009 Saturn Outlook and dont regret that at all!!! :)

Like our CX5 but more room
We love our CX5 Grand Touring AWD and love our CX9 Grand Touring AWD as much or more so. The CX9 has more room which is great since we have two 40 pound dogs and travel a bit with them cross country. Besides performance which is fantastic, the heads up display works great and offers a high level of safety features. We also have Android Auto installed which replaces the terrible navigation system used by Mazda. The gas mileage is not as good as our CX5 but still mid 20s. Mazda makes a great car that is fun and safe to drive

Family and sport car
CX-9 signature is a piece of art with high technology and safety car. very nice SUV car that can combine sporty car with family car has 7 seats. this car has 2 missing points : 1. Steering is heavy comparing with all cars specially for ladies . 2. The voice of the engine is inside the car, the isolation system between the engine and the inside cabin of the car is bad ...If those 2 points are modified then I am sure it is the best SUV with 7 seats in the market and will beat the luxury cars .
