No storage and not very ergonomic
Nice interior materials but stuff just not very convenient. Fan buttons are very small ,drink holders in bad position glove compartment very small as is the center console. Ride is a little stiff ( coming from a Camry)maybe it’s just cause it’s AWD and a suv. Little lag in acceleration at lower speeds. Not a fan of non-touch screen. Has knobs to scrolling thru the screens

Would not buy the CX-5 again.
I've had the CX-5 (red) for 2 months now. My main complaints about the car are the paint and the cheap felt carpet in the cabin. The paint is thin and not durable at all. The paint is chipping already. The cheap felt carpet is hard to clean and it's something you would find in a low budget car. My other complaints, no touch screen, entertainment controls are cumbersome and the auto-sensing rain wipers are sporadic. The wipers at times go really fast when the is a light mist rain. The climate controls are also whacky. When the control is off you can still feel heat coming through. the dash vents. The windshield fogs up quickly for some reason. The undercarriage and parts of the wheel well have felt material also, dumbest idea ever!!! Holds moisture. It should be plastic. The engine when it 1st starts sounds noisy for about 10 seconds until the oil reaches the valvetrain I'm guessing. I hope that is not a future issue. The cheap paint is the biggest let down. To do it all over, I probably would have bought a Subaru or Toyota.

Fun to drive!
Trade a Honda CRV ( which was noisy and feel every bump on the road) on this CX5 is the best thing ever I’ve done. Very happy with with the CX5 . No problems
