Awesome Vehicle
Not only does this vehicle looks stylish and intelligent, designed and built with safety in mind, drives and ride effortlessly, smooth and quite, interior design is inviting and comfortable, dashboard and instrument panel driver and front passenger friendly, Overall very impressive vehicle, the only drawback is the third row seating is not designed for adults uncomfortable. Two years in
I have now owned the RX450 HL for 18 months. I still enjoy the car but there are two issues that I have. One, I just had to replace all of the tires and I only have 12,400 miles on the car. It came with Michelin premium tires. I had a Taurus previously and got 60,000 miles on a set of Michelins. Second, the EPA mileage estimate on the window sticker was 29 MPG city. I have made a concerted effort to optimize my mileage and at best can only get 24 MPG. I spoke with the Lexus service department and was told that 24 MPG is considered to be very good for the 450 HL. I’m extremely disappointed with the gap between the sticker MPG estimate and the real world results. Update: no changes from the previous review. I still like the car as much as before but still disappointed with the gas mileage. Update, the car has exceeded my expectations. It’s by far the best car that I’ve owned. I’m not sure why but the mileage has improved to an acceptable level. I’m now getting around 24-25 mpg around town. The reliability has been excellent.

Soccer Mom Car
Dependable luxury for your wife and kids. This was the 3rd Lexus I have owned. Great for the family but no performance. No turbos or superchargers in the line. Great second car but not my primary.

Slow as molasses
My dad just leased this yesterday. I drove it and was ready to cry afterwards. 0-60 in 7.9 seconds. It’s so slow. I don’t know why someone would pay for a car this slow. There are so many better options out there at this price point.
