It's 306 hp is enough for most but a 6spd manual won't be a bad idea to complement it's power. the reason why I'd rather have a manual tranny is for one reason alone... it just take too long when downshifting. Also, the VDIM kills the fun right away when cornering aggressively. Other than that I think it's a perfect car.

Best Car ever Driven

I have owned most cars made by US and Japanese manufacturers for the last 35 years. I have never experienced such comfort and speed till I started driving my IS 350! It is a car that almost reads your mind and handles well on any type of road. I thought of getting another Acura TL for my wife since we already own one! But after test driving the IS 350 and Acura TL, I fell in love with the versatility, handling, comfort and speed of the IS. It is a car that makes you want to be "on the road again" as it is so much fun to drive! Please pray that no cop will catch me soon.

I've only had the car a couple weeks but wanted to share a little bit about it. Mine has the Nav system and at first i had no plans of getting that option. Now after having the gps map, and touch screen options for everything i love it. The handling and power of the car are exceptional. Mine still has less than 600 miles on it so i haven't gotten into it very hard yet.

Very tight car. Transmission is a little less responsive than I would like. Dealer experiance a plus. Seems to like to go from mid range to hair on fire very quickly. Average radio unless you upgrade. Would like it to have had blue tooth connectivity for telephone.

Just bought the car end of Dec. I got the Luxury package Mark Levinson stereo and nav 4000+. There are too many high tech feature to learn. It is very hard to find a Luxury Package, it took me about 4 months to find one. Acceleration and braking are excellent.
