Just Purchased a 2020 Telluride
We just purchased a 2020 Telluride AWD after researching the car for the last few weeks. We had to have the one that we wanted ordered in as they kept selling before we could get to the lot. We got the S package with Moss Green for the exterior and black for the interior. So far it exceeding our expectations. The technology alone on the S model is great for the price. We were not expecting it to have so many bells and whistles. The 2nd row captains chairs are huge. The third row does seat "3" but the middle seat is tiny so I wouldn't recommend 3 adults back there. The Cargo space with the 3rd row seat up is enough for our family. It is about the same as my Pathfinder was. Hoping for the best with this SUV!

Jeep Wrangler for a Telluride
I've had my Telluride for about a month. Had a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited which I loved until I happen to see & drive the Telluride. I love the look, ride, comfort & all the safety features. So far nothing but high praises .

Love my Telluride
I never thought of buying Kia and was interested in the Hyundai Palisade that was coming out but seen the Telluride and fell in love. I have owned Cadillacs, Buick’s, Fords, all top of the line vehicles. This SUV far exceeds any other car/SUV/truck I’ve owned. So thrilled with the Telluride. Great job Kia!!!❤️

Great car but overpriced
The Kia Telluride is a really technology filled vehicle and looks very sharp, but because of the demand for this car dealers are upping the cost of the vehicle on their own which prevents me from buying at this time. I live in Arizona and the Tucson dealers are adding $4000 and the Phoenix dealers are adding 5 to 10 thousand. Not a good deal for us buyers and why does Kia USA allow it. The other feature that I dislike was the limited colors for interior and exterior. When the price comes down to reality I might buy a Telluride.

Give it a try, you'll love it!
Very comfortable, larger that our Acadia and drives better. Has all the bells and whistles. No WiFi, only set back. Nicer than the BMW's and RR I have been in and our last GMC. Very happy we gave it a look, we love it.

Watch out for deer!
Love my Telluride, easy, comfortable to drive until I drove at night. The low beam distance needs attention! The first time I drove at night, I was not comfortable with the short distance and the definitive line between light and dark. When going down any slope, hill, there is no vision going back up until too late. End up uncomfortably driving in the dark. While driving on a busy highway, I had low beams on when I met a deer on the up side of such hill. Deer in road came into vision too late on the up side of hill. I live in a rural setting and know deer are out now but can't keep high beams on out of consideration of others. Needs a fix!

It’s so awesome!!
We test drove a Porsche, Range Rover and Toyota and then we drove the Telluride. We knew immediately that this is what we needed and wanted, and the price makes it that much more enjoyable. I never thought of driving a Kia before this, now I’m one of their biggest fans!!!! Thank you KIA!!!

Perfection
I have the 2020 Telluride EX model now with about 5,000 miles on it. I'm a big guy and couldn't be happier. My last vehicle was a 2007 Chevy Avalanche. I don't miss my Avalanche at all...thought I would. The Telluride is like being in space ship with all the new technology.its comfortable, a pleasure to drive, and has the room when you need it. The KIA dealership on the other hand can be very difficult and will try to squeeze you for extra money. I wasn't falling for their tactics so be aware. The Telluride is as close to perfect as you are gonna find and compares very well to every other SUV at any price!

BEST suv we've had! 2020 EX.
Our Telluride is 2 weeks off the lot, we friggin love it! Passenger knee space is no concern actually and it has so many features we love. Family of 5 , we can fill this car and everyone still comfy. Love the in car intercom, kids love reclining 2nd and 3rd row. Best car choice! So many USB ports, great mileage, looks very sharp too!

Cool looking suv with cracked windshield
After making 15000 miles still having problems ( the GPS navigation has another of issues not running properly and as many other telluride owners i have a CRACKED WINDSHIELD. Kia services department refusing to fix it even though kia announced it will take care of bad windshields. Not happy with the suv at all .I don't recommend it

Lots of hype on this car... it’s almost all true
We have a family with 3 boys. The oldest is now 12 and we have gone through 3 of the more popular larger 3 row SUVs. In 2014 we got the GMC Acadia, in 2017 we got a Dodge Durango, in early 2020 we got the Telluride... Pros: It has great space. We have the captain chairs in the middle and we love how 3 kids or smaller adults can still fit in the 3rd row. The very back has the best cargo space. The drive is good with a sufficiently powerful engine but not the best. If you live in a snowy region the fwd is always better than RWD. Technology is good with car play and other good stuff (minus a garage door opener? What!?). The overall quality feel of everything is very good from the seats to the paint to the rims.... 21 mpg is solid. Seats are roomy and comfortable. Good visibility out. Cons: it has a loud ride. Other than the engine it does’t feel sporty to drive. The transmission doesn’t like to be worked at all but if you’re just motoring along it is totally fine. Stereo will not Impress, the ac fan really needs a .5 and a 1.5.... the changes between 0, 1, and 2 are way too drastic. The safety driving features are a little too sensitive, we ended up turning them off when possible. Those FWD tires will spin out way too easily which is really obnoxious, the Acadia was worse at this though. In this comparison the Acadia is easily last.... it was a good car but the Kia and dodge out do it in pretty much every way. However, the ride of the dodge makes it the best choice... although we like the tellie we really miss our Durango. The RWD, powerful engine, and quiet classy interior Make it our favorite... I didn’t want to see it go and now I can’t wait to replace this one and it hasn’t even been a year. Don’t get me wrong the Kia is a very good car we just like the Durango much better.

Got an SUV but didn’t break the bank
The 2020 Telluride is a great affordable SUV. Handles like a car but with the space of a mini van. Most vehicles you have to buy the top of the line to get the luxury you want but with the Telluride all models have the most wanted luxury items.

2020 Kia Telluride LX AWD
Purchased this vehicle 3 days ago, and I have yet to find anything that I dont like about it!! This SUV has been very well thought out by Kia before releasing it! A little late to the Large SUV segment, but well worth the wait! UPDATE: after 9 months, I bought another one!

Overall Nice Car but Has issues
Purchased 2020 Telluride in May 2019. In December 2019, leaking coolant, towed to the dealer and the technician said it is a hose to the heater was not probably fasten from the factory. In May 2021. AC blowing war air. Back to the dealer again, they said low on refrigerant, it costed me $270 to perform AC service, which includes a dye in the system. The AC worked for about 2 weeks and then start to blow warm air again, back to the dealer for the second time they said there is a leak from the condenser. They ordered the part but it’s on backorder. No estimate date when it will arrive, so I am driving a car that feels like a toaster. I called Kia consumer affairs and got a case number. I tried to get a loaner but they didn’t want to hear anything, shame on KiA, This is a clear indication what’s the reliability of the telluride will be like. I am glad I just leased it, only 10 more months before the maturity of lease.

Loving the ride of my Telluride
Overall I love the ride and features of my new Telluride S Model which I have been driving for 5 weeks now and have just over 5K miles to date. One very irritating failure or intentional “leave out” is the very Mickey Mouse climate control system. This is the 7th Kia in my family and by far the worst climate control I have ever had. Outside of that, I would rate all aspects of my moss green Telluride as five star. However I would only buy another one IF I could afford top of the line to get better climate control.

Great Vehicle with a Useless Moonroof
Love this vehicle ...……….EXCEPT …….the Moonroof only opens half way!! Very, very noisy when opened. Do not waste your money on this option. Dealership service departments are not aware of this. Wasted a service appointment to fix what cannot be fixed.

Fantastic Vehicle
I traded my third Nissan (2013 Armada) in for a Telluride in May of 2019, and aside from adjusting to the down size (Armada's are huge) I do not regret a thing. I absolutely love my Telluride, and will most likely be going into a higher trim level when my lease is up. It's honestly a fun vehicle to drive. I have the space of an SUV with the handling of a car, so it's much easier to maneuver than larger SUV's. The safety features that every other car manufacturer make you pay extra for are standard in the Telluride - blibd spot assist, forward collision, adaptive cruise control, parking assist, lane assist. I have all of that in the base trim. I am also 5'11, and feel I have plenty of room, even if I sit in the back seats. I honestly only went to go look at it because I was curious because, well, Kia. Once I drove it, I was in love. It's also nice knowing that Kia offers a top of the line warranty that is one of the longest in the industry. I've had an issue with some USB ports not working, but they replaced the wiring harness with no issue, and frankly I expected to have some kinks considering it's the first year in production. Overall, it is a great value and bang for the buck. I know some dealerships are charging extra because of it's demand, but even with that additional sticker price it comes in cheaper than most other comparable SUV's of it's class.

Never again Kia!
After many years as a Ford family and driving a Ford Explorer, we decided to buy the new Kia Telluride. We bought a new 2020 Telluride a few weeks ago and TWO DAYS after we bought our car, all of the safety features stopped working. As in, the ACU communications system. You know, the MAIN reason our family decided to choose Kia...FOR THE SAFETY FEATURES! We reached out not only to the dealership where we bought the vehicle but Kia corporate as well. Wow. We have never experienced such poor customer service and a genuine lack of concern for the problem. All the way from the top, down. #NeverAgainKia.
Hidden fees UVO
Without UVO subscription, remote starter and live traffic will not work. You have to pay $29.99 per month. UVO customer care told me that we are not "compelling you to buy" rudely..So over $55,000.00 later from Nov 2020, now I'm left walking in the snow to warm up my car.

Not What we Expected
Really blown away by the glowing reviews of the Telluride and the fact that people are paying as much as $5k to $7k over MSRP. Finally took a test drive today on an SX without prestige because that’s all the dealer had. Don’t get me wrong, the Telluride is likely the best concept to ever come from Kia. That being said, I wasn’t blown away by the ride, the interior, the exterior and the larger part, the dealer. Dealers seem to think that they have a unicorn here. Coming from many Lexus GX’s and a current RXhL, I have a minimum of expectation for the Telluride. The ride was fine and the cabin quieter than expected. However for a Trim that nears $50k, both the driver and passenger seats were very firm and flat. The transmission was quite jerky in sport mode and seemed to be always on the hunt for the correct gear. There was too much hard plastic on the interior for $50k and the instrument panel should have been digital as it is in the Palisade at that price point. Now... to put things in perspective, for the same price you can get into a certified Lexus RHL, with rear captains chairs for about $46-$48k. The customer service experience with Lexus isn’t even in the same planet as Kia. The Telluride does have more rear space than the Lexus, but the Lexus blows it away in interior quality. Current owners are going to be really disappointed in 2-3 years when resale value tanks because they overpaid for an SUV that should be low $40’s at best.

My new Copper Black SX AWD Telluride with Towing
Go test drive and see for yourself what you are getting. Opted for the AWD for the towing package and the towing package only comes on the SX AWD. This is my third Kia and I have upgraded for the Sportage to the Sorento to now the Telluride.
Love my Telluride
The Telluride changed my overall opinion about KIA. The Telluride is great for all ages. Its stylish, safe, reliable.

KIA customer service destroys ownership experience
The headlights on this vehicle are poor. The headlights are so dangerous we do not drive this vehicle at night. Too much liability. They only illuminate about 30 feet of road directly in front of the vehicle on low beams. When turning you are turning totally blind. They do not illuminate stop signs, speed limit signs or any other warning signs. The high beams just light up the trees. The headlights are so poor that the Lane Keep Assist / Warning and the Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection quit working at night because the SUV can't see the road either. KIA dealers and KIA Corporate refuse to fix the problem. Parts take 6 months to year to get for repairs. First and last KIA I will ever own. Update 01/01/2022 sold the POS Telluride and bought a Lexus, which is what I should have done in the first place.

Love this Vehicle all Aroun
I cant believe the class and performance you get with this vehicle. I get lots of questions and double takes. The ride is incredibly smooth and quite. Plenty of room! The interior is just as nice if not better than other vehicles that are $20k more! Highly recommend

It’s still a KIA
After reading the glowing reviews and being taken in by its attractive style, I purchased one of these for my wife. It’s black on black and is stunning to look at. However, it’s a pile of tin with low quality build. The seats are coming apart after 5k miles, the electronics work when they want and overall is a purchase which I regret. I can’t believe I traded my Mazda CX-9 for this pile of junk. Oh yeah, the steering is completely numb.

BEST 3 row SUV...period!
I've been researching autos for 32 years, driven countless and owned many. I've owned five 2-row and 3-row SUV/Crossovers since 2006 for our family of six. Two Toyota Highlanders, one Acura RDX, one Honda Passport and our most recent purchase, the KIA Telluride. After 12k I cannot find one single issue or problem with this vehicle. The fuel economy is even incredible for a large, mid-sized SUV sitting at 9.5L/100kms. The Highlanders, RDX and Passport all achieved the same. In fact, the Passport being the worst. This includes a mixed driving of rural, urban driving experiences. Real world averages. The Telluride is by far the very best SUV we've ever owned and I would 100% buy another one!

Hard Drive. Lack of Quality Interior
Dealers are establishing prices $4-7 over MSRP. Not worth it. Drive a Toyota Highlander. You will note a significant difference.
This car is Ah-mazing!!!!
I am still so in love with the Telluride. I was not planning on buying a new one since I had a 2020 version that I loved but the dealership made an offer on mine that I couldn't refuse and ordered me a 2022 which arrived (coincidentally) on Black Friday!! Best Christmas gift ever. I have the SX Prestige still (would not recommend any lower package) with rear entertainment system and cross bars in Wolf Gray and AWD. It still has everything I loved about my first one and I get compliments all the time on the color. I was afraid it would look like the Ford color or Toyota color but it does stand out alone. The only complaint I have is about the rear entertainment system. It is horrible. I wish we had saved the $1500 and got 2 ipads and strapped them on. The RES is screwed into the seats and can come off but with much difficulty. They run on Android which doesn't work when your family has Apple products. I tried doing screen mirroring just to have something and it didn't work. There are only a few games and apps on it. It needs wifi to run and I have run it on my hotspot but it just doesn't want to work. The sales person said they have been trying to learn it through You Tube videos but even they struggle. If you don't need it then don't get it. I wish they would offer wifi in car if they are going to require installed equipment to run with it. My husband has his Silverado that has wifi in it and it is priceless- especially when you have 4 kids lol. Other than that I recommend it for size, features, and reliability. I had no problems with my first one and I expect to have nothing with the second. At this point in the world I am happy to have the warranty and the great gas mileage. Going a week on one tank has definitely saved some money.

Love at first sight!
I had been car shopping for 2 months; from trucks to SUVs to vans... I liked parts of the vehicles but nothing kept my interest. I happen to be driving and saw a Kia van and thought... maybe. Then I hit Kia’s website, and it was all over. I saw the Telluride and immediately fell in love. A few days later I took my S AWD Moss Green Telluride for a test drive, I had to have it. The vehicles I was looking at were used from $5,000 - $15,000... that went to the waste side. I have had my Telluride for 3 days .. and it is more appealing every time I get behind the wheel. Super comfortable, extremely roomy, and I love, love, love it!! It is well worth the money spent. I’ve seen videos online where people love the vehicle but not sure about it being a Kia. Well, what I would say to them, take it for a drive. Seeing videos does not do it justice. Drive it and love it! 3 years later, still very much in love with my Telluride! Buying her when my lease is up in a few months. No regrets! If I had one not so good thing to say about it, sometimes it is hard to regulate the temp. Feels like the blower is always on. Bought my Lease and I hope this vehicle lasts forever. Moved to Maine and looking forward to our first winter here. I would 1000% buy this vehicle again (but would need to swap out the new Kia insignia - don’t like it)!

Worth it. Ignore the bad reviews.
Having owned my Telluride (EX Premium) for 8 months and doing several 10+ hour drives I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. The car is very comfortable, looks great, quiet, good/easy to use technology, etc. I really don’t know what more others are expecting. The biggest issue by far is the dealership experience. Kia needs to invest in customer service training and the physical dealerships themselves, not good. However the Telluride is a relatively simple SUV so hoping I will not have to spend much time there.

A/C SHUTS DOWN
I have had my Telluride for about 6 months. Overall, I like it. We had a Kia Sorento before the Telluride. Our Salesman talked us into driving the Telluride. I decided to trade for the Telluride. I didn't go for the one with ALL of the bell's & whistles because it was another $6,000! I do like the wider windshield, the quiet cabin, the classiness of the interior, but there is one thing that I just noticed. When I am sitting at a stop light or a drive-thru, the A/C goes off and the engine shuts down. When I start to drive again, the engine starts on its own and the A/C comes back on. When the Temps are in the 90's, this is NOT a good feature!! The Sorento never did that. I was looking at one of the brochures that came with the Telluride, it tells you the Telluride does this! I think this should NOT do this period. The reasoning behind it, I really don't know what that is. But I could never be convinced it is a good one. So I am not sure I will buy another Telluride. Maybe go back to a Sorento or go with a Hybrid.
disappointed ride
We were excited about the Telluride, it has awesome reviews from just about all the different major sources, Car and Driver, etc. So when we arrived to a Kia dealership we were excited that maybe our car buying might be all ready done! We test drove it. What struck us right away and was disappointing was the power of the engine was soft it lags and I was unimpressed by the interior design features last of quality materials for a $49,000.00 SUV. I have seem the same materials used in a $20,000 car and look just a good... overall I was disappointed and the MSRP was selling at over 6K over the asking price. another deal breaker for Kia. I talked to several deanships and one said these cars are not mass produced and limited style. Thanks but ill just wait for Kia to out live its cheap reputation.. The one good thing Kia has is its warranty was the best on market 10yr / 100,000miles. But really we are turning our attention to a hybrid Highlander or Subaru Ascent. The last thing Ill say is that I do really like the style of the Telluride. It catches my eye all the time on the road, just wish it lived up to it looks on the inside as well...

Incredible
Have had this SX with Prestige package now since September and can only say wow. Have taken it on a couple trips now and it's an awesome land cruiser. Tons of room and very comfortable to drive. All the features work great and the Stereo is pretty decent. Had to adjust the headlights down some as they were blinding other drivers from the factory. **update 2/27/21** Nothing much to add here, flaless thus far. The HDA is really amazing and makes the long trips even that much more relaxing. Took it on a 34 hour trip and not one hiccup. Couldn't be more pleased thus far.

Packed with tons of technology and good looks
I have test driven the KIA Telluride, the looks inside and outside are great. Comes standard with tons of safety and driver assistance technology. Seats upto 8 passengers. The vehicle ride is smooth and quite. Acceleration was decent. Overall good value and best car warranty. I will buy it once all the hype calms down, so I can negotiate a good price.

My wife wanted a dodge durango and i was shopping but one day, i was driving past kia dealer and saw the telluride parked. checked it out and wife loved it.we bought the EX model. lots of bells and whistles.lots of compliments on the vehicle.this is my third kia.i have 2011 optima and 2016 sorento.3rd row access is easy and adults can actually sit there unlike a lot of crossovers.city mileage is as advertised.highway mileage exceeds advertised mileage by 2 MPG.I will update in a few months. currently i have 6800 miles on the car. only problem was that the dealers was not willing to negotiate on the price.really had to haggle. there was no way,i was going to pay thousands of dollars over the MSRP.

Tech is good, seating is great. Plenty of room behind 2nd and even 3rd row. Only issues: Poor headlights Rear shock isolators went after 40k miles Would like more towing capacity, 6500 would be great Highly recommend

Telluride sparkle
I’ve had this comfortable, dependable, spacious vehicle since 2019!! Just like my Soul before, Love It!! I have seen other owners have issues, the most common, windshield breaking/cracking, interior fabric flaws, rear wiper fluid, and App issues for remote start. I had a problem with my headlights pointed towards the ground but my wonderful Kia technicians at Kia North Aurora adjusted them and what a difference! The comfortable seating and spacious cargo room adds to this Telluride sparkle.
