Great hidden gem!
I come from driving a 2015 Subaru Legacy. The car of the car and space is a bit smaller from the Subaru but it can fit 5 people in the car as my old Subaru. The car feels great, lightweight and the new CVT or IVT as Kia calls it, it feels better than Subaru's CVT. This car does not feel slow for carrying a CVT in their engine. Probably car without a CVT will be faster but for what it is, it does feel agile and good to drive. Technology wise, it has a lot of it, from Apple Car Play and Android Auto, to one of the best lane keep assist assistance. The car does not jerk the steering wheel for you like other LKA that I have driven and it is not annoying that keeps beeping all the time. The infotainment system is easy to read and understand, and so is the steering wheel where the location of the buttons and use of them are located just feels intuitive. The car also has three modes, Normal, Sport, Smart. Smart is the one that gives me the most gas mileage, and is not like other ECO modes that other cars have, the car will still accelerate quick if needed. With a mix of highway and city driving I am getting 37mpg, on my trip in Christmas to visit my family and it was all highway driving it gave me around 47mpg!! I am so happy with this car as also when I switch it to Sport mode when entering an intersection from a full stop it does deliver, and it doesn't make me worry if the car will not accelerate fast enough, because it does! The only downside for me is the stiffness of the car compared to the Subaru. I have gotten use it now but it was something that took me a bit to get used to. Love this car and I do highly recommended!! I do think if I should have gone for the GT because of the power but I am happy with my car and the gas mileage as a faster car will feel great but it would hurt my pocket more. Update Review 8/1/22: I am still very happy with the car but one detail that happened is the rubber on the driver side window was sort of melting from the sun. Took it to the dealership and changed it at no cost.

So enjoy this car
This is my second Kia Forte and I enjoy this car so much. It is a great car, prefect size and so like the classic blue color. I like the lane guides and the CarPlay and the reverse camera it is also a good price.

Bringing an Affordable Driving Experience
I recently switch back to a sedan and I wanted something that was daily driver, didn't break the bank, was safe, and fun to drive. KIA has out done themselves with the GT with GT2 package, the car sounds great for a 4 cylinder engine, the turbo really pulls when you get on the accelerator and it really sticks in the corners as well. Plus they loaded this trim and package with all the features that competitors have for a cheaper price! I find myself wanting to be the driver of the household again instead of the co-pilot.

BANG FOR YOUR BUCK
I looked at and compared this car to the Civic Si, VW GTI, and the Hyundai Veloster Lane assist, blind spot, and early collision work very well. Very comfortable seats, back seat larger than you would think. 200 HP just right for this size car. Handles great fun to drive, love my sun roof. Gas mileage better than listed. I get 27/35. Trunk plenty big. only knock: Stereo not that powerful. Everybody wanted 24 to almost 30K plus TT&l, etc for varies versions of these cars. I paid $21500.00 out the door including, TT&L, etc. Note: The six speed manuals are harder to find & less to choose from, buts there are deals to be made.

Great gas mileage
I love my car. The only two downfalls I've experienced so far is that it's not a very smooth ride. Sometimes the trunk popper is hard to pull up, it almost feels like it's going to break off. Oh, one more-no spare tire. I had to call a tow truck for a flat tire when my car was a month old.

Forte GT. Incredible
I just traded out of a C300 Mercedes. As much as I loved the car the maintenance costs are crazy. Did a lot of research, not to mention I have previously owned KIA's. The forte GT hit the mark. Very sporty, great performance, finish is impeccable and the interior is very well well planned. I just filled up on regular fuel , averaging 36MPG. The GT2 package is the way to go. The HK stereo has a nice sound. I wanted a practical car, with a lot of safety features and comfortable to drive. Forte GT is all that. The 18 inch rims are beautiful. It is a well designed car. Kia has been using the head designer of Audi and has recently hired a designer from BMW. Lets not forget the KIA warranty. Great job KIA. UPDATE: 5000 miles- The more I drive the Forte GT, the more I enjoy the car. I've had the car for 5000 miles , I had the chance to take it for a long trip from NH to NY. The seats are very comfortable and the handling is excellent. Putting the car into sport mode changes the dynamics of the car. For a small engine, the Forte GT is very peppy. The interior layout is excellent. I just bought it in for its first service. The dealer was going to use a synthetic blend of oil, I went with full synthetic. On average I am getting aprox 36 mpg. The best part is the car runs on regular. I save about $8 dollars per tank full. Compared to my C300 which required premium petrol. The safety features on the Forte are comprehensive. The car comes equipped with self braking, lane departure activation and indicates when cars are approaching when reversing. I have to say it's a weird sensation when the car gently steers itself in order to remain in your lane. My only complaint is the Apple Auto/Android Auto play. Being objective I would say some of the issues are related to my 2 year old LG android phone. To pare the phone with the Android Car Play isn't seemless. It often will take several attempts. It is extremely frustrating to use. Often I just disconnect the phone from the car play and use the mapping directly from the phone. Apple car play is a huge mistake on KIA's part. They have a great navigation system and interface system which I don't they they use anymore. All in all, the Forte GT is a great car. This is probably one of the best driving cars I have owned.

Fast, good looking, and sounds amazing!
This car is amazing. I love my 2020 Forte Gt. Has a fully independent rear suspension so it takes corners so well. Has all the safety features you want like active lane keep assist (drives for you), blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision avoidance assist, back up camera radar cruise, harmon kardon sound system (sedan only), 8” screen with Apple and android car play, heated seats and steering wheel and so much more. And the best part is the 1.6 Turbo and the dual clutch transmission is super fast. The paddle shifters are super quick to response and it has that “dsg fart” sound coming out of the active exhaust that sounds 👍🏼. Really impressed with the car and the warranty.

2020 Kia Forte Gt-Line. Great driving car !!!
I have owned my 2020 Kia Forte Gt-line, in Fire Orange, for 3 weeks. So far it has been a great car. Great running motor, with plenty of pick up when you want to get up and go. I average 40 mpg on the high way, (interstate highway at approx 75 to 80 mph) and up to 47 mpg on 2 way roads, at 60 mph. It handles great and has that sports car like feel. The drive assist feature works great, so no worries about drifting into other lanes. The blind side warning lights work great in heavy traffic, when making lane changes. The back up camera and warning signal works great while backing up onto the road. It gives a good view of what is behind you. The interior is top notch. Seats have that sports car feel to me. Tight wrap around the back and sides fit. I like them, but a larger person may feel a little cramped. The instrument panel in nice. Easy to read and easy to switch from screen to screen. Everything, including the sterio , is controllable from the steering wheel. The voice control is a nice feature. The sterio has a nice sound, but is VERY LACKING in volume. If you like to crank it up a bit on the louder side, you are not doing it in here. And the lack of a CD player is a big minus to me. Although I do use my phone to stream music. Over all I give the car a 4 out of 5 star rating. The car looks and handles great. The gas mileage is above par in my opinion. It has that sports car feel in a family sedan. The only complaint is a very low volume sterio system with no CD player.

2020 gt 6 speed manual 😍
Was looking for a car for my commute that wouldn't break the bank when I included my negative equity into the loan. This car is so perfect for me. It's Pretty quick comfortable to ride in and has all the amenities the competitors have but a price that is far cheaper than the otters. Give this car a least a test drive if your in the market. It handlers amazing and you will not be disappointed.

Kia Forte Sport with Turbo 1.6 liter
So nice to have a car in the $22k to $25k price segment that has an automatic transmission with gears and not a CVT . It is zippy and fun to drive unlike the civic . Technology and safety features top notch. Great all around value for a car that also looks sporty !

I get people asking all the time what it is, this newer design for the Forte model is astronomically better looking! My car has personality, style, efficiency, economically sound, and charisma! I’m very pleased with this car!

Warning: Not for plus-sized folks
Kia states that the hiproom dimensions are 53 inches. However the GT sport seats angle upward on each side, so really, there is about 49 inches of flat seat and about two inches of firm seat edge on each side that will dig up into your hipbones and cause excruciating pain. I have 53 inch hips so the dimensions are misleading. You won't fully notice during the test drive, so I felt I had to warn fellow curvier or thicker folks. I had to exchange the vehicle for the K5, which is gorgeous!. This car is not meant for anyone plus sized or exceptionally muscular. The features and speed were top-notch so I was sorry it didn't work out.

Attractive and Sleek
Love the design, standard safety features and infotainment system w. Apple Carplay, just wish it had the lock/unlock buttons on the front doors and push button start.
I really regret buying it!
Grinding noise coming from steering wheel and erratic behavior from the transmission in less than 8,000 miles. I hate myself for buying this car. No matter what the official reviews say, these cars are NOT well made!

Good to Go almost
My car was good except for a defective rear door lock that I had to subsequently have replaced, requiring 4 days back at the dealer. Suggest checking all mechanical workings before purchase. Otherwise seems to be a good car with a very good ride.

Black 2020 GT-Line
I just got my new car Saturday and I’m in love with it. Everything about it is great, especially the mpg and interior.
Worth it
Car is pretty awesome and has decent basic features. Gas milage is great and it rides smooth and quiet. Android Auto is a huge plus as well.
Kia are awesome.
Put 8k on the car already. Handles great very good power to weight ratio. Only bad thing it doesn't like it low gear when going low speed consistently feels more like a manual. For a brand new car less then 20k out the door. You just cant beat it.

Most spontaneous, but best trade-in/purchase I did
The reason for the 4 stars is because I had just started driving the vehicle so haven't had much time to see all it's features yet. Regardless, out the door, already a great car. Traded in my Subaru WRX for this Kia Forte and so far, already the best decision I ever made. Not to mention the lessened strain on my bank account with it taking unleaded gas vice premium and having better mileage.

Run away!!!
Worst car I have ever had. The 2020 Forte models pull to the right terribly. Even got an alignment just to make sure. I wouldn't take another one even if it was given to me for free!!
2020koa forte
I have only had this car for 4 days it only had 25 miles on it. Got out to go to work and the vehicle would NOT start . Do not buy a Kia only trouble.
Nothing but Problems
I got it when it had only 18 miles on it. I have kept up with all maintenance upkeep, and everything was fine until... All my window trims started pealing off, my spark plugs went at 38k miles, and the battery kept dying. I had to replace mine twice in one year and got it from the dealership; the A/C went at 60k miles, and my touchscreen navigation system turned off and on. I got the lemon, but Kia won't do anything about it.
