Great Car
I purchased this car after a year of diligent study. So far it has completely lived up to my study, it is a great car. My neighbors all love its appearance, and they are Mercedes owners. It is ultra-quiet, I have gotten as much as 30mpg on the highway. It has excellent performance and provides a smooth ride. The electronics are superb even though I am an electronic klutz. I love this car.

Surprisingly a nice car but suspension issues
I have had the car now for a year and a half and much of what i posted previously still holds true. which is below, but i do want to comment on a few major issues that i encountered. Within a one month period i had both front strut assemblies snap on the car. Once while i was driving and the other while i was at a stop. It sounded like someone shot the car it was so loud. thankfully i was still under warranty and everything was covered, or it would have been $625 per side. Kia did take care of the issue without hesitation, but i was without my car over a month because of a national back order on the parts. Be aware, according to the service manager, this is a known issue with Kia. SO if you are buying one make sure the front suspension has been changed. Mine went between 35k and 38k miles. Update September 2021 Got rid of the car after radiator fluid started leaking into my engine and into my car. After having the car looked at I had a bad head gasket, which went at 63k miles. Of course this was not covered under warranty because I bought the car as a lease turn in with 12k miles. According to the Kia service manager, this is a known issue with this particular car/engine.

Good Value - but be careful
Purchased new and have 125k miles on it. Great value, but have had issues. Still think the sight lines of the car are attractive, and the engine/transmission perform very well (zero complaints on either), and it has all the bells/whistles you could ask for at a value price. The suspension was never satisfactory causing the sunroof to rattle (so bad the dealer had to remove and reinstall - better but not fixed)and ambient noise while driving in the cabin is excessive. At 83k miles a front suspension spring snapped while parked and took out a tire and strut (thankfully not while driving). KIA said it was out of warranty so the fix was on my dime. Disappointed because I thought it may have had something to do with the poor suspension performance all along, but lived with it. Enter KIA Customer Service - they say parts will take 6-8 weeks for delivery but would not consider the inconvenience/cost of not having access to our Cadenza, so no offer of loaner car or discounted rental. Fast forward to 95k miles and I'm driving on the Garden State Parkway at speed when I hit a dip in the road and the roof "Bangs". Turns out it was the windshield that had separated from the car frame. Apparently the caulking/adhesive used to secure the windshield had failed and it was no longer glued to the frame. Scarry, but again, thankfully it did not cause an accident or injury. Enter KIA Customer Service - even though it was obvious this was caused by a manufacturing defect, they reiterated "out of warranty, repair on your dime". Beyond disappointed! I share the above because of the safety concerns related to both issues, and to express deep disappointment with KIA Customer Service. They market the Cadenza as competitor to other luxury brands but the sure don't treat their customers with the same consideration. I'll have a tough time picking another KIA (this was my 2nd) for my next vehicle.
KIA Cadenza Sucks
KIA will screw you, when they get the chance. I bought a brand new 2016 Cadenza loaded, worst car, worst service, worst experience with a new car period.....Long story short,my car was in the shop 4 different times for the same problem over a period of just after purchase to a yr and a half. They finally kept it for 3mos and had to supposedly put a new engine in it. Little did I know they put a 2014 remanufactured engine in my 2016,,and then the same thing happens to it again. The escalation dept basically told me oh well cant ant wont do anything. I had an attorney look at it and because I signed a deal thinking my car had been repaired properly with a new engine, there is nothing that could be done any further. The dealership I bought it at wouldnt even take it in trade for a new one because they knew the history, and told me to my face they wouldnt take it and why.So now Im stuck with a car I cant drive and still owe alot on and have to have a new car for work because I commute over a 100 mi rd trip daily. So you can see why I need a reliable vehicle. This car had left me stranded 5 times the first time was three days after buying it!! So Im done with KIA!! I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING NOR THE DEALERSHIPS IN LONGVIEW,TYLER,ROCKWALL TX!!!

Average Joe
I traded my BMW for the all new 2015 Kia Cadenza. I did not make a mistake. This is car continues to impress me and my friends. Roomy, quite, smooth ride, and lots of luxury amenities that comes standard at half the price of BMW and Mercedes. Kia has step up to the plate with this car.
