It's a jeep truck what can you say
1st 2020 jeep gladiator rubican, 2nd gladiator rubicon 2024 love the new seats and interior like the new grill. My personal review it's a jeep it comes with all the quirky thing that a jeep comes with, but here's the why it's the only truck that makes me smile when I start it and shift to drive. As far as the jeep community there great lots of fun and questions. For me reliable I put 45k miles on my 1st one and the 550 miles on my 2024. I looked around for a replacement for my 2020 jeep gladiator test drove toyotas gmc chevy sorry ford not for me so I purchase a new jeep gladiator That's my story good luck every one Like I said it makes me smile there's the why for me thanks

Gladiator Mojave 2021
LOVE my truck. 100% open air convertible top with 73k daily driver with no issues so far. The handling and ride quality with the tricked out Mojave suspension is much better than the other trim levels and the cab is big enough to fit adults in the back seat very comfortably. The wind and road noise is a thing but not a major issue. The 3.6 V6 is a good reliable engine with a proven track record. You need to get it high in the RPM range to get the power and it could use more low end torque but it works well enough. Bottom line is if you’re in the market for a mid size truck I highly recommend taking a Gladiator Mojave for a test drive. If you can handle a little extra road noise it’s the one to get.

Nothing more nothing less
Manual transmission with a tow package. How can I complain. I love transmissions and I have a brand new truck the screen is awesome. I am in love with this truck. I have roll down windows and no power locks but this is a jeep, getting tires and rails so I have a step for getting in the vehicle are really the only upgrades you need.

Death wobble fixed
I'm five months in now with about 4,000 miles on a 23 Freedom Edition (60,800 MSRP) pretty loaded... I did get 30% off, and a good trade on an 18 Renegade (good car) but had to drive 500 miles to do so. So, with like 17 miles on the Odometer, driving the 500 miles home I had the "death wobble" hit on the way home. Took it to the dealer and they fixed it easily. They essentially put it up, loosen then retighten all fasteners to specs, ensure alignment and balance, reduce factory PSI's to norms listed and no problems since. The problem with old school front ends and solid axles and reciprocating power steering that isn't rack and pinion is a certain finickyness. The advantage is the Trail Rating badge. The Gladiator advantage over a Wrangler is a truck bed... Since that first fix, I love the truck/jeep. I have a 22 Ram 2500 primarily for towing our travel trailer and it is wonderful for that, but not so much as a daily driver. It frankly is a beast of a vehicle. The Renegade was a great daily driver and even very good on National Forest roads but you couldn't put anything in it and it had its inherent limitations for off roading. and it was NO GOOD going to the transfer station for trash runs. The Gladiator is perfect. I"m still getting used to the location of things like the power window switches. It rides like an old school truck even more so than the HD 2500 with less comfort, but for a daily driver that also can haul stuff around it is great. It has little inside storage up front so I recommend buying all the little inexpensive storage fixes online for it. You will find them... They help. It fits in parking spaces, handles surprisingly well for solid axles, the hard top sections above the front seat come off easy so you effectively have a sun roof and if you want you can take the whole top off and the doors if that is your kind of thing. I'd get the bedliner OEM if possible as the FCA/Chrysler OEM bedliners are imho the best and that's 600 to 800 you won't have to spend after market. Mileage isn't great at like 17/18 mixed daily driving but I have flirted with 22 on highways in the 65/70 MPH range already and I know it will get better in the first 10K miles. The auto transmission is a dream never hunts for gears, engine brakes well down passes. And best? living in MT, there are quite a few off road trails I have had to turn back on in the past. I now will NOT have to do so. When we go to like the Black Hills and Iron Mountain Road and the Needles Highway, we can pop the top. Oh, it sucks on washboard just like most trucks put it in 4WD before even trying as it helps. I still remember how good the Renegade surprisingly was on washboard in Sand Mode. It climbs like an SOB and you will want to get an after market bed liner. Do not get a three fold one but get a good roll up version. The folding types defeat the purpose of having a bed. You can get them inexpensive (under 300 bucks) or an arm and a leg online. If you didn't get an OEM bedliner, get that at 600 to 800 bucks and your set. Update: Still loving it. It is NOT a cushy comfy ride for sure. It's more like old school cars in many respects. The Renegade we had was a surprisingly nice vehicle for four years and a very nice Montana car. It was cushy in comparison in terms of ride. We have had rams and have a 2500 Laramie for pulling the travel trailer. Now, that is a comfy cushy ride. But, the Gladiator has all the basics. AND it will go places other things won't. I don't hesitate now to make that turn off the national forest road where I wouldn't even think of it in the Renegade. Oh, and the Granite Crystal Freedom was like getting a FREE night edition. I see Jeep finally brought a "Nighthawk" night like edition out. It costs 2700ish bucks if I am not mistaken. I got mine free... Right now the best one to get is a Willy's version. It isn't a cosmetic one with a rear locker like a Mojave, raised fenders (bigger wheels) like a Rubicon, wide axles and Aux switches. It's ready to accessorize if you know what I mean.

fun in the sun
This jeep is fun. We take it 4x4, or put bikes in the back, or just slither through sandy trails. In between excursions you'll find us running errands with it because it's just fun to drive. ours only has 10k miles on it, but seems to be reliable as we don't need to abuse it just to have fun. See that steep mountain over there...or river... or sandy riverbed...go for it!
