Great StylingLove it!!!!!!!!
I should have test drove all the jeep Cherokees before buying. I love my car but after going on a trip and putting suitcases, cooler, etc in the car I wanted more room and the bigger engine. After 5 months of owning it I test drove the Grand Cherokee, yep I want the larger suv, but with depreciation on my car, I cant swing it right now.

Knock wood.....this has been a great car
I read a lot about the poor shifting of the 9 speed transmission. I haven't had the first problem with this or any thing with this car! It has only been back to the dealer for oil change and tire rotation. My ONLY complaint is that the off road tires are somewhat loud, but, they ARE off road tires and I accept that. I remain totaly happy with my choice to purchase it.

1St Time Jeep Owner
I love the look of the Latitude Plus with 4X4. I went with the 2019 because of the panoramic sunroof in all honesty. I’ve only owned the car a little over a month now, and the only draw back I have is the passenger front seat is totally manual. No power at all. I don't understand why. Other then that, I love it!!

It is not your grandpa's Jeep (Wife's)
Update: We each now have just over 61k on the his and hers 2019 jeep Cherokees with 2.0 turbo engines. We love these Jeeps. No real problems at all, just minor. New batterys and 1 each fuel filler code. No dealer visits. Getting ready for spark plug change. We have had a winter with a lot of snow and ice. The wife has made it to work in the worst of conditions. Still surprised at the amazing power they have. We use only reg fuel. /We just bought a 2019 Jeep Cherokee limited with all options including sunroof. It was a Rental with 19,000 mi. CPO. Has turbo 2.0 270hp engine. If there were problems they seem to have been ironed out. We wanted all the goodies, and it has them, with excellent warranty. We live at 5000+- feet elevation, so no loss of hp until you reach 12,000ft with turbo. With normal aspirated engine you lose 3% per 1000ft above sea level. We now 47,000 miles on this Cherokee limited and it is running great, no problems! I change oil and filter every 5k to 6k with (mobile 1 20,000 mi rated oil) and a new set of tires. Makes 30mpg at 71mph. We like it so much that I bought another 2019 Cherokee Overland with 54k miles 2.0 turbo. To replace my (14 Chrysler 300c awd with all options) Now have his and hers Cherokees!

What a great car! Or so I thought!
I'm amazed at the gas mileage. Far better then I expected for a 2 ton car. I have gotten 29 mpg. Fit and finish beautiful. Comfortable, I can drive all day. Everyone that sees it, loves it. If I had to, I would buy another one. Now that I have had the car for 2 a d a half years it's still fine. However having said that the engine blew up at 113090 miles. Yijes!! $6200. The trans shifts and clunks and clicks and the rear diff howls. And the a fine vibrates. Way to much at low rpm. Those two problems could be another 6 grand or more. Buyer beware!!

Bad car I would not recommend it to anybody
I brought a brand new 2015 Jeep Cherokee latitude on Jan 2016. After almost 3 years all lights in the dashboard came on and car won't start when it did it would make a loud noise and jump when shifting, took it to dealer and was told that the motor was too low in oil and the car did all that to protect itself from further damage. Got it fixed. When at home I notice oil inside the front passenger seat I got concerned and decided to trade it in. I bought a 2019 Cherokee latitude plus. A month after took it back to dealer with the same problem the first one had, all lights on in dashboard, not starting, not shifting everything the old one did, Got it fix and now 4 months after it was fixed it's back to dealer with same exact problem they fixed back in Nov. 2018 I bought this car brand new back on Oct. 2018, with only 17 miles. And in less than 6 months it's been in the dealer for repairs with the same problem twice. It seems to me like a factory problem but dealer won't exchange it. I can't afford to buy another car right now. I just don't know what to do, I really don't want this car anymore it's not safe and I'm afraid I will get into and accident one of these days.

2.0L Turbo. So far so good!
I am 25,000 miles into the vehicle and really have come to love the car. The engine start/stop at red lights took some getting used to, but I’ve had no issues thus far. Averaging 27 miles/gal. The interior is quiet and the features are nice. The 2.0L turbo has some great pep when you step in the accelerator. Had a issue with moisture in both tail lights, but the dealer replaced at no charge. The steering is excellent and car feels “tight” and well built. I bought the base model and did not realize it did not come with spare tire/jack, just a small compressor. I’ve added spare tire kit for about $300. The sound system is impressive for a base model. Wish I would have purchased a model with the blind spot indicator, but it comes standard on better equipped models. So far so good!

Love my Jeep Cherokee
This is my first Jeep and I love it. The cloth/leather seats are much more comfortable than the all leather. The ride and quietness are impressive. The nine speaker sound system is good, I do miss not having a CD player. I have not had an opportunity to go off road, but I am sure it will do whatever I need. I bought it to flat tow behind my Motorhome, which it does with ease. I am disappointed that the odometer racks up miles while being towed. I am going to research this further. Overall very happy I bought this vehicle. After following the directions in the owner's manual to prepare for flat town, the odometer does not record mileage while towing. This is also a V-6, which was not a choice in the original review. I still LOVE this SUV, just turned 15,000 miles, not one problem! Updated Information: 08/2019 Just turned over 26,000 miles, still no problems except a hood adjustment. Great gas mileage, comfort. Used as a towed vehicle behind our motorhome, tows great, towed about 10,000 miles with no problems.

I WISH I HAD NEVER SEEN THIS 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE !!
January 2020 - nothing has improved since this review!!!!!!! Still same problems!!!! STILL NOT CORRECTED!!!!!!!!!!! i traded in our Grand Cherokee SRT when my husband passed away and got this 2019 Jeep Cherokee limited. We never had one minutes trouble with the SRT but I could not afford the payment on it. I have had nothing but trouble with this Cherokee. I was driving north on I-35 in lots of traffic and was alone - when all at once the AC quit, the radio quit and the Nav. system quit. I fully expected the motor to quit at any minute. I was so scared. I continued driving and after about 40 miles one by one they came back - first the radio, then the AC then the Nav. As soon as I got back to the dealership I took it in. They checked and said there were no codes so they could not do anything about it. Several more times the exact thing happened. Also I would just be driving and all at once it would slow down then a message would pop up that said "place hands on steering wheel!" I had both hands on the steering wheel!!! I have never had so many scary things happen while driving a car - especially a new one. I have taken it back and called the dealership until I have lost count of the times and the same result each time. One of the times they kept the jeep 6 days and drove it 2000 miles and it would not repeat the problem for them they said. ONE OF THE TIMES I had just had it serviced at the dealership and they pulled it around for me to leave. When I got in and didn't get 20 feet when it had no AC. no radio, no Nav. so I just made a circle in the parking area and when back to the service dept. I stopped and when in to get the tech but when I got back into the jeep everything was working again - so again I didn't get it there while it was doing it!!!!!!!!!! I feel like that they think I am just a stupid woman and don't know what I am talking about. If my husband were alive, they would sit up and listen and fix the problem - but I am just a widow and alone!!! My daughter has been with me two of the times and what she tells them doesn't help either!!!!! I am needing to buy some bright yellow paint and paint a HUGE LEMON on it. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED ANY OF THESE SAME PROBLEMS. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO TO GET IF FIXED AND I DON'T TRUST IT - A BRAND NEW CAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2019 Cherokee Limited 2.0L Turbo
We are coming up on one year of ownership of this vehicle and it is proving to be just as good as the day we drove it home. The 2.0L turbo engine is powerful and delivers descent fuel economy. It's a small SUV, but despite that, there is plenty of room for 4 people and your things. Golf clubs fit in the back easily. It is very smooth and quite. Even under hard acceleration, it seems to not have to put in much effort. The engine never seems taxed, it just delivers power and torque as requested. Quality had been great, no rattles or other cabin noise and the materials look as good as the day we drove it home. The multiple drive modes work exactly as you think they should and it's a Jeep, it will go anywhere. The only slight complaint is the small delay when downshifting under full throttle, but can easily be mitigated with Sport mode, or manual shifting.

nothing like a brand spanking new Cherokee!
I previously owned a 2014 Cherokee until a tree impaled & totaled it at work, that was the best vehicle I ever owned. After that I had a new Compass (for 7 months) until the 2019 Cherokee's came to dealerships in April. I've never purchased a model so quickly before but I missed my Cherokee and had to have another new one. The 2019 does not disappoint! Has a luxurious feel inside, with plenty of room to spare. Not sure why it wasn't in the list above but mine is a Latitude Plus 4dr 4x4 with 6 cylinders not 4. Peppy, fun, stable and reliable, as well as a gorgeous exterior! I will have this car for many years, very happy with it so far. Get one!

What an upgrade!
In 2014, I ordered a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk V6 in Mango Tango Pearl for my wife. She promptly named it "Eugene". We leased it for three years (I do not purchase first-year vehicles...you never know how the market will respond to them). I chose not to order the tech package or glass roof. When the lease term was up, we traded it (with equity!) and leased a 2017 Chrysler 300S with the Alloy package. For the last two years, not a day has gone by when I didn't hear how much she missed "Eugene". Finally, the opportunity came and I traded my Ram 1500 for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Elite with the 2.0T. Wow - total transformation! As good as the 2014 was (we took it places I would have been leery of taking our quad, and never once did it see the shop save for routine maintenance and a minor recall or two). This new one is absolutely fantastic. The turbo is outrageously quick, the LED lighting is so much better than the last one that the old may as well have been candles, and the tech package never ceases to please. The only items I chose not to get with this one were the black wheels (too much money just for paint), the CD player (CDs? Really? and it takes up too much room in the console) and the factory rock rails - I'll be adding some RRO rock rails instead; I like the kicker at the rear that moves your rear wheels out of the way). The pearl white paint is not as distinctive as the mango tango pearl, but it's very attractive nonetheless, and the fit and finish are exemplary. Mama is overjoyed by "Neugene" and I have not issue driving the 300S until it's time to get my next vehicle - which is almost certainly going to be a Gladiator Rubicon. I've had nothing but Mopars now since 2011, and have had exactly 0 failures on any of them, or any reason to take them to the shop other than routine maintenance/recalls. Very, very happy with this one.

so far so great!
The incentives on this vehicle, and the fact that is was assembled here in the US were 2 reasons I took a look... Then if you can get passed consumer reports review and look at all the double green arrows on it in the columns it checks well it looks like a good bet, and so far it is. I got the v-6 as it is tried and true and was once a wards best...It truly is world class in the limited trim.. I bought a high altitude version and though it was costly by the time the $5000,.00 incentives came off it was affordable.

Occasionally Disappointed Consumer
I love the convenience of an SUV. I no longer have to wait for anyone to move things for me. I can pop the seats down and transport most everything that I need. For me, this SUV offers the exact amount of space I need for travel. My two complaints are the automatic turn off and the radio. My car has stalled a few times trying to start up. I live in the city so that poses as a hazard when I forget to turn it off. My radio has been replaced 3 times. It can sometimes take 10-15 minutes for it to start-up, the screen goes blank, it will not connect my devices sometimes and it sometimes does not shut off. I have recorded it because every time I would take it back to service, the problem didn't show up. I recently had to replace my battery and although I can't prove it, I believe the malfunctions of my radio affected my battery life! I was not happy. It was not until I started experiencing these issues that I took the time to research my vehicle. I definitely found other consumer stories that matched mine. I also will say, I never saw a testimony of the issues being resolved. Overall, I am satisfied with the SUV itself but those are two issues that really spoiled my first SUV experience. I would definitely buy another SUV but I'm not sure it will be a Jeep.

Great midsized cherokee Latitude 4 plus 4
It’s a pleasant 4WD suv to drive that will get 30+mpg out on the open road when on a trip. The ride is good for a suv this size. It will pull a trailer very well.
Burns oil bad!!
Love the car. Just make sure to check the oil every 1000-2000 miles it burns oil for no apparent reason and caused the car to stall and oil lights to come on.
Latitude with an Attitude
I love it. Turned off the "A" it was driving me crazy. I traded in my 2007 Jeep Commander and I'm getting use to not driving my tank. It was time to let it go, 142,000 miles. It was a good one. Hope the Laititude performs as well in year's to come.

JEEP LOYALTY
I still own a 99 JEEP GC that I have given to my daughter, but I wanted a new one. I ended up buying a 2019 Jeep Cherokee and I'm glad I did. She may be smaller than my GC, but it is just as powerful. The 32mpg average on the highway is a BIG plus and I average about 27-28 mpg city. I'm enjoying all the options like my Sirius XM and the hands free phone and texting I can do to keep my eyes firmly concentrating on the road. The bright, telescoping headlights are great because I live in the country where there are NOT a lot of street lights and it has prevented several collisions with farm animals and wildlife that may not have been prevented with my other vehicle. The only drawback to the bright lights is when oncoming vehicles think my highbeams are on and in-fact they are NOT. I usually prove it with a very quick flash and now all my neighbors know that I'm NOT trying to blind them. I enjoy being able to take my small family on vacations without the worry of where to put all our luggage. The rear cargo space is fairly large for a small suv. And my family can sit very comfortably in the front and back seats. It's very nice and comfortable when traveling and taking my daughter to and from college. My wife enjoys that it's low enough to the ground that it won't roll when turning corners, but it is high enough to see all surrounding traffic. The back-up camera and lane assist are an added bonus.

Burns oil and shuts down
We bought a 2019 Cherokee in May of 2018. We regularly change the oil at ~8000 miles. It stalled without warning several times after about 24000 miles. I brought it to the dealer and the problem was traced to oil level being too low. The dealership blamed it on my getting oil changes at Valvoline instead of through them. However it happened again after they did an oil change. They are now saying the engine consumes oil as part of its design, that it shutting down is a good thing as it protects the engine, and that we should just check the oil every time we fill up the gas tank like it says in the owners manual. Not what we expected with a new car!

Junk not jeep
There is one word to descripe this car JUNK. I would advise not to buy the jeep cherokee. After less than 40000 km and replaced many things exhaust, brake pads, rotors and shocks. I spent about 4000 $ too much. This car is trash and unreliable. I would rate less than a star. Emad Rizk
Comfort and Mobility
The heated seats are super comfortable for my back and are are a great addition in the cold windy mountains where I live...won't ever get another vehicle without them. The front seats actually hug you and provide excellent support on long trips. The 4 wheel drive is great in the snow(up to 6 inches so far this season),using only the stock all season Continental tires. The throaty V-6 provides more than adequate power and the 9 speed tranny helps squeeze a few extra miles from each gallon of gas(mid 20's so far here in the mountains). The large screen computer can even read your text messages to you, or just bluetooth your phone and use the hands-free feature ! You can also easily add apps from your smart phone. Have logged over 6000 miles so far and have not had to return to the dealer with any issues. The LED lighting is a super bright safety improvement...great night vision when you turn on the stock running/fog lamps....the front passenger has her own heating and cooling temp setting.

So far 8600 MI and loving it!
Traded in my rusted out Ford Edge (good ridding's) for a 19 Jeep Cherokee Limited with the 6 cyl. I did get the extended warranty due to some of the reviews but I can so far very pleased with the vehicle. Transmission is smooth, gas mileage very good, much better than my Edge and uconnect simple with easy touch screen. I did buy mine in 09/19, and was told by service recent updated to both transmission and uconnect were done. I looked at a lot of other vehicles and between the $5000 rebate and the dealership $1000 cash back this was by far the best value. I highly recommend the 6 cyl or 4 turbo and shop around, it's very competitive at dealerships right now.

Was hoping for better quality
Haven’t owned a FCA product since my 1988 K car. Leased the Jeep in December 19. Drive maybe 15 miles off dealer lot and 2 warning lights go off, lane departure and auto stop start. So take back in the next week to get fixed they flash system and give back to me. Driving home the apple car play stopped working call then say it is my phone wrong is not my phone found out it was an update that needed done. Driving to brothers in MN same 2 warning lights go off again the ones above they said they fixed. At brothers passenger door will not unlock when touched. Then while driving at night headlights go out people are flashing me so pull over and no headlights, check head light knob in car is on automatic. Had to shut Jeep off wait and then start back up lights work. Take to MN dealership they fix passenger door handle, fix a burnout headlight,(Jeep’s not 6 months old), do a complete computer reset. Everything is working great since then. Then a truck hits me at a stop sign Jeep does its job and protects me 5 stars. Get to body shop all repaired and working great. Is getting cold here and I go check tire pressure all tires low at 29 pounds to be at 33. No warning light about low tire pressure. So got to go get that checked out. But being honest don’t know if is problem from crash or another computer problem. Have to say I was hoping for better my K car was not in the shop this much. All repairs have been covered for free by Jeep and truck company paid for crash repairs. Would like to say I was going to lease another Jeep but I can’t. Going back to Toyota. My Toyota Venza 2010 that I traded for Jeep was never in the shop for repairs only oil changes and tire rotations and a seat belt recall. Have had no engine problems with Jeep which is great! I like the layout of the cabin plenty of room. Took me awhile to figure out a good seat position while driving. The back seats are very comfortable the few times I have rode in back. Just wish everything had worked like it was supposed to from factory. 8th April 2021 took in for a tire rotation and back passenger door was rubbing so ask them to checkout. They had to take off back door and reset. Door works good now. Was hoping that it would not have to be in the shop all the time. Was hoping for better quality control in Jeep’s products. Lease ends in December 21 and looking at Honda. Was hoping better from an American made product. Good thing is engine has been great! But only 19,000 miles on. Jeep was working well and had no problems since last review. But turned it in today and got a Jeep Renegade. Just didn’t trust the Jeep Cherokee with all the problems that I had had with it.

Awesome vehicle
We got ours "used" with like 4K miles on it. It is primarily "hers." It has everything you can get including the technology package that makes it an IIHS top safety pick . THAT is very important to her. We do have the 3.2 six cylinder, but towing, although not likely, could be a part of the equation at some point for a very small trailer. We just got lucky with this as it would have been exactly what I would have ordered and the deal was the best in the country on Cargurus . It is Granite Crystal with blacked out badging and with the black wheels. It is a very nice looking vehicle. As to driving, I personally put it in sport mode from the gitgo. It is obvious that the "auto" is designed for fuel economy. It is a completely different vehicle in sport mode. The sunroof is huge and it handles quite well. We haven't done any off-roading yet. Time will tell on that. It's a great car still three years later and since it is hers, it is a garage queen with less than 9,000 miles on it. Yes, you heard that right... I asked just for the heck of it what they would offer me for it about five months ago. We got it used for 31,500 with 4500 miles on it MSRP over 41K, has every single bell and whistle there is on one including tow package and every safety thing there is. But, Yes, my wife has only put about 4500 miles on it. It is pristine and perfect. We do special trips without the dogs in it and go out for dinner dressed up type things. I occasionally let it clear its lungs and (don't tell her) go hard on some National Forest Roads so it doesn't forget what it is. Oh, yeah, last July they offered me 34K for it at over three years old (2019). I don't think so...but still more than we paid for it. Amazing times. Update 4/2025 Still going strong.

Great Little Cherokee
I absolutely love my used Jeep Cherokee! It’s been almost 2 weeks and this car has been awesome to drive. It’s fast and peppy, a tad sluggish at the start, but picks up and drives nicely and smoothly. I have the Latitude Plus so the interior is beautiful. The car still looks and feels brand new. The previous owner took exquisite care of this car. I am not sure what all the complaints are about because this is a lovely and seemingly reliable SUV that has great speed for only being 4 cylinders and it gets good gas mileage.

great car
it is all about how you upkeep your vehicle i believe. It's perfect size very reliable in snow and rain. Roomy in the front i love the selec terrain. It's in awd and goes in to 4wd if needed. But there are options like auto, sport,snow,rock/mud/ sand. But you can change these on the fly as long as your going under 35.
Only on the road a week!!
I bought the 3.2 V6 engine 4x4 LOVE it. It's been a full year now, and still no complaints! I love the ride, the look, the handling, I love it all!

19 Cherokee why did I wait
Ordered a loaded overland for the wife. She loves it. Replaces Benz e400 4 matic 2016, had a great amg package but prone to pot hole flats. The turbo 4 whines under acceleration but it is bearable. Quiet and comfortable inside. Seems as large inside as my 2014 grand Cherokee. 25+ mpg on the highway, but small 16 gallon tank. Frequent stops. Also turbo requires 89 octane and only 91 is the closest near me. The full length moon roof is Kool. All the bells and whistles. So far so good. Way to go Fca and Jeep.

Zing Zing this thing's got some bling.
Bought a new black/black/black 2019 trailhawk cherokee. New to the tech (last car 2005 jag, xtype) but seems intuitive, time will tell. Ride comfort seems to be very, very good as opposed to a 2006 Ford Ranger which is about the same wheelbase and I hated that. Interior feels spacious in front seats, haven't tried the back seats. Smallish storage (boot) in back. Fit/finish seems to be pretty good, some nicer finishes & some cheap plastics. Although V6 has decent torque/HP, it's performance seems sluggish (weight/transmission?). Overall, very happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Where has all the quality gone? Long time passing.
Jeep HIGHLY recommends Premium fuel. Car listed out at 43k with tax. Limited FWD with every bell and whistle including the 2.0 turbo. You can flex the fender panels in and out with your finger. Panoramic moon roof "creaks". Almost constant squeak at the seat belt anchor between the front and rear seats. 21 mpg city, about 31/32 highway. I live in FL and the front side windows have NO tint whatsoever. The A/C is loud but does not do a good job cooling down the car. When you get in you are often pulling on the door handle material rather than the plastic door handle which you have to make a concerted effort to reach down and grab. This is my first Jeep and first SUV. The car rides well but the handling is not very responsible and the brakes are just plain mushy. The car has 2,000 miles on it. I'm not new to cars. I also have a 3 year old 911 and my girlfriend has a new Lexus 350 which was not a lot more expensive than the Jeep. I never leased a car before and I am into the 5th month of a 3 year lease. I looked at similarly sized SUV's and larger SUV's. I felt Hyundai did a nice job on the new Santa Fe but lease prices were not competitive. I also heard mixed reviews about this brand. I drove the Subaru Outback (the CVT transmission is AWFUL). We drove the CRV and there was nothing I liked about it. Maybe the new Passport will improve on it as it is larger. I am pointing out some of shortcomings I found with the Jeep Cherokee, but for it's size and the segment in which it competes, it is a pretty good vehicle. Had I needed/wanted a larger SUV there were choices I would have made other than a Jeep. The Grand Cherokee is built on an old platform. If there is one concerning area to me it is the poor performance in the IIHS crash performance tests. The Jeeps always have areas of deficit. If I had young children I would NOT own a Jeep.

Great vehicle
Driven 12,000 miles so far and has been a great ride. Drivers seat is comfortable. Road noise is minimal compared to my Honda CR-V I had. V6 gets about 30-31 mpg at about 70 mph. The transmission shifts smoothly. Ride is smooth and not overly soft. The radio connects to my iPhone via Bluetooth without any problems. Apple car play also works very good. Trunk space is a little small, if you want it for a family vehicle. It’s perfect for a daily commuter. The select-a-dial for the different modes for the 4 wheel drive works perfectly. Sport mode is really fast, but uses a lot of gas. The back seats are very comfortable. Brakes stop the vehicle easily. Not too soft or hard. Plenty of storage areas and USB ports front and back. Haven’t tried the heated seats yet. Also, power drivers memory seat linked to your key fob. Up to two drivers can be programmed. Test drove Honda CR-V, Toyota Rav 4 and Subaru Forester. Liked Cherokee the best out of all of them because of the v6 and transmission was more smooth. Only thing didn’t care for was the start stop. Have to hit button every time you start up to shut it off.

2019 Cherokee Trailhawk
I am very pleased with My Cherokee. I would strongly recommend anyone who buys a Cherokee to go for the Trailhawk. It is a very cool looking ride and it is extremely capable off road. The Trailhawk has standard: all terrain tires, 1 inch lift with off road suspension, 3.2 L V6, 4WD low with Locking rear diff. Every Cherokee of all trims come standard with very impressive headlights. Very bright at night, and a cool LED strip for daytime.

Junker junker junker
I purchased my 2019 Jeep Cherokee latitude plus fwd used in March of this year. This vehicle had 11000 miles on it. I was told I wouldn't get a better price just to get an invite to purchase a brand new 2019 Jeep Cherokee latitude plus 4x4 for $4000 less that what I bought my used one for. Any who, dealer screwed me on the price, lied to me about not having any damage when In fact it did and electrical issues which will be listed here shortly. 1. U codes u140A u1412 and u1409 2. The automatic stop/run light indicator on the dash is always going off and on 3. Back up camera majority of the time fuzzy dancing jumping up and down picture. 4. Radio fades in and out of service/ freezes will not keep time 5. Check engine light turns on quite often but once you go a few miles goes away. 6.Brake light on the dash board appears with a service note "brake service needed/ emergency brake failure/ can not engage parking brake/ and last but not least unable to adjust parking brake. 7. At one point every warning light on the dash board came alive and I mean everything. Check engine light stop/run parking brake activated/ Loss of traction and the list goes on. 8. Rear brake light lenses were cracked when I purchased the vehicle so condensation has built up the lenses. Dealer refuses to replace 9. Tires had to be replaced at 24000 miles due to alignment issues and the dealer said there's no way even though peerless tires noted the wear and how the tires were wearing. But I'm a liar. 10. Oil leak from oil filter being installed improperly from the dealer and again dealer says there's no way. 11. Transmission jumps into nuetral and will not go back into gear until the vehicle comes to a complete stop. 12. Airbags failed to deploy in a 40+ mph front end collision after the ABS Brake system locked up, causing my Cherokee to go into an all out skid thus proving the brake assist system failed because I ended up in the back of someone's vehicle. Now here I am with a 2019 Jeep Cherokee lattitude plus FWD with extensive front end damage, a new accident on my record, job at risk because I couldn't understand how the accident happened and believe it or not if the dealership would've fixed the issues with the brakes which I have pictures of not only the dash lights but a hum device which monitors the vehicle while it is running and being told multiple times by the dealer nothing's wrong and that I could've down loaded these pictures from anywhere I gave up. After many phone calls arguments and being treated like a P.O.S I can honestly say I have never had the ability to enjoy this vehicle. P.S I have the 2.4 engine and a few weeks ago we had descent snow fall and unfortunately we had to travel home and climb a pretty descent incline that was snowy packed and slippery. The traction control system sucks do to the engine not having enough power to keep the traction system turning enough to keep vehicle in motion. Hence this is where all the dash board lights came on. While with some speed going up with momentum the Jeep handled fare. No sliding no stahling just no power to cause propel motion or keep the 15mph climbing power. Needs more power and duel running or automatic locking hubs to help with loss of power and better traction.

Sporty Family SUV
After test driving all SUV's on the market, the Jeep Cherokee had the best bag for the buck, but the sales and finance staff was the reason for making the purchase!

Great Treasure or Fools Gold 2019 Jeep Cherokee
Good gas mileage, good ride, bad cargo storage for trips, rear view mirror hard to adjust due to overhead console. Warning don't buy one unless you are keeping it forever or leasing. The resale value is terrible even trading back to CJR Dealer after 8 months and 9k miles 29.5k car before taxes etc is worth only 17k. Bad value for a decent vehicle. Lease if you must have one. this is 2019 Model. Low rating due to resale value and unable to carry cargo/

First suv
This is my first suv and first brand new vehicle. I went with Jeep because I new I wanted a suv for once I figured they been in the off road business the longest so I went with em. I drove on snow and ice on my second day of owning it NEVER once lost traction I was really surprised new tires help I guess but if I was ever slipping just driving in regular auto mode it was never noticeable. I only got 70 miles on it still I know I’m giving a review way too soon. But I’m glad I went with the 3.2 v6 because nothing but good reviews unlike the 2.4. It’s fun to drive and love the huge sun roof and lighting interior when driving at night. Hope it’s good for me because I’m good with all my vehicles upkeep and routine maintenance wise. I’m not fat I’m just taller and bigger then most men and my butt is a bit too big for the front seats. That’s about the only thing wrong with it I can find so far.

Spewing oil within 20 minutes of purchase...
I got a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and took it for a drive across town to a friends house immediately after purchase. The vehicle had 25,000 miles on it. Made it around the block from my friends house and it started smoking from the hood and smelled like burning oil. Got there and opened up the hood to find oil all over the hood, the engine, the front of the jeep...coolant was nearly gone and there was no oil in it. Got more oil, filled it up and turned on the jeep with hood up to find oil spewing from a gasket all over the engine. Got it towed to a dealership and before even assessing it he said the alignment is also very off. I told them to not even fix it as I was going to be using the 7 day money back guarantee and giving it back to the dealership from where I purchased it. So...I had a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk for 20 minutes before it broke down...I am not exaggerating here. :-/

Best car I've owned in a long time
I have no idea what other people are saying so far my Jeep has not had a problem with anything. The ride is nice and comfortable easy to get in and out. It is a big step up from my old car. I can't wait to try the 4 wheel drive just waiting on some snow. And I know others that have the same year that have not had a problem with their Jeep
