Used 2009 INFINITI G37 Consumer Reviews
Having Fun!
This is my first Infiniti (loyal Lexus owner) and I am happy with my choice! I feel this is the best hard-top convertible for the money. It looks great with the top up or down. Considered and drove a BMW 335 Convertible and a Lexus IS 350 Convertible. Did not like the looks of the Lexus and the BMW was $8000 more WITHOUT a Nav system and other features on the Infiniti. PLUS the dealership was FRIENDLY and took GREAT care of me. Overall, I would highly recommend this to someone looking for the perfect blend of luxury, sportiness and value.
I've Never loved a car, untill now
I've had my convertible G37S for 2 yr. And its not quite a 4 sec. car from 0 to 60 anymore, but it will do it in 5.7 sec. It has everything i would need. Sat. radio, auto lights, auto washer and i love the proximity smart key. I feel spoiled. Its reliable as hell for an 11yr old car. Its only been wrecked once, (In a parking lot when i wasnt there) Gas could be a little better, but THATS why i didnt buy a Volkswagen.

Swiss-army sports car -
I wanted to get an ND Miata after renting one for 2 weeks on a business trip. We have 3 kids - so my wife wasn't exactly hot on the idea. The requirement was: a manual, convertible, 4-seater that handles well and is reliable. I narrowed it down between this and a 128i convertible 6mt. Glad the deal on the 128i didn't work out. I LOVE driving this car - the clutch is great, great balance and power, handling is actually as good or better than the ND Miata I drove (I think my suspension has been upgraded - it's on rails, but not too stiff). And sounds WAY better. The interior is very nice, and it fits 3 easily. this car os over 13 years old, and the stereo blows away the Miata - really amazing sound. The back seat is better than most give it credit for. I'm 5'9" and my daughter 5'6" can sit behind me comfortibly. I loved that miata, but this really is the swiss-army dad's car. Older than many nice sports cars now, but still holds its own. Only negative is the mpg. If I baby it, I get 26 on the highway and 18 in town. But it's impossible to not rev this engine at least a few times if I'm driving it more than 10 minutes - so much fun. Averaging 21 mpg now at 50/50 city highway. I could get better mpg, but I don't want to - just so much fun. Maintenance is super low - tires aren't that expensive for this model, but they are staggered. I got hifi bluetooth sorted with the aux rca input, and the in-cabin bluetooth call quality is excellent. No, it doesn't have a massive screen or the newest gadgets like lane assist, adaptice crusie, etc - but I got this baby to drive and it does it all - great on the twisties, great on the highway. Way quieter than the Miata on the highway that's for sure. I plan on driving this for a decade. If you can find a clean 6mt convertible G37 - get it while you can.

Nice car if you don't mind poor city mileage.
The car is fine. Reliability is very good. Performance is good--lots of power. Mileage for city driving is poor. I'm glad I bought it, and I think it would make a good used car.

Great Coupe!
For the money, and then some, the G37 was a hot coupe. It is now a little long in the tooth, but when it came out, and maybe even now, I am not sure what you can get for $40-45k that looks and performs as well in the segment.
