Best Car I've ever owned. Beautiful Women looking with that look in their eyes when looking at the car. They never did that with my old Honda Civic, I'll tell you that. Exterior design is beautiful, although I prefer the coupe styling the 2005 revision was a nice upgrade. Interior needs slight improvement but it is better than last year. The drive is nice & smooth. The ride is clean & comfortable, what you expect from an luxury vehicle. Also, when you want you can kick in the sport aspect with the 280 horsepower. It's a beautiful car & my friends with a new BMW 3 series or Audi A4 series are regretting their purchases now.

What an experience this car has been! The AWD performed flawlessly in a recent severe rain storm and the handling is leaps and bounds better than anything I have test driven. WAY better than the Acura TL although fit and finish on the TL & ES330 were better. The car is a lot of fun to drive but I've heard one creak and one rattle so far (only 800 miles in) which is cause for a little concern but I'm usually listening to music so it's no big deal. It's faster than anything else out there on the road so if you need passing power, this has it! The ride is "harsh" if you compare it to a Lexus or Acura because it's a lot sportier and faster than those cars. It's not perfect but damn close.

Just purchased a g35x. Love the car. Car stands out from the rest of the pack. I opted for the black with graphite interior and really believe this is the best choice. Only thing I would like to see changed is better fuel economy and possibly bluetooth. Overall really enjoy the drive.

I had the G35 2003 and the 2005 has more pickup due to the new trans. The 2003 had a delay in the acceleration. There is more room and the ride is better on the 2005.

I went through my younger years oggling the hot cars of my era (60's)promising myself that some day I would own one. Now in my 50's, and having done the four-door, luxury routine (mostly Lincolns), I decided it was my time. I learned of the Infiniti quality (absolutely tops) owning a four-door I35, and finally decided "what the hell" and bought the two door G35 coupe (auto.). Quality and exceptional performance (engine and suspension) that I dreamed of as a kid. Most exciting care I ever have owned.

Great car for the price and great performance. Other reviews complain about gas mileage but that's the trade off for the performance. I've only had the car four months, but no complains so far. If I could change anything on the car it would be only two things. A little more interior storage space, it has several compartments but they are small. The other would be another few inches of leg room for the rear passengers, if the front seats are all the way back tere isn't a lot of leg room back there. I have people in my office that have bought BMW's and Acura's and they seem to like the futures on the Infiniti more than there own cars

No complaints so far! Very fun to drive. I actually can't wait to drive to work every morning. The acceleration is acceptional and with the sport-tuned suspension in the hills, I have to remind myself that it's not a race car and to SLOW DOWN! It's been years since I've driven a sedan and I hadn't realized how good it could be.

This car is gorgeous. Wish they could have just given up the extra two horses to make it an even 300hp. Regardless it'll pin you to your seat even at 60mph. Nice interior, great features and supurb handling. Tell me the difference between this and a Porsche C2; about 30k in my pocket with a nicer better equipped car in my garage. I love my new ride. I travel for work and trust me I can not wait to get home and drive it. Go take one for a spin, you'll be hooked.

Not bad for a first car. I love the way it looks and feels. For all those who complain about how its a rough ride... you need to realize that this is a sports car and its SUPPOSED to feel that way. Don't listen to what the dealer/sticker says abouth mileage. They say 19/26 but its really more like 22 mpg MAX.

After many years of new cars, the G35x is, without a doubt, the best most classy-fun car that I've had. IMO it beats the competition (Acura, BMW, Lexus & MB) in performance, styling and value. "Classic good looks" is how Motor Trend described it I think. I know that some have commented about the quality of the interior materials on the '03 & '04 Gs ... well not to worry. The inside of the '05 G is superb ... add to this the performance and realiability and you have a winner with a capital W.

Infiniti has done a great job in revamping the 2005 compared to the 03- 04. The interior quality is 10 times better than before. This vehicle is a real head turner, that is what I love about it. The performance is great, you will hit 110mph before you know it. Also the new sport package is great, the fact that I can get a 19" wheel is awesome.

I've had the car for three months now and so far so good.Great engine, great trans, handles awesome.I got the 19 inch wheel package which is great in dry weather so so in wet weather park it in the snow. The seats really hug the driver but can be a litte uncomfortable at times.I was suprised at how functional the trunk and back seats are for a coupe. The back seats fit two average size adults fairly comfortably and the trunk holds two suitcases. The one downside is at the pumps but you kind of know that going in.

What can you say? It's the best under $35K sport sedan on the market. Drive them all like I did and make your decision. AcuraTL, AcuraTSX, BMW 3-series, Audi A4. None of these cars offer the combination of performance, value, comfort, and handling that the G35 does. This car will beat all of the above mentioned competitors in 0-60, slalom, 60-0 braking, and the unmeasurable "fun to drive" element. I can't say enough good things about this car. I'm in medical sales and put 20-25K miles/year on my car, and this baby makes me excited to hit the road. Just a fantastic all-around performer.

I've owned some nice cars (Mercedes & Lexus) over the years, but I've never found myself going to the garage to admire any of the other cars. The G35 is a nice blend of sport and luxury. However, don't expect to get the soft and quiet ride you might expect in a luxury sedan. The design of the G35 is elegant, both inside and out, but it is really a polished sports car. I went with the 18" wheels because of the design as well as the more forgiving suspension (versus the 19" wheel and sport suspension package). I've had the car a month now and am always looking for reasons to drive it. My wife says she's never seen me so eager to run errands before!

The 2005 Infinity G35x embodies what a luxury sports sedan should be--a sports car in a luxury sedan package! The 4WD handles nimbly with terrific acceleration, with the car going exactly where you want it to go. Steering and braking are sure and precise. It's a blast to drive! But the sports performance does not compromise the 4 door luxury comfort. Head and leg room are better than other cars in this class, and cargo room is much better than others. With the Premium package, the full complement of luxury features is at your finger tips, from keyless entry and starting, to heated seats, dual thermostat, to reclining rear seats. And, all this value for a price that can't be beat.

I traded my 2002 325i BMW in for a 2005 G35 coupe. The BMW is a great car, but I found it getting boring and kind of stodgy feeling. The G35 offers a sleek, modern style and wiht tons of power. I must say power is very addictive, coupled with great handling makes it fun to drive. It takes turns with much less body roll as compared to the Beemer with the sports package. The G35 is not as light or tossable as the 325i, so it takes a little of the fun away. I find the rear to slide out at times. I don't know if its the design or inadequate Dynamic control system. I like the Bose stereo, no problems and it sounds great. The seat belt is annoying as stated, but one gets used to it.

Battle of the cars; 350Z, M3, or G35. Definately G35. You've got it all. Power, Luxury, and sport. The car has a sexy appeal unlike others, the comfort is ideal, and the ride exceptional. However, turn the VDC (vehicle dynamic control) and the 298 Hp engine shows you what it's all about!! This car is a MUST have! The gas mileage could be a little better, but hey feel the torque. VERY satisfied, and I'd buy the car all over again.

This car gets better the longer you are with it! Operating the navigation system is a snap and RWD/AWD is a blast to drive! This car hauls around turns and the engine has power to spare so you never have to floor it (unless you want to :D)! The seats are super comfortable, heated seats work very well and interior is durable. I've dropped my phone, pens and books on the center console and dash area and it still looks flawless. The ride is a lot better once you get used to it but is far from punishing. The BOSE sound system can definitely hold it's own. No regrets about picking the G35x over TL and ES330. Ultra reliable car, still no problems. Noise in last review was paper clip in cup holder!

I've had my Athens Blue 6MT coupe with aero kit for 3 months now and couldn't be happier. The performance is all you could expect with the 298 horses that just keep pushing the fairly small car wherever and however fast you want it. The ride is firm (you do feel the road) but not harsh. I bought the car, so I obviously like the styling. However, this is the first car I've owned where other people comment on how much the like it. I think the rear spoiler and front dam really set it off. Also the 19" wheels on the sports coupe look great and show off the huge brakes. I got a very good price armed with my edmunds report. Would have had to spend thousands more to get the BMW I looked at.

I purchased my g35 coupe used at 27k. It has prem and nav pkgs but no sports because i live in nyc. I test drove one w/ a sports package and found it way too stiff. The handling limits of non-sports pkg are beyond anything i'd approach + the ride is better. The GPS is a lifesaver and is one of the best in the world. Very few cards can beat it in a straight line but most imporantly is the attention the exterior + exhaust gets. All of it's competitors (330Ci, Acura CL, etc) blend into the crowd. The G35C is like an exotic car on the road. Every occasion i have to drive it is welcomed. Going to get groceries is fun. I've had it only for a few days and i've already recieved many many compliemnts

The G35 coupe is the best all around sports car for the money on the market today. Performance, comfort, safety and styling are second to none. Not to mention the fun factor. The tuned sports pkg with 19" high performance tire is a must option. Two adults can ride in the back seat comfortably as well. Test drive it before you buy your next sports car

This car is fast but in my opinion not so fast off the line. I had a 04 loaner sedan while sirius was being installed and it felt much, much faster off the line and in general, the engine felt more repsonsive at all speeds? The car needs more technology, its 2005 and it has reflector headlights, no rain sensor. no memory seat,no smart key, no onboard computer unless you get the navigation. By the way the improved interior for 05 is leagues ahead of the previuos generations. This iprovement is why I just purchased the 05 coupe, traded in my BMW. Infiniti are U listening??

Leased the car up in early March, just turned 3k miles on it. Have had no problems. It's wicked fast and corners like it was on rails. Gets 19-20 MPG around town, managed 28 on a recent road trip cruising at 70-75 on the interstate. Stated out looking at the G35X but after driving the coupe my wife wanted no part of having a sedan. The back seat is very comfortable but a litte short on head room. It is usable for two adults for hour long trips. Kids (read grandkids) fit very well for longer road trips. It turns heads wherever we go. The VSC works well to keep the back end in place and when turned off allows you to steer with the your right foot. Great car!

What an incredible vehicle: sharp styling, 298hp, 6 speed manual and 26mpg on the highway were strong selling points for me. Then I drove it and I was sold--this car is powerful and its handling is incredibly tight. The car is the best value out there and you're only paying in the low 30's for it. If you're looking at Mercedes or BMW, look to spend 50k for a comparably equipped vehicle. I love my Infiniti so far.

I traded a 2003 G35 Sedan for this coupe. Can't beat the styling, but I can't believe memory seats are not offered. The exterior styling is top- notch, but interior comforts really are lacking. I think Lexus does a much better job on their interior, but their exterior styling is SO stodgy. So, I guess I can live with a few less bells and whistles on the inside, because I love all the head-turners I am seeing. I have actually had at least 20 people comment on what a beautiful car this is in parking lots in the the two and a half months I have owned it. Got the Lakeshore Slate. It's a GREAT color. Looks great day or night. For less than 40k you are not going to find a more satisfying car.

After driving a G35, RX8 and a 3 series, i found that the value for my money was the G35 coupe 6mt. The design surpasses the others, the performance upstages the beemer and rx8, and the handling is the perfect compromise between sport and luxury. Also, the dealership experience far exceeds that of other dealers that i visited.

I purchased my 2005 G coupe in july of this year brand new and can honestly say I hate NOT driving it. I get mad when i go to sleep or have to go to work because that is taking away my G time. The "American Skyline" is a superb machine and was my choice over a Subaru WRX STI and the Evolution 8. Both cars may be a bit quicker, but there aren't words to describe the feeling you get when you drive the G35. The handling is great at above average speeds and acceleration is remarkable. I would only buy this car in a manual for the simple fact that I don't think you can get the full effect of it in an auto or auto-stick. Great buy for the money.

The G35 6M is everything a car should be. It's a performance car w/ luxury, not the other way round. It has a nice growl when pushed, but quite when cruising. All the niceties are there and well designed. The car fits you like your favorite sneakers. The mp3 player is very nice and the Navi cannot be beat. I had to buy winter tires which was a drag, but the 18” do look fine. The clutch has a very quick engagement point, and was hard to adjust to after 20 years of Saab’s clutches. The environmental system is the best, arctic in the summer and toasty in the winter. VSC works very well in the rain (not tested yet in snow). Much research went into this choice, I would buy again!

The G35X is the perfect blend of luxury and performance. I had resigned myself to the 3 series until I discovered the G35. What was lacking in the BMW I found in the Infiniti. When considering price, reliability, size and style the G35X has it all over the 3 series. This car screams and is a blast to drive. I hope the AWD proves to be a worthwhile investment this winter.

Only had it a short time but I'm loving it. I also have a z3 and although nothing beats top down on the right day - this performs as well if not better and is just as much fun to drive

Great acceleration, excellent trans - best auto-manual I've tried, sweet handling. It makes my long commute very comfortable. I've read complaints about poor gas mileage, but I'm getting 24 mpg in mixed city/hwy after only 2k miles (usually mpg goes up a bit after break in). Also seen complaints about touchy brakes, mine are sensitive but I quickly adjusted. Excellent value for the $!

Antons new AWD G25x

The G25x is the best performing car I've ever owned with cars like Trans Am, Dodge Daytona and Grand Prix GTPs included. It zips to 100 like nothing and stops on a dime. Going around clover leafs with 25 mph speed limits can easily be doubled to 50. And when it gets wet by rain or snow its hard to even get the wheels to spin with hard acceleration. Best car purchase I ever made.

The quality of the Infiniti G35 is exceptional for a vehicle in its price class. Compared to my Jag S-Type V8, the Infiniti stands head and shoulders above in all categories.

I just recently bought the G35 while the 330 has been my dream car since I can remember. Giving up a childhood dream was difficult, but I do not regret my decision. The short shifter on the 6 speed manual transmission is phenomenal. The premium package gives all luxury desired, the sports package gives all sleekness needed (without being to showy or pretentious), and the aero package provides for a much more aerodynamic and stable ride, particularly when cruising down the highway at higher speeds. My vehicle comes with all these packages and has brought me nothing but turning heads. I LOVE IT!

After exaustive research is finally purchased my G35x. The car is absolutely a blast to drive. I wanted a car with true sports car dynamics, comfortable ride, and some luxury appointments. I also wanted all wheel drive, and the reliability that generally comes with Japanese vehicles. For me it quickly became clear that the G35x offered a near perfect combination of all the things I was looking for in a car for a very competative price, especially when compared to its German counterparts. Compare the statistics, and then go drive one. This car sells itself.

The 6MT G35 coupe has the perfect balance of luxury and performance. You can easily cruise around the city with the quietness and quality feel of luxury with a nice low hum of the exhaust reminding you that there is an animal inside when pushed. The car is smooth but can be rough at times (sport- tuned suspension and 19" rims) but I love the feel of the road, I feel so connected. The engine response is immediate and braking is superb. Handling is on par with the best in its class. Don't expect this car to have the luxury feel of a Lexus (interior- wise and quiet) it wasn't design that way and Infiniti did a great job balancing both performance and luxury. It's all about the experience.

After driving a Buick Park Avenue for 15 years I decided to down size and step up. Boy did I make the right decision. I enjoy my G35X more and more each day. The only complaint is the milage but I can overcome that because of the luxury of the ride. The amenities are unbelievable. I have the navigation system and the sirius radio. Both are great and I find I use the nav system constantly.I have never been happier with a car.
