My Sonata 2000
I don't believe I have had a bad experience with this car.
waste money for a 35k miles 2000 sedan
I bought this car from a first owner, then I lost the 100k miles warranty. Rear wheel bearing, left front shaft, oxygen sensor, mass air flow sensor, tps sensor, front disc breakes worn out at 45k miles too much money to spend for a 70k miles car. Speed transmision sensor dealer said $500 plus 105 diagnostic fee. Crazy waste money. I drove this car by 20k miles and I have been spended at least 1500 dollars in parts and labor. So the fabricants are supposed to put some recalls for this car. The people who knows about cars doesn't recomend me Hyundai or kia any more. I don't understand how a company advertise 100k miles warranty for this car.

My new "used" Sonata
I cannot say enough great things about my 2000 Sonata GLS V6. It has everything you could want in a automobile!! It is extremely comfortable, quiet and fun to drive! I am a true believer in the Hyundai line. I am not the only Hyundai owner in my family. It you have any doubts in the product go test drive one! You will be impressed!
Surprisingly, a great car!
My wife and I bought this car to accomodate a new baby. Two door vehicles just weren't cutting it as he got heavier and heavier. We needed a four door vehicle, but didn't want the huge payment to go with it. We searched and found this. I'm a skeptic, but when I drove it, this car handled surprisingly well. It was tight, comfortable, and had all the room of a full size sedan. We love it.
Bang for your buck
My Sonata has been great. I haven't had any major problems. It is a joy to drive. It is comfortable and has a lot of get up and go. I'm always approached by strangers who tell me that they love the styling and wonder how happy I've been with the car.
