Awesome company provided car
This car was bought as a company car by the company for me. MPG were a huge reason for the purchase and I am observing about 32 mpg (not the 42 Hyundai says you will get) however I do not drive with ECO on. Either way, this car is very comfortable for subcompact standards and is packed with features, again for subcompact standards. Personally I own a full size 07 GMC and 09 Maxima, so I know comfort. That considered, it drives very well and induces grins while driving. I recently took a trip from Raleigh NC to Balimore MD in this car and was very comfortable the entire way, keeping in mind that I am a 6'2" 290lb man. All in all, Hyundai hit the mark with this one.
limited sports car
Ok when I first got this car I thaught it would be a drag to drive because it was "fuel efficent". Well it's not, I was suprised it's a little beast. Ive broke 115 in a stock very standard model. So it is an absolute thrill for me to drive. Aside from that I love the mpg. When i cruise down the hwy at 70 I get 44 mpg in eco mode, only 33 when doing 80. My only complaint is in my residential area we have alot of stop signs so i only get 10 miles to the gallon till i get to the main roads. Its because of the quick shifts in the lower gears. Over all an amazing car.
Radio/Time Display Screen
I really like my Accent. It is fun to drive and quite comfortable. But . . . the radio display LCD is terrible! There is very little contrast in the display of dark gray and light gray, and there is no brightness control. This may be petty, but I'd like to be able to see the clock (hidden in the upper right corner), rather than the radio station that I've been tuned to for the last two hours. Does anyone else have a problem with the display screen?
Great Car
I bought my 2012 Accent 1 year ago with 52,000 on it. I had to pay 8,000 but it blue booked at around 11,000 or more. Great start right out of the gate with the dealer. I was told it gets about 38 mpg. I have been getting 30 to 35 mpg in town and on the highway I get normally 40 to 45mpg but I have managed a few 50 mpg days , I think I was using fuel tank octane boost on those days I can't recall. I really like the way the car handles but it sits very low, it has 77,000 on it now and no problems, I change oil regularly and just had the 75,000 mile fluid change with transmission and all the other fluids. Had the fuel system cleaned also. Battery is getting old and needs replaced , other than that my seats are worn and faded, I just put new seat covers on it, if you buy one I would put the seat covers on them right away. Really impressed with the car, thinking of getting the car all lubed up underneath and normal tune up asap just to prevent anything from going wrong. I hope to get 250,000 out of it or more if I can. I drive it for Uber and Lyft and its pretty good for uber trips because of gas mileage but if making lots of stops in the city 30mpg is pretty average, which is great for uber since you pay for your own gas and most cars don't get that in the city. I drove a Hybrid Ford Fusion and this car gets all the gas mileage just not a little rougher stopping and starting than an automatic or heavier car. It sits very low I have to take it in for oil changes because I don't have a jack to fit underneath and its to low to drive up on ramps.

I Love This Car, Great Buy
This is my first Hyundai that i've ever purchased. I bought this car back in August and I have to say I am very happy that I did. Its great on Gas, The Styling of the car is excellent, The Warranty couldn't be beat, and The Price was better than Models I considered such as: Mazda Mazda3, Scion XD, Nissan Sentra, and Ford Fiesta. I can honestly tell everyone that this car is the car to beat. Comfort is so-so, but I also can honestly say that if you choose to want a slightly bigger car the Elantra is a car i almost purchased. Lets see how well my Accent performs in later years. hope this helped.
