Power steering failure!!!

This car is NOT what I thought it was. I fell in love with it when I first got back in August. Then two days ago, while I was making a sharp turn, the wheel suddenly became extremely heavy and tight to turn as if there was no assist. I had to use all my strength and accelerate in order to make my turns safely! After 10 minutes the steering softened up again. However, yesterday as I was making a u-turn it happened once again! My car is currently at the dealer and I should be hearing from them tomorrow. I am hoping they find something wrong because this is NOT NORMAL OR SAFE! This is not the first complaint about the power steering either, meaning there must be more out there!

Had my 2012 for about 2 1/2 years - she came with 101k miles and has roughly about 156k Redbone electrical system is starting to fail, the front bumper is coming off, but overall, it is a good car. No Bluetooth option either - it’s literally a basic car to get you to and from

Not happy at the moment

I bought my car because I couldn't come close price wise with the american car dealers. Within 3 days of purchasing my car, the Transmission had to be replaced. I would have rather got the manual transmission but they are like a needle in a haystack. That is what the low price represents. You end up paying way more with the automatic. I called Hyundai to try to get a new vehicle since the brand new one I bought lost a tranny in the first week. No way! I just put in gas and got 31.5 MPG on exactly half highway driving and using the Active Eco Mode. I don't expect I will ever get the 30 city that they say they get.

This is my 3rd HYundai and first disappointment.I bought it for the MPG. Just getting 33 with ECO on hghwy 28 in city and dealer said it was because its cold? Dealer said 40mpg and some people getting47?? Most trips at 60deg. Tried to buy extra key only at dealer for $100 and not available yet? NO sparetire just a run flat can with cig liter pump, which should be fun in cold weather, CHEAP. Hood release right by knee and I have hit it many times on exiting, pain in A. AC control in fan button and hit many times by accident. Poor vision for rear window and better to remove head rests to improve. Other little stuff but out of characters.Test drive well before you buy.

Pros: I do love this little car. So does my son who just got his driver's license. GREAT mileage - have hit 47.7 on the highway with only me and no cargo in the car. Great handling. Good headroom. Cons: Poor rear visibility. Headlights don't light up front side of car, so can't see into where you're turning until you've already turned. Tires get flattened very easily - can't even count how many I've replaced. And they are not cheap. Around 80,000 car became very loud inside while highway driving. have to yell to people in the backseat for them to hear. My 6' 2" husband gets leg cramps on long drives, even with the seats pushed all the way back.
