Retirement Gift to Self
This is the best bang for the buck for a true sports car. When I run it in the mountains it wants to go harder than I am willing to take it and I run it pretty hard. The Corvette I drove had more power but inferior fit and finish compared to the S2000...and a much higher price tag. This is a fine true sports car in every way.

S2000 Keeps on giving
The S2000 is not for everyone. It can be noisy and it's small, but it handles great and is a lot of fun to drive. The resale value is above any car in it's class and undervalued by everyone including edmonds. Kelly blue book was the closest to suggesting the correct value.

If you like to drive a car.....
I found a Laguna blue 2007, 73k miles listed on 'True Car' for $18,400 by Alpha Motorsports in Manassas Virginia, just outside DC. Carfax.... clean title, 2 owners, 2 right front accidents, no air bag deployment. K&N intake and HKS exhaust system, rear factory spoiler. This was the first time I flew somewhere to look at a car, not knowing the seller or the car, at a dealership. Beautiful car, clean, paint and leather seats looked almost prefect, new top, good tires. Took the car for a test drive, then put it up in the air to check the collision repair for any frame damage, no damage found...very clean undercarriage, no rust, wheel bearings all felt good, no engine or transmission leaks, axle boots good. The only problem I found was the car was going to need new brake rotors/pads front and rear in the next 2000 miles. They brought the price down to $18,000. So I bought the car and drove it back to Florida, non-stop, except for gas,18 hour drive, 912 miles. I did some upgrades....... slotted and drilled rotors, aluminum radiator, oil cooler, timing chain tensioner, strut bar, Eibach springs, factory lip spoiler, and carbon fiber wrap on some interior trim....Easy to work on, parts are reasonably priced, and it's reliable .....a solid well balanced car, probably the best all around car I've ever owned, great brakes, handles great, not the fastest car I've owned, but it has a nice balance of power and handling. It's definitely a car that was designed by someone that loved to drive and feel the road. Update..... It's 6 years and another 14k miles,, since the purchase of the S2000, and I feel even better about the car. Super reliable, just one minor fix. The radiator temperature sensor died. With an OBD-2 code scanner it was an easy problem to diagnose and fix. The value for the S2000 keeps going up....So if you're thinking of buying one, don't wait too long! Thank you Shigeru Uehara for designing such a great affordable sports car!

Honda S2000 - Real Sports Car - Honda Reliability
If you want a sports car to have fun with, to enjoy those sunny days, to take thos weekend cruises or, to just play...this is what you need. First, it is a Beautiful Little Car. Even as it is now 12 years old, I get lots of people asking me what it is and are admiring it. I must mention that my car is a “GARAGE QUEEN” - Kept covered in the garage and, NOT a daily driver!!! The Original Paint Honda applied is still like new with regular cleaning and maintenance. This car is reliable, Fun, Fun, Fun and a joy to own. This is a highly desirable car for Jim-Cana racing. It has held its value better than almost any car out there!! Most importantly, it is a Sports Car with Honda Reliability!!!

The Car I cann't get rid of.
I purchased my 2007 Silverstone S2000 new back in 2007. I only drive it when the Sun is shining and no rain in site. Every time I buckle up and hit the Start button the car comes alive and wants to play. This car makes you feel like you are part of the car. The only modification that I made to my car was installing a K&B cold air intake, which adds an additional 10HP - 15 HP. What a difference when the engine hits VTEC. The sound and the rush gets you pumping this addon should be on all S2000's. I am 70 years old now and I get these feelings evetime I hit that Start button. If you like driving you will love this car.

Great Roadster
Always have lived high revving, extremely balanced sports cars. This gem from Honda doesn't disappoint. Transmission was butter and the high ROM recliner was an adrenaline booster. Cornered like nothing else and could get up to 150 mph with ease. Great fun.

S2000 most fun you can have with your cloths on!
I have a GPW (Grand Prix White) 2005 with tan interior. Second owner, have had it since 06. This is just one fun ride that makes you remember what it is to drive a car. Manual 6 speed requires more than just putting it into drive and pushing right peddle to go and left to stop but you are really rewarded for that extra effort, if you want to call it that I just call it driving! Takes corners like it was glued to the pavement and reving the engine into VTEC is what you live for. I really wish they would come out with an affordable little gem like the S2K again but I am more then happy to have my 05 until that day comes. Honda reliability to boot you really cannot ask for more. If you can find one in good shape you owe it to yourself to take it out for a spin and see what you think!
Mixed bag
Interior excellent and all stock. Exterior is mixed. Windshield has several significant rock chips. Paint behind front wheels shows clear coat rock chips but otherwise good condition. Underside does show evidence of mild corrosion from being driven on chemically treated roads. Front tires date to 2007. Rear tires date to 2013. Drives fine, very low mileage, and is all stock but be prepared to invest anther $2k in this one including a good cleaning of underside. Definitely not an Arizona car.

My S2000
I leased my S2000 for three years. It is a fun car to drive but it is not economical. It has power but it doesn't have much room for anything. I guess as long as you are single and are not planning to go on a trip with it, then you are ok. Otherwise, there isn't much room in the car or in the trunk. I could never get a suitcase to fit. Again, it is a great car but perhaps for college kids, who have time to drive around and are skinny enough to fit in it. I always had to watch who I offered a ride to, not everyone will fit in it.
Hurting at 3 yrs.
I love my 2007 s2000...BUT now it's 3yrs. old and has lots of issues. Rattles,Poor Gas Mileage,Had spark plugs change twice now and car is under warranty, but that's not included! Now it's in again in less then one week and engine light keeps coming on and every time an issue! This time the engin is being taken apart. FYI Now the car is not cheap and the repairs are worst. I'm looking to rid of it before it needs tires. One and only driver and not used as a racer. I bought this car from all the great reviews I read, but no longer feeling it.
Fun ride!
After driving my BMW convertible for 12 years, this car has made me realize what a true sports car convertible should be.
