2018 HRV Happy With My Purchase But .........
I have had this car for a little over 1 year. Miles at 17, 700 what I do not like is the noise: buzzing rumble ( not sure how to describe ) it makes between 25 mph and 40 mph especially on going up a incline or hill. To me its still a new car and the noise is disturbing. I asked at inspection and dealer said nothing wrong ????? I find that hard to believe. Anyone else have the problem. The noise is not going away. My last Honda made no noises. It was a 2012 CRV. Before that a Corolla no noises from it either. I am going to insist they come with me so they can hear it. I can not imagine its supposed to do this. With all this being said I do like the car. I want to get the noise to disappear. It’s been. 2 years and I am still happy but car still make a noise while driving 20-35 mph especially during colder months going up a hill. I do let cat warm up. I guess it’s just gonna be this way. I have never test driven another one to compare. I have mentioned this at both inspections but dealer said they could not hear noise ? Could have a little more power going up hills. A tad more leg room in front. I still like it.

Great SUV/ Crossover
Quite happy with the HRV LX 2wd. Good price, handles well and very comfy quiet ride. Just had a massive snow storm and the 2wd was totally fine in the thick snow. I had to be more careful and drive much slower than normal but didn’t miss 4wd at all.

Better than expected!
Don't bother reading the "Expert Reviews" floating all over the Internet. Go test drive the HRV. If you like it, buy it. In fact, if you like the HRV, you will soon love it. The car will grow on you within a couple days, and soon become your new best friend. The engine is built in Japan, and has among the best long term reliability of any on earth. If you live in north country, get the All Wheel Drive (AWD). It gives awesome control in ice and snow. We have an 18 year old Honda with AWD, and its reliability is the #1 reason we choose Honda again. To add, our HRV gets 29-30 mpg in city driving. Pretty awesome.

Vibration in front passenger seat while idling
We really like pretty much everything about the car, including the magic seats, fuel economy, and easy to drive. A huge issue that the dealer is unable to solve is the extremely annoying vibration in the front passenger seat while the car is running and parked. The dealership folks said it's something that we have to learn to live with and is an issue in the HRV. I believe that Honda should provide a recall repair for this aggravating seat vibration.

HR-V = High Rated-Vehicle
My new HR-V is my fourth Honda, but my first 4-door, my first SUV. I could not be more happy with my choice. I am so impressed with the spacious interior and reconfigurable cargo areas, as well as the luxurious finishes and high-end technology standard on this model. And, with the CVT and ECON mode, I regularly realize average fuel efficiency that exceeds the posted 29/34. Marketed as a “compact” utility vehicle, the HR-V is the perfect transition vehicle, after driving civics for 25 years!

I want to love it but....
The Honda HRV is exactly my style and I would love it except it makes a horrible "buzzing" sound when accelerating usually between 25 mph and 55 mph. It isn't a constant sound but happens often, especially after turns or curves. The sound has gotten worse and worse. My car only has 5500 miles on it. The dealership says it is a known problem with the 2016-2017 HRV's and they have been working on it for 2 years with no fix and basically there is nothing they can do about it. Surprise the problem still exists with the 2018 and my guess is the 2019 will experience the same issue. It is a very aggravating sound and makes for an unenjoyable driving experience. My suggestion is to stay away. You might get lucky and your car won't have this issue but if it does there is basically nothing you can do about it short of trading it in!

Great Choice
I looked for 4 months at several different cars/small suvs and finally decided on the Honda HR-V. It's not as peppy as some but I'm not a race car driver so all is good for me. I am VERY pleasantly surprised at the gas mileage - I am averaging 29 to 30 mpg. There is one downside - I purchased the top of the line model and the feature that programs a garage door in the rear view mirror was not included. I did not think to ask about this at the time but assumed it would come equipped with that upgraded mirror. It did not. That is the only issue. This vehicle did not come with a volume knob for the audio and a few times I caught myself reaching for a knob to remind myself it doesn't have one! Adjusting volume up and down on the steering wheel is not an issue and very comfortable to do. Just had to re-program my brain! - You can also adjust volume on the screen if you want the passenger to do it. And one other very nice feature: right turn/lane change camera for the blind spot. That is very cool. I can't speak to repair issues yet as I haven' had the vehicle for long. But it is a Honda. I don't expect any issues.

Honda HRV performance
We just purchases a HRV LX and the power was better than expected after reading multiple review of lack lusting power. Try going uphill on the freeway and have the zip with no lagging like a Prius. Did not notice any excessive noise that was written in the reviews. Just had to address these two cons in the review cuz I was skeptical after reading the cons... You need to try the Honda HRV and see for your self. The electronics are decent LX, EX offer additional perks with better trims, sunroof, keyless entry, touchscreen controls and etc... MPG looks impressive. Car looks and feel like the real deal.

2018 Honda HRV
I was really interested in this model when Honda first came out with it. Once I was finally able to get it, I was extremely impressed and it was everything I thought it would be. It is typically only me in the car, but I do occasionally take trips with my boyfriend and our two medium sized dogs (~35 pounds). I always lay the seats down for them and place a crate and bed in the trunk/back seat space for them and they still have plenty of room for them to stretch out. The car is great because it is higher up, but its still a compact car, which makes it very easy to get into tight parking spaces. I also love everyone's surprised look when they realize its a 4 door car and the handle for the back doors is higher up.

Not a Corvette, but not a Prius either!
After 15 years driving her beloved 2003 RAV4, my wife was ready for an upgrade. Technology was a no-brainer improvement over having none. I personally hate all constant velocity transmissions (CVT) as I am old school. This car would be more powerful with a decent 5 speed, but AWD requires the CVT, so AWD won out. Other than the CVT, this is a really innovative vehicle and we both love the back seat configurations for storage space. If you want small, and you prefer to sit up higher than most sedans, this is the car. The styling is sexy and sleek with off-road clearance. The "transformers" looking, over-styled Toyota C-HR was just too bizarre looking. The HR-V was well priced and sporty around town, but no passing gear AT ALL.

Compact SUV Feels Like a Car
SECOND UPDATE: I've had my car for a year and a half. Unfortunately, it has had 2 major collision repairs -- one due to a boulder that wasn't pointed out and the other to a collision with a deer. Fortunately, the parts were available -- including the pinstriping -- and my car looks brand new again. These collisions did not affect the performance of the car in any way. Since my last fill-up, I've been experimenting with NOT having the Econ mode on. I am noticing better pick-up and, oddly, the mpg is remaining the same. Therefore, I'm not quite sure what purpose the econ mode serves, as I thought it was to conserve energy and boost the mpg. Hmm. I still love my car; it looks just like more expensive cars at a better price. And, Honda's reputation for the longevity of its cars is still one of the main reason I bought my HR-V. UPDATE: I've now had the car for 6 months, and I still love it. It's done very well in snowy weather, and it heats up quickly. But, I've noticed a drastic reduction in the miles per gallon that I'm getting; it had consistently been between 30-36 mpg when I first got the car, but it now struggles to get 25 mpg. I'm hoping that this is because the car works harder in the winter & because of the change to winter fuel. I've had the opportunity to use the defroster, and the fact that the rear defroster also defrosts the side mirrors is a great benefit. I hadn't really planned on buying an SUV as I don't feel that, in a relatively flat state, it's particularly necessary. But, I was tired of not being able to see around the cars next to me at lights and stop signs, so I gave in. I didn't want anything too big, and I wanted it to feel like a car. My immediate previous car was a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic that I inherited, but before that, I had a 2009 Honda Fit. I LOVED the Fit. (The Sonic, not so much, except for the Bluetooth.) So, I was excited to see that Honda had a compact SUV; it felt like coming home. Unfortunately, they did not use 2 of the Fit features I really liked: the numerous cup holders (especially by the vents) and ample cabin storage. The HR-V has only 2 cup holders in the front (but bottle holders in the doors. Very odd.) and virtually no storage, except for a tiny space inside the arm rest. There are USB ports, but they are very awkwardly placed behind the gearshift -- which, for whatever reason, is up rather high. The other annoyances are that, in the non-navigational model, there is no compass. And, for some reason, they chose a dial for the speedometer, rather than digital numbers. The other thing I don't like is that, if you choose to leave the setting so you can see the mpg, you have to be on Trip A; you can't have that paired with the odometer. I also wish it came with lane/backup warning; there is a good backup camera, but it doesn't make a noise if something is in the way. Lane warning is not available on cars for the U.S. And, while I don't find the entertainment system particularly difficult, it is annoying that it ALWAYS displays the safety warning and then all the various choices each time you turn on the car, rather than defaulting to the last screen setting. It will play whatever you last had on, though. Onto good things: First, it came with Michelin tires. My dad was most impressed by that. It gets great mileage: I've consistently gotten 30 mpg in the city, and the rare times I've been on the highway, it's gotten up to 36 mpg. I also like the economy button feature: while some have complained that it makes the car feel sluggish, I don't find that to be the case, although I do turn it off when merging onto a highway, as it will give a little burst of energy. The seats are very comfortable. Shortly after I got the car, a friend and I took a 4 day road trip and neither of us was uncomfortable. The driver's seat adjusts up and down, as well as back & forward & sitting to more reclining. I rather like that the armrest slides, although if you move it up, you lose access to one of the cup holders. The cup holders are also unique: you can adjust them to be deep for bottles or shallow for cups. There is also ample cargo area storage, and the seats fold into a variety of positions. And, not as important to others but it was to me, the HR-V is nice looking, with its shorter hood and rounded body style. It feels roomy inside as well. All in all, I am pleased with my purchase. I feel confident in the car's reliability and safety, and I'm amused by its keyless entry and operation.

Edmunds???
I own a Honda HR V and couldn't be more satisfied with a car in this class. After reading the expert reviews by Edmunds I could not disagree more concerning their cons. Acceleration? Are we on a race track? Nothing sluggish about this little cars gitty up. Not user friendly technology? Seriously? Were you expecting mind reading capabilities? I've been in top end vehicles and the technology as well as climate control will compete with the best of them. Engine noise and vibration? Were these experts driving the HR V or test driving a riding lawn mower? At start up there is little vibration to the point of being insignificant. While at idle and while driving motor noise little to none. When you park make sure you've turned the motor off it can hardly be heard. I really like this little SUV.

Love the style and size.
Love the style and perfect size. Does very well in the snow. Does not go up hills or around corners well. I have it in the shop. Only 700 miles. Makes grinding noise when ecselerating. Not sure they will find the problem. 😬

This 2018 Honda HR-V Rocks!
The 2018 HR-V EX-L with Navigation I purchased, has all the safety features I wanted, is the perfect size for me as I wanted an Suv easy to maneuver, making parking easy; gas mileage is good for a vehicle of this size. I love the interior features (leather-trimmed seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, display audio with navigation, voice recognition, multi-view rear camera, etc.),and the exterior has a sharp look. I chose the color Modern Steel. The ride is comfortable. Oh, the automatic climate control system is outstanding- makes it comfortable for back seat riders!

Uhm...No
I bought my 2018 Honda HR-V brand new with 4 miles on it at the end of December, it is September now and my vehicle has been in the shop THREE times. The first time I was driving about 50 MPH and I was trying to roll down my front passenger window, and all of a sudden...BOOM CRASH! The entire window fell inside the car the door and broke/cracked. I take it to the dealership and they keep the car for 5 days to try and fix the window regulator. I take it home after it's "fixed" and the door/window sounds horrible! I take it back and apparently now the window needs to be replaced and the run channel in my door is broken, along with the regulator again....and now they keep the vehicle for another 7 days. Now, I took it back a third time 6 months later because I noticed by front passenger door was rattling and the window is wobbling when I try to roll it down. It has now been in the shop for 2 days for another regulator break, broken door panel clips and loose speaker boundary brackets. I heard that Honda is one of the most reliable vehicle brands and it is NOT living up to standards. Beware that plenty of things could go wrong with this thing and I regret buying it.

2nd HR-V and love it!
This is actually my 2nd HR-V, my first was 2016 and I have a business so I used it alot and has lots of highway miles. Very economical for me and spacious. My only complaints are the seats make noises sometimes and I'm not a large person either so a little odd especially 2nd time around and as another reviewer stated the backup camera needs to be cleaned regularly with this year model. I do wish the seats were a little more comfortable since I'm in my car 9-10 hours a day driving. But, for the price it's a decent SUV and it has great leg room and plenty of trunk space with the magic seats that have definitely been handy for my business needs. I personally like the mulberry color and like how it looks dark grey on overcast days and on sunny days it's amethyst with rainbow flecks. This car is a great SUV especially for the price, it can't be beat. I owned an older Matrix before switching to Honda and I prefer hatchbacks. I'm already thinking of trading in my 2018 for the 2019. Happy Honda Driver😁

A Honda disappointment
Honda you can do much better than this! We are past owners of Honda. First one, 40 mpg, next ones, 30+ mpg, HR-v, 24-28 mpg. This small of car should be getting well into the mid 30's. Short wheel base makes choppy ride. 6 more inches to length would give proper amount of storage space in back. Not enough for more than two people's luggage. Motor is somewhat loud, about the same as our pickup truck. Does not even sound like a Honda engine. Handles very well. Also steering is very good. Under powered, maybe put Civic turbo in? I hope they make good changes in the 2020 model.

I should not be here
After having major back surgery in 2017, I battled with how low my civic was to the ground and trying to drive and enter/exit out of my car without pain. I knew that I needed something higher off the ground. I settled with the HR-V..2018. While I was disappointed with some of the notes cons of this yr/model, it was a perfect fit. At the beginning of March I was involved in a tragic accident. My vehicle was totaled. I should have died based on the photos of the damage to the vehicle. Kudos to team Honda for creating great safety features...airbag technology. I was Spared and suffered only a few internal broken bones. No scratches, no surgeries, no stitches...not even a bandaid. Once I'm healed up I will purchase the 2019. The EX has the sensing systems as standard. I've experienced first hand the safety Honda puts in their vehicles...at almost the worst case scenario.

for S&M drivers only
if you like being in pain after a long commute this is the car for you then. For some reason Honda decided to default on the design and position of break and gas pedals which makes driving it a torture. After 3 months of 40 miles each day i still cant get adjusted to it. My right leg shin is killing me and i cant seam to find a comfortable position. the only one that remotely works is when my seat is in the lower position and almost all the way back. But then , i cant reach the steering wheal so go figure. A colleague of mine had the same complaint but when we brought it to the dealer( we actually bought it from same dealer) they of course said that no one has complained about it ever. of course. i recently got into Honda Accord and can tell you that immediately I noticed the difference. so Honda should definitely look into this. One thing i did which helped a bit was elevating the floor on the drivers side by adding padding under the mat. it made it a but more comfortable but it took good 3 weeks of adjusting it. And whats with the air vents on the dash board??? The person who came up with that idea should return all the money they got paid for it. also, very lazy on acceleration. and no where close to advertised MPG

Great car overall though a few minor annoyances
We leased a 2018 Honda HRV for 3 years. We were initially looking at the Honda CRV, but hadn't realized at the time how big it had gotten. We were very pleased to find the HRV. It is a perfect size for a "mini SUV". We put 57.000 miles on it in 3 years and it has performed great. No repairs at all! My favorite feature are the back seats, which can flip up towards the back to give lots of space for cargo, especially tall items. Some of the annoying features are: 1. the console between the seats takes up a lot of room and there aren't a lot of spaces for things. CDs don't really fit in the area provided, and the USB connectors are difficult to access. 2. The headrests in the back seat are very uncomfortable. It is nice that they push down so that the driver can see out the back window when no one's in the back seat. But when they are up, they are not comfortable for passengers. 3. The door handle for the backseats, while they look really cool, are inconvenient. Especially if I'm holding a bunch of packages, I can't reach up high enough with heavy bags to open those doors. We did love this car, and had we not leased it and put so many miles on it, we would've purchased it. But we traded it in to the dealer for a car with less miles.

Great Little Car
Bought mine in 2017. Over 30,000 miles on it. Never been in the shop yet except for maintenance. Don't listen to the reviews. Mine is a 2wd with CVT. Plenty of power for normal use. It's not a sports car or is it supposed to be. I do question how many miles the CVT is good for. I heard they are expensive to replace. Also, been having a mildew smell from the AC. Replaced the cabin air filter (takes 45 seconds to do), dealer wanted $100.00. Sprayed Lysol in the intakes, but the smell remains. Anyone else have AC issues? Been 4-years now since I purchased my HRV LX FWD. After 70,000 miles, I have not had one issue with it at all. Everything has and continues to work flawlessly. Since 2021 is the last year of this design, I am going to trade my 2017 in for a 2021 and continue to enjoy it for many years to come.

Car sings when going around curves
When going around curves between 40 and 55 mph car makes distinct humming noise that is very irritating. Honda dealer has checked out and hears the noise but can't figure out a fix. When you purchase a new car- this shouldn't happen.

Update on this review 21/2 years later.
Shame on Honda for the very cheap cloth interior used on the doors and headliner! What they charge for the vehicle and then they use the cheapest quality cloth. Makes you wonder where else they cut corners in the car you don't see! The seats are very uncomfortable-not good for a long drive. It had really good interior room for its size. But, not enough good points to keep it. I will never buy another Honda. Initial quality not so good. I didn't want to chance the "long haul" with this vehicle, so I traded it in early on a Hyundai Tucson. What a wonderful difference! I will save the rest on this when i eventually do a review on the Hyundai. If you are considering the HR-V, do more research first, ...just saying!

Great alternative to a big SUV
It’s a great option price wise if your looking for a size upgrade from a civic but don’t need as much space as a standard SUV. 2 car seats fit comfortably in the back seat. The standard of Bluetooth and back up camera is so nice. The rear seats are split and fold down which is great for grocery shopping or packing a stroller. It has a decent rear space even with the back seats in use. Our family of 4 really enjoys this cars comfort and safety.

One of the best
I bought it new with 10 miles, now has over 169,000 miles and still running like a champ, only changed engine and transmission oils air filter, changed front breaks only and tires.
No zip
I just bought an HR-V and I like it a lot. It's roomy and has all the bells and whistles I wanted and then some. I am full-figured woman and I have had no problem with the comfort of the seat. I've only been driving locally, so I can't speak to their comfort on a long term trip. So far my 2 complaints are : 1. It sucks when it comes to acceleration. You will not be the first person off the line in a race or at a light. For real, it's a shame a car that looks like it should have some zip and whip action to it, absolutely does not. If you don't believe anything about this car, believe this.....acceleration is not its strong suit. However, once you get up to speed, it's a nice ride. My other complaint is the location of the USB and electrical plug. For some ungodly reason these items are like behind the console. You can't just be driving and plug in a USB because you will need to have your head under the front dash to reach it. It is sooo inconvenient, I have no idea why they placed these items down there. So far, these are my 2 biggest issues. If you can get beyond them, then you will be buying a great little compact SUV.

Gotta love it!
This car has plenty of power for highway merging, fantastic, versatile cargo capacity, great visibility and secure handling in all weather. The AWD kept me from getting stuck in a saturated grassy parking area and served me well in ice and snow. The seats are very comfortable. It's compact size makes it easy to park, even when that means urban parallel parking. There are a few cons. I wish it had Apple Carplay. The 2019 model does. Gas mileage is so-so, though pretty good for an SUV. The door and center console storage areas are pretty small. Overall I love this car!

2018 LX, good but not great
Within the first year I did have a freon leak in the A/C system, and the window regulator had to be replaced. I also notice a squeak noise when first starting the car in the morning. Kind of sounds like a belt noise. Other than that the car drives well and gets good gas mileage. The CVT can be jerky at slow speeds but it may just be normal behavior for CVT's.
Worse car I have ever bought
I was not told before buying the Honda that it has dots on the driver's, passengers, and back windows. It is very distracting. I was told I just needed to buy non polarized sunglasses. The car feels every bump on the road. The seats are extremely uncomfortable and the head rest are terrible. I tried to get my money back for a different suv but the Honda dealership would not offer that. I really hate this car and I don't recommend it too anyone.
Get a CRV
We were looking at a CR-V but I didn't like how big it was. I liked the more compact design of the HR-V. Too bad. Screwed that up. Turns out this car is the idiot cousin of the CR-V. I didn't realize how pathetic the torque is and it is only 147HP compared to the CR-Vs 187. The gas mileage is terrible and I haven't been able to get above 24mpg. A lot of the little stuff doesn't work right. The windshield spray just kind of piddles out; the heated seats take forever and don't seem to heat well on the lateral side; the console is not compatible with Android and has only limited functionality. Acceleration sucks, ride noise is loud, blah blah blah. About 3000 miles ago it developed some weird whirring noise when shifting into 3rd and the techs say there is nothing wrong with it. I recently got stuck in a bunch of slush because the antilock breaks locked down on me and I couldn't get out. Basically we got a fully loaded nice looking lemon, as far as I am concerned. I don't even feel like noting any of the cool things, except for the cargo space via the fold down/up seats; that is cool, fine.... It's a pretty pathetic car and I can't wait to get out of the lease, which is another two frickin' years... ***update*** We traded the HRV-EXL in for a CRV-EX! It's great! We love it! Better gas mileage and has all kinds of neat things that the HRV didn't. Maybe 2019s are better but who cares?!? So happy to get out of the HRV! Waaaaayyy better rate on the lease too.

What is Honda Thinking???
This car has less than 24,000 miles on it. So far, the IPC display has had to be replaced and the paint has started to bubble up and peel off. Never again would I buy a Honda.

finished lease content :)
Me and my partner replaced my 1999 subaru legacy wagon with a high spec silver EX HRV 2 and a half years ago, and are leaving the lease very content with the vehicle we named Migi. I beat it every single time i drove it; nailed it from stop sign to stop sign, and it took it with stride without much effect on MPG. I don’t usually beat my cars but the anemic powertrain paired with the fact that i knew i wasnt buying the vehicle post lease, i drove this lil car with total disrespect. Interior looks really modern and almost classy till u realize its a hard hollow dash and the doors are covered in an uncleanable cloth where all hand contact is made most. Heated seats were nice and worked fast... but thats the only compliment that can be given to the seats unfortunately, well besides the versatile rear magic seat that made my move a breeze! Road noise and interior rattles were poorly managed thanks to the oversized rims and low profile tires (that LOVE to pop), but the plain jane 6 speaker stereo drowns it all out pretty well. At full volume the speakers did tend to rattle the windows, and not in a good way. Ive read of people online having issues with their HRVs windows/staying on track, and i absolutely believe it. By the end of the lease the driver window, among other interior bits, seemed kinda sketchy and rattly. Doesnt seem like the interiors gunna hold up so well in say, 10 years. Now some of my favorite aspects of the HRV was the sharp styling on my EX. (blacked out wheels and trim) With the metallic lunar silver and black trim combo it looked like a mini acura, very sleek. Also really loved the size of the trunk too, always impressed people when i opened the trunk of this seemingly small suv and they saw the large opening and very respectable cargo room. Speaking of room, I loved that I never felt cramped in the front or rear seats. Honda managed passenger space very well for all occupants in the HRV. Me and my partner are over 6 ft and 270 lbs and never had a gripe about seat space, although the cloth driver seat looked pretty tired upon lease return. Now my favorite thing about this car was how absolutely safe i felt in it at all times. In snow, rain, whatever, i never felt unsure of the vehicle and its movements. The handling felt tight and secure always, making me very confident in my daily use. Its a sure footed small suv in a class of mostly clumsy competitors, some of which may offer more compelling engine options though. Gunna miss nice carefree long vacation trips to Pennsylvania with my Migi :)

Test drive wearing your sunglasses
The two front side windows and rear window have flower-patterned shadows. You need to wear sunglasses to see them. I was required by eye doctor to wear sunglasses while driving. These windows affect my driving. They are very annoying especially driving on seaside highway and you like to enjoy the beautiful beaches and seas. The Honda of Pasadena said they were normal and refused to replace them with clear windows for me.

The best small(er) SUV for the price
Bought a used 2018 Honda HR V EX AWD back in April 2021. I have been pleased so far worh my purchase. I like the sunroof because my old Mini Cooper had one and it is a nice feature. It did come off track at one point and the Honda dealership fixed for me. They said its an issue with these cars. I.also had a rattling sound under the passenger side when accelerating from 35-55 mph which was annoying and also is a known flaw with these cars. It actually stopped making the noise a few months back so I'm thankful for that - fingers crossed it stays that way. The cargo space is nice and has a lot of room with the seats folded down. The heated seats are a nice touch in the cold months of the year. The stereo/sound system is clear and has a CD player/ Bluetooth / USB which I really like and use all of them frequently. I've only had to do the regular matienance i.e..oil change / tire rotation / alignment / fluids / brakes and the car is running great. I did learn that with AWD you have fluids that need to be changed out in the back axle to keep it working properly - it's a little pricey but worth it and once you do it doesn't need to be done again for a long time. I have replaced the wiper blades and I would recommend using the same Rain X stock ones that come standard with the vehicle when you do. I do a lot of driving for work and I know that this vehicle will last and get me from point A to.point B unlike my last vehicle that was in the shop more than it was on the road. Overall had a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an SUV type vehicle without it being a huge one like some others are. There are also a lot of great videos on YOUTUBE to help you get familiar with the features / small repairs which I would recommend watching once you purchase the vehicle.

HR-V is okay
I had buyers remorse after buying the HR-V. I liked the steering and size of the car but for being 2018, I feel it’s missing a lot of key features that competitor brands offer. Pros: decent steering, great looking exterior, magic seats, Honda lane watch on right side, brake hold for stop & go traffic. Cons: slow acceleration, horribly slow infotainment with no CarPlay, many more modern safety features missing (like blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning etc), seats aren’t very comfy, everything is touchscreen (climate control & infotainment) which is distracting while driving. It gets the job done but needs improvements. I worry about the CVT not lasting as well. Going to look into a potential trade in
