QUIETER THAN MY 2017 CR-V
The sound system in the 2020 Honda CR-V seems much more refined than my previous 2017 CR-V. This vehicle is also a little quieter than the previous one. I was able to lease my CR-V for considerably less than the Edmuns’s estimated cost for a 36 month lease. My salesman Tom at PAGE HONDA, Bloomfield Hills, MI took great care of me.

Avoid Lunar Silver Paint Color
After my purchase of a Lunar Silver EX, neighbors noted that the paint on the plastic front bumper and rear quarter-panels doesn’t quite match the paint on the doors and other metal panels. The paint on the plastic panels has a noticeably different color and reflectivity. It may not be noticeable on the dealer’s showroom, but it becomes obvious in the light of day. It looks like a poorly executed repair job. Once you notice it, you can’t un-see it. Photos on various dealer websites suggest that this is a universal problem – a problem which does not exist with other manufacturers.

2020 Honda CRV Safety features
I purchased my 2020 Honda CRV in June. Had our first snow in Colorado yesterday. Was driving when all the dashboard lights went on and the message was the radar was disabled hence all safety features were disabled. I pulled over called the dealership service department and the service technician confirmed thats what happens in snow and heavy rain and my safety features would remain disabled until the computer recycled. I bought the Honda for its safety features especially during bad weather. My car has only 2k miles and I am stuck with this lemon as there is no recall. If you purchased your car for safety do NOT buy a Honda.
Money horribly SPENT!!!!!!!!!!
We bought this CR-V on August 13,2020 and since then it has done some crazy things such as for NOT STOPPING when its supposed to, and the RADIO NOT WORKING more than three times. I can count at least four times that we will be driving down the road and nothing will be around us (nobody in front of us, other lanes, or anything) and the CR-V will just come to a sudden STOP and have "BRAKE" across the dash in orange letters for no apparent reason. This is a real safety concern for me and my family, this needs to be brought to someone's immediate attention (which I did and know nobody seems to care) or HONDA can have this DEATH TRAP BACK!!!!! I will not be a victim to a vehicle stopping or not stopping when it's supposed to for that matter, or have my fiancé driving this back and forth to the hospital everyday and not know if this will be the day that she won't return because SUV that we bought has decided to have a OFF DAY and stop doing what its supposed to do. I turned it into a dealership on November 2.2020 and had NOTHING repaired after twenty-two days, our car sitting in the back lot for days getting covered in dirt and grime, I believe that this a breach of CONTRACT, of the WARRANTY SIDE, when we bought this car we signed to pay for this BRAND NEW SUV covered by a FULL WARRANTY, and then we bring it in for WARRANTY ISSUES, and then "HONDA & HONDA DEALERSHIP' tells me after twenty-two days that they are not going to do anything about the WARRANTY ISSUES. We have supplied VIDEO PROOF of the problems, and they still act like we are stupid, this does NOT SIT WELL WITH US. I spoke to the service manager today about the REMOTE START not working sometimes, and he informed me sometimes and I quote: "Sometimes you have to lock, then unlock, then lock it again before the remote start will work", I said do what? He said that is how HONDA MAKES THEM, I said you know that isn't right, it's called a remote start for a reason not lock, unlock, lock remote start!!!!! This is what I'm talking about, things like this where service writers and service MANAGERS think they can say whatever and the problem will just go away, well I'm not the kind of person that likes to be taken advantage of,or that will take any answer that they want you to give to make you go AWAY. I also brought my CR-V in for the Adaptive Cruise Control not working correctly, I emailed pictures to my service writer, and then Honda said they was not going to do anything about this issue either because they couldn't get it to do it again. Well the pictures DON'T LIE, I had the car set at four lines (four car lengths) and the picture definitely shows that we are NOT four car lengths away from the car in front of us (when I had to smash the brakes to keep from rear ending the truck in front of us). So what are we supposed to do, not use the features that we bought on the 2020 HONDA CR-V, because we are scared to death that it might just kill us one day? I'm going to be completely honest with you this SUV scares me to death with all its issues already this early in its life of ownership. I also have another question does anyone else's CR-V do this: why when we are driving down the road, say we are going east and another car is going west the CR-V will just BEEP for not apparent reason, it's like the blind spot monitoring is picking up the other side of the road and it shouldn't make the car beep if the car isn't on our line of sight. Ownership of this HONDA has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE for our family. Cause I know we were told that the CR-V would get 30 mpg and we have NEVER got close to that (the best we ever got is 28.6mpg @45mph), EVER. So I'm starting to wonder about a lot of things. A 2020 CR-V EX-L AWD with 5004 miles and already a DEATH TRAP and a lot of ISSUES, is not a good look for either HONDA itself. At this rate I should have kept my 2018 Honda Accord 1.5T Sport. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING THIS SUV!!!!

13 days from buying new and issues with start up.
I bought a new Honda CR-V ex-l awd on November 14th and so far I have noticed a few issues. When using Siri to make a phone call, there would be a display with a person speaking usually, but sometimes the display will just flicker on and off with the mileage. I tried to take a video, but it wouldn’t work since I’m trying to use Siri and it cancels the Siri command. The second issue is when I turned off my car, I noticed all the lights were off. I heard no beeps when exiting. I tried going back in the car and pressing the brakes and start up button and nothing. The button was black. When I pressed the button it just illuminated white around the ring and was blinking. I tried pressing the overhead light and it would not turn on. I called the dealership and they said it was most likely a dead battery due to the car being on the lot. They gave me roadside service number and I called them. They said 60 minutes. I waiting and called them after 1 hour and 15 minutes and they said it’d take 45 minutes. After waiting 2 hours, I wanted to sit more comfortably and the automatic position for the seats worked. At that point I pressed the brakes and the display showed to press button to start. Voila. It started. I drove to grocery store with my grandpa in the car, but did not turn the car off. I tried opening the trunk with the button at the handle and it would not open. I opened my front door and had to press unlock and then the trunk opened. Once I got home I turned the car off and opened the trunk. When I was about to close the trunk, the trunk button was red and light went out. The car would not start again. Light buttons wouldn’t work and the seat positions wouldn’t work. I had to manually close the trunk. I then opened and closed the front driver door and the display for a Honda went on and the car turned on. I was able to lock the doors and now I’m waiting to go to the dealership. While I was in my car waiting for roadside assistance, I called one of the employees at the dealership who had called and left a message on how I liked my car. I spoke about how it would not start up and why my brand new car (which I bought 13 days ago and had only 5 miles on it) wouldn’t start. I told him the dealership said it’s probably the battery. I asked why my brand new car didn’t have a brand new battery. He said they check the car batteries, but at this time their machine isn’t working. Seriously? They out right sold me a lemon then. I will be coming in to the dealership tomorrow and will see if I need to change my review. I should not be having to jump start my brand new car or have to deal with this while I have a toddler in my car.
